Naesungjukin Boseu (2017)
Gotta make it passed the first five edisodes
If you can make it passed the first 5 episodes, it finally becomes a pretty watchable show. I don't know what else to say except that I'm glad I didn't give up on it. It was hard to keep going in the beginning. Korea seems to kind of glamorize suicide which I wish they wouldn't. It's a problem. There are much better ways to handle things rather than suicide. Anyway, once I struggled past the first 5 episodes, I found that it was worth watching the rest to the end. Please try.
The Good Doctor (2017)
Could be a fantastic show if not so man hating
This show started out being a really excellent show, but it is HEAVILY a one sided "men are pigs" kind of show. If it were fair and made a point of the misgivings of women, then I would be ok with it. I know that there are a lot of men who are jerks and there are a lot of women who are jerks as well, but this show just focuses on men. I'm only up to S1E10, and will continue to watch to the end of season 1, but they either have got to stop the "man hating' or add the issues that women throw into the mix. Here's one. A friend of mine: good man. Always respectful to his wife. He has always encouraged her and did a hell of a job at running a company and raising a son while his wife never worked, took at least 4 vacations a year with her friends leaving family behind, demanded a $4,000 allowance each month. Was asked to help out with the business but never has. She waited until their 25th anniversary was over and announced that she wanted a divorce. Her demands were that she wanted half of everything that he has. The son is 17 and she doesn't want to have to be responsible for him. She is also wanting $7000 dollars a month forever and she has a boyfriend. The husband has never cheated on her. Has always treated her well. She got mad because she demanded that he allow her brother be able to work in the company. He allowed her brother to work and after months of doing nothing and being asked to participate, he finally let him go. From that time, she had made up her mind. She admits to everything and thinks that waiting until after the 25th anniversary automatically justifies her actions... what? And yes, women do this, but I don't live life thinking we should constantly be making a TV show pointing out all the failures of women. This show, so far, seems to be very one sided. Either make it fair and put in the faults of both men and women or lay off the "man-hate". This could be a 10 out of 10 stars if it weren't so heavily one sided. Wow. After the first couple of episodes, I was so excited about this new show, but now, I'm wondering if it's going to be like this for the rest of the time. I'll give it a chance to see if it either include worn or if it just continues to be this lop-sided.
Second Chance (2016)
Excellent show - wish they had continued
I know that the show is done, but I wish they could find a way to bring it back. The actors make a great team and the writers are very good. Antbody 40 years plus has a dream and that's having the chance to go back and make a difference. When you are young, its easy to be selfish and not see the bigger picture. As you get older, its less about yourself... or is it... Getting older is hard. The younger generations are always going to be pationate, but off the mark. When we have been in the real world for a while, things change; passions change. Before this show came along, I imagined something like this. I don't like to watch shows week by week. I, like many people, like to wait for a few seasons to go by and then binge watch. I guess that doesn't help the studios that are counting on people to also have to watch the commercials. Sorry this one didn't make it. I waited hoping that maybe it would be brought back but its a bit late for that now, so I'm binge watching season 1.
Madam Secretary (2014)
I hate when Hollywood does this.
This is a show about politics, but they should stay out of real politics, especially when they are misleading everyone. Everyday people who have no idea what is really happening see this show as being what is actually happening in the US and it's not. This is more propaganda.
