Thrilling you exciting better than prison break
23 September 2021
Wow. I accidentally stumbled on this series and I am so glad I did. I thought nothing could beat prison break as its screen play and concept were great but this has been stunningly produced.

It's not a family friendly series but with crime thriller and thieves you expect this type of lifestyle.

Amazed and hooked cannot get enough, you grow to love the cast and heartbroken if something happens to them, however I love the stylised flashback which then reveal the plan and you still get to see your beloved cast.

Someone needed to kill Mr Roman.

Veer- Ahhhhhh Superb
22 October 2010
I ignored this film for so much time after hearing an interview from Salman Khan. In the interview it was revealed that this plot came in to his head the same time as his earlier movie Chandramukhi. He said it was not feasible in those days to make a film on this scale and now it was so he was pushed and helped in releasing his movie Veer.

I was thinking 20 years thought must be out dated and pain too watch like a lot of films that get released in the wrong decade.

On this occasion I was wrong it was superb, dialogue, delivery, cast and stylisation brilliant.

The producer, director and cinematographer enhanced this film with their production a brutally honest depiction of a proud but violent tribe that started a revolution.

Zareena or fat Katrina as some have labelled was used I was people have posted as Katrina dropped out and they used her body double, how a body double in not proportionately the same I do not know. Zareena did a satisfactory job but this film required someone who is known and loved in Bollywood.

Brilliant film, cast and production. Unfortunately Katrina or another celebrity was not in it for a commercial point of view and would have been a blockbuster

Dabang- Fearless
12 September 2010
This kind of film will keep Salman Khan in touch with his fans an action film with style and its own unique touch of humour.

Salman Khan is awesome in this movie.

I applaud the direction of this movie everything was done in balance they did not over do any sad scenes any gag or action.

I am an action person so I have to deduct two points as I wanted more blood but being this was en Eid film I can respect why it was not included so families can watch it as a 12A. I hope the DVD is uncut at gives violent version.

Sonakshi looked gorgeous and you can see a spark in her face, Arbaz was okay as the dimwit brother and Sonu Sood was good as the villain.

Perfect film for the family as everyone gets a bit of what they are looking for

Wanted too good- Rhadey is back
11 August 2010
Salman reprises his role as Rhadey and boost his dying career again in my opinion. Its time for Prem to take a break and Rhadey to break bones and set new trends in bollywood.

This film wonderfully crafted and the actors and actress do an amazing job. I do applaud Vinod Khanna, the forever hard man of Bollywood. The scenario's are nicely collated the affects suit the genre of the film and the acting does justice to the characters.

Like all of bollywood films and the big stars excluding Amir Khan the acting has become poor as they expect hits from their simple appearance in a film. This is true on the majority of films as most bollywood movie fans adopt a favourite actor and will no matter what what their films. In my household we have Akshay Kumar and Shahrukh fans - no matter how bad the film, reviewed it must be watched at cinema.

I think this film will bring Salman closer to success as he will regain confidence in his acting and will make more an effort to deliver.

This type of movie differs from conventional Indian movies and thus creates a new market which salman possibly akshay could exploit further and enhance their acting to what it once was.

I would love to give this film 10/10 but there were moments were it could have been enhanced even further for the action fans of bollywood.

Another pile of Rubbish for Akshay Kumar
11 August 2010
My advice if you want to have a good laugh watch the trailer only, if you want to watch a good bollywood film watch WANTED, 3 IDIOTS or one AMITHAB's CLASSICS. please spare yourself misery.

What was the director thinking when producing this? Lets see, will put some comedy and a message and will mix it together and it will work.

Normally it would if the two ideologies do not clash so much, if you want to put a message through you would need a level of humour that is fit for purpose, slight humour not over the top or as I would describe pathetic

When Kulbushan challenged Akshay and said I have not got the money to fulfil your sisters dreams and get her marriage you earn the money otherwise I will have to do as others will have to say. You think okay the director is going to do something bring about a change to Akshay Kumar's character- does that happen, NO, instead the film goes from worse to awful when his sister dies and Akshay does nothing except for act really bad in the ending scene when Kulbushan is now proud of his dumb stupid pathetic son, akshay. Akshay can only say a few stupid lines to the ladies of the house and even these he cannot deliver without you wanting him to kick up the rear.

The director and akshay Kumar should think about what they want to achieve and realise that its possible to do it but it will ruin the film and If it will ruin the film it is not worthwhile.

Akshay Kumar move away from comedy its impairing your vision as you appear to think that this sort of film is a granted hit.

