There are mentally healthy, socially adjusted young people in the world too.

How was this show taken over by this nonsense? I don't want to hear about people's FEELINGS anymore.

Or, if there needs to be lots of F E E L I N G S, why can't there be young people who aren't cringeworthy beyond belief?

Are the writers aware that there are teenagers who aren't ENDLESSLY ANGSTY? The boy with the blue hair, Gray or whatever, is one of the most disingenuous people over ever seeen on screen, and I'm AMAZED that the rest of the crew didn't go on strike to keep him off the cast. My GOD.

Everything is a therapy session now; everyone a victim.

This show, especially the finale to the second season, started out pretty strongly.

But it has since slipped into a hyper-obsession with pseudo mental healthcare.

Almost every conversion is a therapy session, and almost all dialogue is about feelings.

It is my opinion that the writers are emotionally illiterate narcissists who have deep personal investments in writing weak characters who are celebrated for just doing their jobs.

I feel bad for the actors, honestly.

A gem.

One of my top five favorite movies.

While everyone gushes over Sandler's interesting performance (and it definitely is), I think Watson plays one of the most interesting characters I've seen in a while.
