M*A*S*H: Morale Victory (1980)
History lesson might not be correct
Winchester tells Sheridan (a pianist who won't be able to use his right arm any more) about a piece written by Ravel for the left hand. Here is the direct quote from IMDB
Maj. Charles Winchester: It was written for an Austrian concert pianist named Paul Wittgenstein. He lost his right arm during the First World War. He embarked on a long search to commission piano works for the left hand alone. Composer after composer turned him down, but he refused to give up. Finally, he found Ravel who, like him, was willing to accept this great challenge.
But Wikipedia says that Wittgenstein "approached . . . Famous composers, asking them to write material for him to perform. Benjamin Britten, Paul Hindemith, Alexandre Tansman, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Sergei Prokofiev, Karl Weigl, Franz Schmidt, Sergei Bortkiewicz, and Richard Strauss all produced pieces for him."
So it does not seem like he got turned down alot.
The Avengers: Epic (1967)
Really fun episode that seems a remake of Batman episode
This Avengers episode aired in April 1967. Here is a Batman episode that sounds similar from April 1966
Death in Slow Motion
Charlie Chaplin and the Keystone Kops raid the till at the newly opened Gotham movie theater. The culprits turn out to be 'The Riddler' and his gang in disguise. They lead the Dynamic Duo on a crime spree chase from Mother Gatham's Bakery, past the Gotham Library, and into a Temperance Party. At each of these events, the villains are accompanied by German film maker Van Bloheim who captures everything on celluloid.
Legends of Tomorrow: Legendary (2016)
Spoiler warning
Loved this episode.
In JLA #98, they fight the evil cosmic vampire starbreaker in three different time periods just like how they fought Vandal Savage in this episode.
If you have ever seen the Doctor Who episode "Blink" you might recall the weeping angels. There is a statue of a weeping angel in a scene in a cemetery.
And the guy the meet at the end is a great set up for the next season. It suggests more heroes that we know coming to the series and another parallel world, which opens up all kinds of possibilities
