Fargo: Bisquik (2024)
What a let down
Huge build up and then just nothing at the end... Season started out fun and action packed and then sort of fizzles and then completely fumbles at the end. There wasn't even continuity in the last episode it was like the director just gave up or something. I had hoped this would be a better season, but I can't recommend this after that ending. The scenes of domestic violence were also quite a lot to stomach and the show had no more humor after the first few episodes. Overall this season missed the mark. Regrettable after a solid start. I should have known better after I couldn't even get through season 4 it was so boring.
Ozark: A Hard Way to Go (2022)
Terrible ending to a good show
Ruth spent the whole season watching out for cars and people following her. Why would she just get out of her car like an idiot and stand there to die? The strongest characters in the show just acted like lambs to the slaughter for the finale. Disappointing and unsatisfying.
Ted Lasso (2020)
First season = 8, second = 4
Shame after such a strong first season. Second is so bad it's unwatchable.
Fargo (2014)
Freaking awesome
This show is quite a masterpiece. I see why Dana G. won a Primetime Emmy for cinematography. The shots are really beautiful, unique, and striking. You realize you are seeing something truly special. The dark comedy and irony throughout is sublime, and the casting, well, perfect.
Beau Séjour (2016)
Guys, Netflix has original audio with subtitles...
From the USA, I thoroughly enjoyed this show. It sucked me in more than I thought, especially for a somewhat slow burner. I was afraid it would be another Netflix series that just fizzled after a few episodes, but this did not disappoint. If you enjoy a dark mystery and a night in, check out this show.
To the people who keep writing reviews complaining of English dubbing, you can literally select the original audio track and put on subtitles! There is no way I would have ever watched it with dubbing.
