Evan Almighty (2007)
More as a crusade to make you believe...
This sequel to Bruce Almighty falls flat. the jokes are not funny and the whole movie is so predicable. I could not find myself to laugh to this even once.
Where Bruce Almighty took the concept of God they did make it more easy for non believers. They didn't force feed you with religious thoughts. This movie seems more like a attempt to sell the words of god, or to brainwash you into believing in him if you so like.
It is strange that there is so much religiosity in a a sequel that is made by the same writers. I really think they should have put more effort in the humorous parts and skipped the force feeding.
Evan, you have let me down. This looked all so promising but looks can be deceiving.
Hata Göteborg (2007)
A film from Sweden that for once delivers
Swedish movies, a phenomenon that usually end up as a movie i would put on the bottom of my top list of movies. But then once in a while a Swedish movie actually comes up from nowhere and delivers. and here we have that movie, "Hata Göteborg" This movie shows that a movie with low budget and no big names does not have to end up as a bad movie. As we have learned from before: Swedish movies usually try to deliver something, goes for the big bang with a big budget but fail. In Hata Göteborg we actually have something that to me touched me with it's grate story. And it have been a long time since last time. Hata Göteborg is a movie about people who have got stuck in the wrong company. Friends that tend to play tough because they think that it's the only way to win in this world. This is a movie about friendship, self-confidence, and Peer pressure. I am so happy that this movie was made.
