Beautiful director that did a beautiful job capturing such a horrible scene.

My dad essentially tried (and still is trying) to force Catholicism on me since birth, but I couldn't imagine what these kids had to go through and how terrible their parents are. Forsaking your own child and not talking to them for possibly YEARS!?!? This is an infuriating film for the truth it exposes. David was punished by his parents because of a way he feels inside. I hope they enjoy hell, if it is real.

Push someone towards religion and they will turn and run as fast as possible, because all I can see now is brainwashed individuals clamoring for something that they cannot properly articulate or even possibly hope to prove. Throw your false condemnations and religious voodoo and I'll walk away shaking my head.

How is this not a 10 or at least a 9?

These army vets... Or at least the one that wrote a review bitched about the bias... There was no bias. It simply showed the utterly derisive attitude the U.S. troops showed towards these people. Beasts with weapons that killed civilians with every tool of war possible. tortured and raped children and women. How is that bias? Are we supposed to defend such behavior? Even if Vietnam was in a control struggle, even being oppressed——all we did was come in and make it much, MUCH WORSE.

You want a non-bias document of the war? It'll be just as bad or worse than this. Killing people is inexcusable, especially the innocent on their own land and in their homes. Go make excuses for your demonic actions somewhere else. Like hell.

Your time is worth more than this. Trust me.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why this anime was rated so highly. Out of the over 100 I've watched, this is probably tied for my least favorite. The entire premise was shaky to begin with, but the ending was absolutely terrible. Sometimes even imaginary stories are too delusional. The dub version voices are atrocious as well. The main character whined like a baby almost the ENTIRE SERIES. I would NOT recommend this anime to anyone that I respect. Absolutely terrible. It was at a consistent 2-3 star average for me throughout the entire 12 episodes I watched, but the 13th... The one-star reality really came through.I'm giving it two stars because I managed to stomach it despite is being so awful, mainly so I could give it a true, full review.

If you want a haphazard story with a sappy, unfulfilling, lame ending. Go ahead and give this a go.

Good Game (2014)

Not bad, but a little depressing.

This doc was alright. I think focus on SC2 profits, and more than just one team would have been more enlightening though. Details were also left out that would have made the story a lot more interesting, especially considering they focused strictly on one team (EG). No monetary values were listed, which made it even more difficult to grasp the reality of the situation, and maintain interest. Overall, I am an avid gamer, but I still feel a little sorry for most of the guys in the pro-gaming community. It seems you go SUPER HARD and drop off super fast when you age. Which is crazy to me, but I guess it is what they want to do. Not much of a fallback though.

I agree with the others.

Well made doc, but the parents.... Notice the abusive tones, drug addiction (constantly smoking cigs), terrible role-models, and much, much more. These parents have failed their kids more than anyone else has. It goes to show that education—although not absolutely conducive to success—sure as hell helps a lot in life.

This just goes to show the economic disparity in this country.

All I could think of is the fat cats sitting in their penthouses in clothes on that very minute that "cost more" than what all of those families have combined.

The worst thing about this documentary is the truth behind it—the kids are the victims.

Rather emotional doc that really makes you feel for the kids.

Warning: Spoilers
I think this doc is rated too poorly. While it is not amazing, mainly due to a lack of specific information, it emphasizes every aspect off the health issue in children. This is one of the few health documentaries that shows it is parent's ignorant decisions in a commercial and capitalistic society that damage their kids the most. No blame was given in this doc though, which is rather refreshing. The parents fault is simply the conclusion I—and I would assume most others —came to.

I would have given a 7.5, but that is not an option. I feel for these kids, especially the football player.

Worth a watch IMO.

Educational... Or Infomercial? Informercial.
6 January 2015
The main take away point from this "documentary" is simple: everyone has an agenda. I can't think of any other summary of this so-called "documentary" other than that. The start of this infomercial contains important information (with zero citations or studies listed..), but the latter half is a full-blown infomercial. Health is important and the cast of this "documentary" should be absolutely ashamed to try an profit from it so underhandedly.

If you want a real educational documentary that is similar WITH STUDIES , then watch OUR DAILY POISON! It is a million times better than this and is in it for the people, not the money.

The makers of "Hungry for Money" are little better than the corporations they are slandering. The world would be a better place without both of them.
