James Bond vs Steel Beak
25 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
An excellent episode with a James bond atmosphere and music with stable storytelling and music.

Best things in this episode:

-Smart tuxedo Launchpad and his sacrifice.
  • James Bond style music.
  • Steelbeak which was one of the best James Bond villains we have ever seen.
  • The general character and aura of the episode.

The Rescue Rangers cameo, contrary to the Goofy cameo of the previous episode, did not impress me since I was never a fan.

We want more Goofy
24 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
An exciting episode. The sitcom background of the episode and how the story linked to the genie of the 1990 movie was a briliant idea. Goofy was amazing and I would surely love to see more of him and max (though I would prefer if he could resemble more the Goofy movies and less the disney afternoon show Goof Troop). The only thing that alienated me a bit was the audience hunting the duck family which was a bit scary in a bad-not amusing way (though I get the reference to audiences and fan bases of shows). Overall: amazing - 9/10.

"Ducktales 2017"'s storywriters surely know how to climax
24 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The finales of both the first and the second season are the very best thing of this series. Another finale that was amazing and exceeded our expectations. Especially the space battle and the appearances of so many characters for the final battle. Very well done.

PS: Would have loved to see Scrooge's countermeasures for an invasion ("unstoppa-bomba" et al.) in action, before the moonlanders destroying them )

Interestingly interesting
13 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The thing is, I was never a fan of Darkwing Duck. I knew the show when I was a kid but I never found it amusing. Just ok. I was not a ducktales fan also, but this maybe was a result of the fact that it did not broadcast for enough time in my country, just for a short one.

Still, I was a great fan of mickey mouse, donald duck and scrooge mcduck universe of comics (even today I still buy and have a great collection). When I learnt about the reboot and the fact that elements of the comics would be included I was super excited and when it was released I really loved it. Great work. But the interestingly interesting part is that my two favorite episodes so far are the first two episodes in which Darkwing Duck made an appearance. This is amazing. It is very well made. Of course, I still don't love Darkwing (I grew up with the comics in which donald duck is the duck avenger/paperinik avenger superhero so I shall always be rooting from him to become a regular member of Ducktales and I know that Darkwing stands in his way - too many heroes maybe) but this episode was amazing. How darkwing materialised from the old tv show, how negaduck also appeared. Really brilliant! (Still hope you make room for Paperinik you guys. I won't give up on him!!)

Gash, I know talked about myself a lot in this review but it was mostly in order to make my PoV clear and apparent.

Scrooge Mc Duck's cuts on House of Mouse
8 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
One of the best episode of the series! The idea to make scrooge the protagonist of an episode was really good!

Also the cartoon they chose, "Midsummer's night dream" from Shakespeare's play was magnificent.

If only we could see another modern cartoon short with scrooge in that so. For example showing as how much he loves his money. That would complete the story.

The whole show felt so boring as an idea but it was so good! Especially when it was using cartoon characters from Mickey Mouse and Duck universe. I would love to see more again, especially based on stories from the Disney Eurocomics

Could be better, could be worse
30 October 2016
The CGI could really be better (it was not completely unsightly but it was in dire need of of improvement)but the stories were good. I was so happy to see that Disney selected stories that originated from comics (I've read these stories in magazine "Μεγάλο Μίκυ" (eng: "Big Mickey") which used to be published in Greece, I just don't if the stories were published before the movie or afterwards). Okay, they were not the most fascinating stories and they had more time of musical than one can endure (seriously, nor children nor any type of comic/animation show fan likes musicals, action is better), but it was good to watch in the end.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (2006–2016)
1/10
Why we get that show and not a show based on the comic stories of Topolino or any other well-known magazine? Why Disney? :'(
28 October 2016
I remember myself since I was not even in primary school, buying and reading the comic stories of these beloved Disney characters (mostly of the sensational six),even now I am still occasionally buying many Disney magazines (mostly topolino (greek name "Μίκυ Μάους"), The phantom duck and Indiana Goofy magazine ( "Αλμανάκο"), the Donald duck magazine ("Ντόναλντ"), and more. I also like some of the movies, for instance "Mickey's Christmas Carols", but to my great disappointment there are almost no cartoons based on the cartoon magazine stories..I mean we only have the old cartoons till 1960s which are completely outdated today, and small cartoon series with 3- 5min episode (yeah even house of mouse and Mickey mouse works which had a very good presentation, graphics, voice casting, etch. did not have any interesting stories). The same goes for "Ducktales" even though it was a cartoon series that actually tried to transfer to the big screen some good and entertaining stories. Of course I understand it was a series of 1980s,however since then we have not seen any kind of attempt to produce a real story. By real I mean a story that has some kind of action, the audience knows where it begins and where it ends, and has an amazing time following the storyline. Instead we always get some boring completely childish cartoons.

I mean, there are so many great stories in the comics section,(f.e. detective stories of mickey mouse and chief o'hara chasing Black Pete and Phantom Blot or solving any kind of mystery, Goofy's Friday stories, Phantom duck adventure stories) why should anyone prefer to create stories with Darkwing Duck, mickey and the rest of the sensational 6 running around and practically doing absolutely nothing, like acting in a short pun. And now we ended up with the worst kind of show, "Mickey mouse Clubhouse". Nothing funny, nothing entertaining.Just something that babies can watch and let time go by.

Come on Disney,we expect more from you.Make some great movies and you will see us paying to watch them on theaters. Make great cartoons series and we will watch them. You have so much to give but you prefer not to.Why? ( I really have high expectations of the anticipated new series of ducktales!!!Although the graphics are way too "modern", a nice storyline can always save the day. I hope each episode won't have such a slow progression as the old one though)
