Paint drying is more entertaining ...

I am not a fan of Wes Anderson films!

The (insert Wes Anderson film title) was an absolute nightmare of a film. I figured it was one mistake, but they're all equally as horrible.

I refuse to waste more time watching all of these wonderful actors in these ensemble casts trying to make something worthwhile out out pure Wes Anderson sh&t!!!!!

These films attempt to be clever and attempt to provide a dry humor, but they're neither really. The only laughs from the audience came from how absolutely terrible the film was.

The audience was in utter shock of how irresponsibly they were to waste their time and money on such garbage.

Superb!

One of the best movies I've seen all summer long! Great story, fantastic acting, and amazing cinematography.

Viola Davis shows you that she can do it all! The supporting cast did a wonderful job with very well developed characters. You felt connected to each and every one of them.

The action sequences were extremely physical and absolutely incredible. Every actor and stunt person went to great lengths to produce fight scenes that rivaled some of the best choreographed action sequences we've witnessed in some of the most admired action films.

The film is not only about action though. Several very dramatic story lines intertwine throughout the film, bringing intensity, heartbreak, and hope to an already rich story.

Absolutely superb!

Hilarious adult shenanigans

There is a chance that you'll lose some brain cells watching this, but it is laugh out loud hilarious.

Knoxville and the gang have definitely upped the stakes in this latest addition to the Jackass franchise, and you will definitely notice that the bumps and bruises are more significant with age.

PSA: For mature audiences only!

Joker Absolutely Delivers!
13 December 2021
I want to be completely honest in giving my review of this film. I am a huge fan of Joaquin Phoenix, but I was not very excited about this project. I believed the DC tales of Batman and the Joker were overly exhausted to the point they were no longer entertaining. I wholeheartedly thought I would hate this film.

With that said, I was completely shocked with the depth in story telling, phenomenal acting, and brilliant dialogue delivered by this film.

This is not a superhero/ villain story. This story goes much deeper into societal norms which are troubling and in many cases disturbing, but routinely go overlooked. This story dives into the psyche of a person who has experienced physical, emotional, and mental trauma at the hands of a society that really doesn't value him as a person and thus discards him completely as a sort of joke.

The politics associated with this film are very familiar and relevant to what we see and experience in today's political climate.

Some fear that those in power may see it as a threat towards the status quo, while those who feel oppressed may see it as a call to arms.

I completely understand why media is trying to discourage people from seeing this film; it is not because it doesn't deliver, but because it really does. This is a film that makes one pause, think and acknowledge that there are situations in this world that require us to be more human. It also opens our eyes to the class systems which still exist in our societies and how change is necessary to disrupt and eradicate those unfair and unjust systems.

I recommend everyone go see this film! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Vibrant and moving

I'm not a huge fan of remakes, but this was a welcomed and really well executed exception.

The amazingly talented and vibrant cast brought new life and vigor to the story while still paying homage to the original.

Musical fan or not, this is a wonderfully represented piece of historical New York and Puerto Rican art and culture.

I highly recommend this film.
