Inheritance (2020)
None of the characters are likeable.
Even after the bad casting of Lily Collins who is hardly believable to be old enough to drink, is put in a role of a powerful DA, I kept watching as i wanted to know what the story was behind the man in the bunker.
So throughout the movie I was left to wonder wat atrocious horrible crimes this man committed to deserve such severe abuse, he must have been a deranged serial killer or some war criminal of some sort. Just to get to the end to find out he raped a woman and helped bury a body. Terrible crimes but a few years in prison would have been justified for that.
That leads me to believe that the father was the sadistic psychopath in all this, locking up a man in a dark room chained up for 30 years, torturing him with a single piece of chocolate, turning all the lights off when he leaves the room..? Then sending his daughter in blindly to deal with such a potentially dangerous situation? He sounds pure evil, he makes the man in the bunker look like a good guy, im actually rooting for the bunker guy to get his revenge at the end.
Im definitely overthinking this, because its really just a dumb movie.
Scenes from a Marriage (2021)
Thats not how marriage works.
The people who wrote this has obviously never even been in a relationship. No husband would be so calm and understanding if his wife of 10 years, out of the blue says shes been having an affair for months, and is leaving him and their daughter in the morning. And then trying to portray the woman as the misunderstood victim is absurd.
A Million Little Things: Not Alone (2021)
Gary is so anoying
Gary should get a life. His too good to be true good guy act is getting on my nerves, i struggle to see him in a scene. Also Roman has a very blessed life, him playing this tortured victim is ridiculous.. actually, that goes for everyone on the show.
A Million Little Things: United Front (2021)
Bad.
The writers are so uncreative, they take politics and wokeness to make a story. They missed the Floyd story, so they went back in time just so we, the audience, can relive it through their eyes, a whole YEAR later.. i am getting anoyed how evryone who isnt democrats are portrayed as haters and idiots. Enough with this celebrity preaching stuff.
A Million Little Things (2018)
What?
This has gotten so stupid. These writers has absolutely no talent to come up with any original story lines without using politics and left wokeness. Its so overdone at this point.
Also I used to like Gary but he is getting so annoying. He never seems to do any work or have a job, but lives a life of luxury. His life revolves around nothing else but being the errand and busboy for all his friends. Any time, day or night, hes there with perfect advice and help, added with some super witty comeback. Need $7k for a rehab bill? Dont even ask, Gary's got it.
The State of Texas vs. Melissa (2020)
Why so slow?
I dont know why modern documentaries have to move at such a slow, drawn out pace. I was really interested in the subject, but after 20 minutes of watching the very slow moving unnecessary scenes, and the very slow dialogs, it just became to frustrating.
Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel (2021)
Boring
Another netflix documentary that takes 4 hours to do what could have been said in 5 minutes.
