Dangal (2016)
Dangal Dangal all the way....this Christmas
Its a popular saying "Save the best for the last", Aamir Khan has applied it to perfection. This year's best movie comes at the last month of the year. A superb movie with some great performances from the lead actors however it was the girls who stole the show . Fantastic debuts by young and elder girls as Geeta and Babita. Aamir's transformation from a young man in flashback to old aged father is just incredible . This is by far one of Aamir's best movie and at par with Lagaan. Best biopic ever made in bollywood. Kudos to Aamir and the whole dangal team. This movie inspires everyone and is a must watch. It breaks the stereotype that women cannot excel in a sport which is dominated by men. This year couldn't have ended better . Wort a watch multiple times.
Housefull 3 (2016)
Housefull again , headache again
So the third installment of the houseful series is back. The third part has Sajid-Farhad at helm of things unlike the previous two. The only good thing about this houseful is Akshay Kumar . It was disappointing to see Riteish perform below par this time as he's veteran in comedies. The biggest disappointment was Abhishek Bachchan. All the dialogues were so lame that an elementary kids too wont find it funny . Chunky Pandey reprises his role of Aakhri Pasta and looks repetitive hence looks boring. Abhishek Bachchan trys his best to act funny but hes overdone it again this time with equal disappointment. What waste of time.
Drishyam (2015)
Another Drishyam
Another Drishyam, different language, same story. For those who have seen the original Malayalam version may want to stay away from this remake. Ajay Devgn was good but Tabu stole the movie. Maybe the wife's role could have been gone to a better person. Mohanlal undoubtedly was better than Ajay Devgn. For all those who haven't seen the original version should watch for a thrilling climax. Not too many songs in this movie, but the songs in it take the story forward. It does start a slow in the beginning but pace kicks in with the entry of Tabu. Ishita Dutta(Tanushree Dutta's sister) makes a decent debut. Kamlesh(who plays the inspector) has done a wonderful job of a police officer who has a grudge against Ajay Devgn.
