Family Guy: Old West (2023)
Very interesting episode
Great Father's day episode for a mid season return. The entire plot with Peter and his friends trying their best to reunite Mayor West with his father was interesting building some unity between their strained relationship. It's definitely worth watching. 9.6/10. Season 21 is one of the better recent seasons. Some of the episodes capture elements of both old and new versions of the show. The characters are starting to get better, fast paced storylines and showing depth to their original and current personalities. I'm hoping the rest of the season reinvent the show's quality again. It'll take time though.
Family Guy: The Candidate (2022)
Definitely one of the weirdest episodes. However, I still laughed.
This episode was more Stewie centered this time. Not in a bad way. In my personal opinion, this episode felt a little off but managed to pull through with the entire plot focusing on Stewie and Doug's petty rivalry and poking fun at political parties at each other's throats. It certainly did come off as unusual yet funny in some ways. The ending for Stewie becoming snack captain and Doug's apparent offscreen death was anticlimactic due to the fact the writers somehow knew that Doug's character in recent years has become divisive to point that they had to write him off now. Not a bad choice, but I did think that Doug was a good foil for Stewie's character arc to understand that he's not as awesome as he used to be. The subplot with Peter and the guys using the scooter to travel places was hilarious on its own which did set up the Stewie main plot nicely because Mayor Wild Wild West save them earlier in the episode from a crocodile. The callbacks to certain old characters were neat as well. In my opinion, I give a 9.2/10.
Family Guy: Carny Knowledge (2022)
Superb episode. One of the best episodes.
This episode was nice. The main plot with Peter and Chris hanging out was fun and it showed more depth between their relationships between father and son in a more relatable manner. It was certainly interesting when Lois got jealous of the two of them taking control of their lives and tried to separate their bonds and then the two tried to get revenge on her as a result. However, their ending was unexpected. The subplot with Brian dating a carny lady was similar to the many arcs of Brian's unsuccessful dating life because he always messes everything up. Brian's ending was a bit sad in a hilarious way. The ending with Seamus going to the awards ceremony was one of the best highlights of the episode especially referencing the Will Smith fiasco he pulled months ago. 9.7/10.
Family Guy: The Stewaway (2022)
Super good episode!
What an unusual episode, but in an awesome way to be honest. The main plot with Quagmire and Stewie was unique and by far one of the most underused pair for the first time in Family Guy history. I mean Stewie and Quagmire never officially interacted at all in the first 20 seasons and I wanted to see them bond and this was a step in the right direction with fleshing out underused pairings of characters. The subplot with Peter and Lois was also entertaining as well as exploring the darker aspects of Instagram and how people would do anything for clout. Definitely one of the better episodes of this season. Phenomenal. 9.6/10.
Family Guy: Happy Holo-ween (2022)
Good Halloween episode.
Wow, it's been awhile since we had a Halloween episode from Family Guy. I have to say that this is one of the best episodes so far. The entire plot is very interesting yet similar to an older episode except this episode completely explores more of Peter's antisocial behavior and self-centered personality traits. For example, spending less time with his family and being overly cynical and nihilistic with reality. However, he does have his regrets and his holographic version of himself was more caring than he was, yet the hologram became insane and the fight was ironic but hilarious. This episode was super entertaining in my opinion. 9.7/10.
Family Guy: The Munchurian Candidate (2022)
Fantastic episode in awhile
This is by far the best episode so far in a very long time. The main plot with Peter and Lois finding spark in their sex life was hilarious especially the part Peter gets hypnotized into sleeping with Babs was too funny. The subplot with Stewie building a clubhouse was also entertaining. Brian and Chris's criticisms were harsh but warranted about Stewie trying to hard about impressing others regarding his image. 10/10 in my opinion. Best episodes in years XD. Season 21 is very interesting so far. I can't wait for the next episode. What a hilarious and raunchy episode. 🤣😂🤣😂. This show still has spunk.
Family Guy: Bend or Blockbuster (2022)
Nice episode, a bit anticlimactic at the end.
This episode is very interesting to say the least. It demonstrated how the Griffins were able to spend quality time together by showing some depth to family values in weird ways. There were some funny moments here and there and current topics that can be a bit divisive, but that's the show. It's always spoke It's mind whether we like it or not. This episode in my opinion was a 9.2/10. It was certainly a bit better than this season's premiere. I hope the rest of this season will be entertaining and watchable than the past few seasons. Long running shows need to change to the current times unfortunately.
Family Guy: Oscars Guy (2022)
Nice Premier, but this season needs more originality and depth.