I have hard core fans of Akhsay Kumar and they rated this film 2 as it has AKSHAY KUMAR in the film. If 0 was possible that would be my vote.

Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi- Marvelous Romance /Family Saga
25 August 2009
This movie was superb from beginning to end. It is a masterpiece a true gem for all lovers and those who appreciate the acting and the suttle touches which enhance the scene.

The actors I have seen before but never noticed or should I say have never done themselves justice. Isha K looked stunning and her role was marvellous, she looked and played her part exceptionally. Sonu s was brilliant as the handsome, sincere lover who is just waiting for the one he loves.

What a beautiful story... Marriage in Asian families is how you show someone you have committed to them and you will be sincere and devoted to them. Unfortunately they were unable to get married when they wanted but their love stood through the test of time.

I loved the simplicity of the movie and the slight touches. When Isha k decides they cannot get married, he understands it all and is not annoyed and then asks "give me the right to wait". These moments are bliss and just touch you as thats how love should be unconditional and patient.

Although this can be a tear jerker it is a movie that lovers would appeciate forever. The songs, the poetry for this particular film are superbly selected and have done justice.

I wish the production just paid allot more for advertisement or released this on valentines day. It would been a commercial hit.

This would be my favourite film but it is pipped by Hum Saath Saath Hain another Rajshiri production due to the cast namely Karisma Kapoor.

i ain't a kareena or a shahid fan but great
12 November 2007
this film is fantastic and its been along time due. I'm not going to comment on the performances as I'm not fan of either kapoor.

what makes this difference from other comedy movies is dialogue and chosen method on how to deliver. other comedies focus creating a scene where something stupid will happen and then waste 15 minutes or nowadays a whole film around it.

the characters are believable and the situation can actually happen it is not a comedy with complete fiction. the language and tone of this film is vibrant and bubbly. the contrast of language and tone from each of these individuals enhances the scene.

its comedy is based centrally around two different personalities and how they change one another's life even if its a clash.

romantic movie? i don't know i would call it that, but a good comedy with some romantic notion. it kind of reminds me dil hai ke manta nahin...

The union of Muslim and Sikh
25 August 2007
More films like this should be made and the sexual content should be removed so younger people can watch it and understand the reason why people were slaughtered in Pakistan and India.

People were slaughtered for being either Muslim, Sikh or Hindu and Christan's were not spared either. If a Sikh killed a Muslim a Muslim would kill a Sikh. It was a disgusting vicious cycle.

This film really revolves around the central two characters Jimi Mistry, a Sikh and Kristin Kreuk, a Muslim, whom fall in love, at a time when Muslims and Sikh are dividing.

The story follows there love for one another and kind of emphasises the point love is greater than religion or any other divide that segregate people.

Neve Campbell and Irrfan Khan also support the cast superbly.

not bad could have been great
25 August 2007
Its great to see two of the biggest stars in a comedy together. They both are wonderful actors and superb in performance. However for me personally I could not appreciate this film as we have known Govinda through all his films as a person who can get his girl easily. For this reason it was difficult to appreciate that Govinda would need advice even if it from the King of Bollywood Salman Khan.

I have not seen Hitch, which apparently this is a blatant rip off from but from the cat in that movie I feel it probably had the same flaw.

Im not a fan of Katrina kaif so I'm glad she was pretty easy and the hard gal was the gorgeous Lara.

this film needed more jokes and this should have been implemented when the main tow stars got together.

Chota don or Rajpal Yadav is a good actor but his character was over the top and made you just want to turn away at points and laugh at the similarity of him and ShahRukh Khan, whom recently produced a rubbish remake of Don.

Discrimination
16 August 2007
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this as a premiere opening in London with a special appearance from ShahRukh Khan or SK and so obviously we had a load of fans and the atmosphere was electric.

Some girl told SK that his fly was open and he announced it saying does your mom know your staring at my fly. he just did not want to get off the stage.

the film started and immediately the world cup hockey final between India and Pakistan was at an end and SK missed the penalty. Being a Muslim he was criticised and branded traitor and he quickly departed from the scene for 7 years. This opening reminded of what people said about M Azzhuradin when he played for India.

The films main subject is the discrimination of women in India especially in sports. The cast constantly remind us of stereotypical views 'a womens job is behind the stove at home.' No one has come forward to be the coach for the India women team for the world cup and in comes SK, he takes this as an opportunity to prove he is not a traitor and restore dignity to himself and family.

The females in the hockey team all acted superbly and their characters were wonderful and amazing too watch...

