Bob Marley: One Love (2024)
Beautiful and inspired! One love!
A beautiful film that captures a concert for peace in a very unrestful time in Jamaica.
A stunning, deep performance playing Bob Marley.
I was transported into the hear of the music and stunning visuals. If you're looking for a biography this is not it. It's just a few years with flashbacks to the difficult years. One love, his message come through, the music, the acting and the rich colors of Jamaica transport the viewer into the life of one of the greatest artists. Kingsley Ben-adir and Lashana Lynch give unforgettable performance. The forbearing death of a legend is also touched upon. A beautiful film.
Back to Berlin (2018)
A moving film that comes full circle.
This is a moving film that comes full circle giving some sort of closure to the past by retracing the steps of those Jewish Athletes in 1938. This is an important film retracing the steps to make sure history does not repeat itself. Beautiful made with the doorway into empathy and healing.
Fractional (2011)
A compelling horror film.
A very compelling horror film. Fractional was not what I expected. Left to try survive in a warehouse Navigating present and past tortures in order to free himself. The mind and it's secrets is a powerful doorway to freedom.
Very spooky for those who like this world.
When They See Us (2019)
Brilliant! Heartbreaking and important.
Brilliant! Heartbreaking and important.
This true story is staggering. We need to look at the way we treat black people in America. This system made to keep them down to keep a toxic system in place. A must see.
Brilliantly directed and acted by all.
Steele Wool (2019)

Purdah (2018)
A wonderful film into what it means to dream.
Purdah is a gem of a film. Beautifully shot, a glimpse into the world most people don't get to see, being a girl in a Muslim culture and the passionate dream of one young girl. I was rooting for her the whole time and at the same time understood her family's concerns.
Somebody's Mother (2016)
A beautiful film that stayed with me for days.
This heartbreaking film
Into loss and motherhood stayed with me for days. Somebody's Mother tells the story of grief as Claire struggles at her one year anniversary of her baby's death. Her sister ANNA comes to comfort her and the irony is she is failing at motherhood and feels trapped. The film is beautifully shot and acted by the Tollman sisters. The stages of grief and the difficulties of motherhood, Anna is struggling with Postpartum depression and hiding from her husband and left her child. A must see for all.