I actually the spoofs. The twists on their own were funny yet a bit unusual but they made me laugh. 9.0/10 for me. Hopefully the fandom doesn't go way too hard on the writers for the parodies. I hope that this season will finally unite the entire fandom from splitting into unnecessary schisms because it's pathetic fighting over little things about a show that's been on for years. This episode may seem off-putting to others but, humor is subjective to everyone. I think the writers should work on revitalizing the characters to have at least some of their original personalities back and faze out the cutaways to develop the storylines better in my opinion.
Family Guy: All About Alana (2022)
Such a hilarious yet interesting episode.
The entire plot with Alana stealing Lois's life was freaking fantastic and the whole family enjoying her presence was also entertaining on its own. I really liked this episode. What a great storyline. 9.8/10.
Family Guy: Hard Boiled Meg (2022)
Nice episode of this season
Man, what a great episode this was. The main plot with Meg was hilarious with exploring her experience with criminal activity, and the subplot between Peter and Quagmire was also entertaining with the hiccups. Brilliant episode. 10/10.
Family Guy: Lawyer Guy (2022)
Different, yet interesting to watch.
Lol, what an unexpected episode. It was certainly a bit weird, but it made me laugh. Peter's main plot with the new lawyer, Brick Baker was hilarious while Stewie and Brian's subplot was also cool to see. 9.4/10.
Family Guy: The Fatman Always Rings Twice (2021)
Wow, what a great episode.
Brilliant episode. This noir parody was freaking fantastic. The 1940s style in this story was amazing and hilarious. One of the best episodes of this season. 10/10. I really like season 20 so far.
Family Guy: Peterschmidt Manor (2021)
A Freaking sweet episode.
Such a freaking hilarious episode. Lois's plot with her dad was very touching and the subplot with Peter and the kids with the hotel was also entertaining. 9.9/10. This season is becoming one of my favorite in recent years. The characters are slowly getting back their character arcs in old and new ways of story development.
Family Guy: Brief Encounter (2021)
Great episode.
The main plot with Stewie and Doug was interesting in a good vs evil narrative while Peter and Quagmire's subplot were also reflected perfectly on wearing each other's personalities.
Family Guy: Must Love Dogs (2021)
A much better episode than last week's episode.
The main plot with the Brian-Quagmire rivalry was great and the subplot despite being an old episode rehash subplot was certainly different than I expected. 9.5/10.
Family Guy: Rock Hard (2021)
Another good episode from this season so far.
I laughed alot at this episode. It's a little bit of an improvement from the previous episode. It was certainly interesting to explore the background knowledge of rock stars from the past.
Family Guy: Family Cat (2021)
One of the better episodes of this season.
This season is much better than the last few seasons. There were some duds, but the majority of the better episodes were interesting though. This episode was super on point about cat lovers and cats as house pets. Great episode.
Family Guy: And Then There's Fraud (2021)
This episode was so trippy and crazy funny
Both plots were interesting and freaking insane, yet weird in a good way. A little hard to follow at first, but I get the trolling and self awareness from the writers. This show knows how to poke fun at itself with either making people laugh or pissing them off.
Family Guy: Fecal Matters (2021)
One of my most favorite episodes of this season.
This episode was great. Both plots were very nice to explore the current issue with the pandemic. Peter and Ernie's relationship was fleshed out pretty well and Brian's subplot about taking ancestry/ personality tests were also spot on. Great episode. 10/10.
Family Guy: The First No L (2020)
Great Christmas episode!
This episode was amazingly interesting. It may seem like a rehash of A Freakin sweet Christmas from years ago, but this episode has more unique elements to its premise, which became great overall. 9.9/10.
Family Guy: CutawayLand (2020)
One of the best episodes of season 19.
This episode was very funny and the social commentary on how Family Guy pokes fun at itself with its usage of cutaways and long gags to piss off certain people who constantly complain about the show's structure of story telling. It was truly interesting and unusual.
Family Guy: Boys & Squirrels (2020)
A very good, but unusual episode.
Both plots were funny and wacky in itself. It made me laugh a lot. Hopefully this season ends strong in a good way.
Family Guy: Stewie's First Word (2020)
One of the much better season premieres in a long time.
This season premiere was a lot better than last season's premiere. Family Guy has its ups and downs in some episodes, but overall it's still pretty entertaining in my opinion. The people who constantly complaining about the show are basically clout chasers who feed off the negativity towards the show and writers with unwarranted contempt. It's really annoying and pathetic at this point. These bottom feeders are nothing but trash. Move on already.
Family Guy: Movin' In (Principal Shepherd's Song) (2020)
Great season 18 finale episode
This episode was relevant to outrage culture and the issues with the fat acceptance movement. It was topical and on point with cancel culture fanatics and was refreshing.
Family Guy: Holly Bibble (2020)
Great episode
The people who hate this episode are a bunch of religious clout chasers. Seriously, how offended are these people? These people are just like the woke people on Twitter. It's pathetic.
