Correction to the above review by MacIntyre
22 February 2016
One quick correction to the above review. Mark Twain's novel "Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" was not "plagiarized" from Max Adler's 1882 "The Fortunate Island." There is virtually no resemblance between the two works of fiction. Besides, Twain had already recorded the basic idea of "Connecticut Yankee" in a notebook entry before Adler's story appeared. I should also add that an inquiry sent to IMDb revealed that "serious doubts" have been raised about whether F. Gwynplaine MacIntyre actually saw this film version of "Connecticut Yankee," as well as several other films he claimed to have seen and reviewed on IMDb.