In places people may think a coach can not behave like this but in Asian subcontinent it can easily happen.

The film I would rate a 5 but because of the premiere it was enhanced for me in places..

In the film one of the leading ladies attempts to seduce SK and amongst the audience we hear cries for Chak de Kuri no which means Grab the girl and go for it and then we hear louder cries na Shahrukh na kari and this obviously means don't do it SK don't.

Throughout the film this addition of comments made it an amazing experience. SK did a good job in the film but he was not the main lead and he was just used to entice people to watch it.

Im not going to say more than that because it will spoil it but Well worth watching and in big groups preferably!

funny
16 August 2007
from start to end this film was too good and unfortunately it had to end. Its a Mark of a quality film that makes you feel sad thats it ended and so quickly especially when it is 90 minutes in length.

the chemistry between these two great stars in still there and the gags come thick and fast and have everybody in stitches.

they both are putting some age and weight on but that does not stop the stars from delivering punch after punch whether thats as a joke or to the adversaries.

my favourite gag was the one they have used throughout the series with chris tuckers confusion over the words and names me and you or who. Usually these jokes are just between Chris and Jackie but it was cleverly implemented with other actors.

Thankyou for this superb!

superb trilogy
16 August 2007
This film starts and ends great and it has everything you want in great acting, ruthless violence and fast paced storyline.

Its only flaw for me personally it should have been a bit bloody especially with that beautiful fight against Desh. You cant really include blood in a 12. The fight was brutal and when he struck that women everyone felt her pain and said ooh.

Thankfully the story did not deviate and Jason Bourne remained ruthlessly intend to succeed without due care for who he puts at risk.

Good sequence great acting and great delivery. This trilogy succeeds very easily and from 1 gets better then great and now becomes superb!

A family saga that sweet and tasteful.
21 July 2007
Most films fail to display family emotions and what happens within families and how they get torn apart but this film sheds a unique light on love, family values and the rich / poor divide.

A great moral movie with plenty for everyone to enjoy. Great acting, beautiful songs and a story that wants you to sit in eager anticipation and hope that prem succeeds in his quest to gain approval from his would be father-in-law.

Alok Nath plays his role well and so does the young Bagyshree. The only person who I felt played under himself was the character who played Salman Khans Father. M Behl is splendid as the devious villain and it is wonderful to see how flexible he is as a good guy or bad guy.

Physically speaking there is no magic in the movie but metaphorically speaking this movie is completely divine and full of magic.

Evan Almighty (2007)

God wants Noah
21 July 2007
I did not expect this movie to be as good as it was, it was a great laugh. Some religious people may take offence, not only because God is being represented and Noah is being portrayed in the film.

However the film utilises the cast perfectly and God shows his wrath or blessing upon Evan, but just at a time when its exactly what he does not need.

When your a person who takes no risks and wants to go up the ladder and God speaks to you and seems to do tasks of the old ages it seems difficult to do.

Unlike Bruce Almighty, god creates mayhem for Evan and enforces him to grow a beard, wear a robe.... thats difficult and hilarious especially when your in politics. Bruce creates Mahem for himself by increasing his own responsibilities and having dire consequences with his decisions but Evan is given the burden of responsibility as the only way he can continue and there is nothing he can do to avoid it.

The moral of the film, God works in mysterious ways and eventually it will pay out if you follows his given guidance. No matter how difficult the path.

not bad but cannot beat the original
21 July 2007
This film focuses this time on Ice Cube and John C. McGinley as the main leads of the film.

Yes, the other cast do star, however these are the central characters.

John C. McGinley is the annoying character in the film seen as evil by Ice Cube and lovely and adorable by the other cast.

NOW you can see thats going to cause problems when your stepfather and your wife's going to have twins. Not only that you have bought the ultimate house of horrors, which reminds me of Tom Hanks's movie MONEY PIT.

I really like John C. McGinley as an actor but he annoyed me. Ice cube has made a movie for moral value and good attempt at a family comedy. It does not live up to the original as the movie is now shared by two stars and the movie does begin to slow down. For attempt and some good sequences 5.

Notice Taj Mowhry in this film, yeah he looks different but not that much that I could not recognise him.

not bad
20 July 2007
the only thing that makes this film disgusting for me is that the cover page should not use samuel jackson as in to suggest that he is also a main lead in the film.

Samuel jackson has less then 10 minutes in the film.

the film is twisted and slow and then picks up quickly after 30 minutes.

If it was me I would have just gone to sleep because the only person causing damage to him was his delusional head.

yes i know it was not a delusion there was more going on... but he was causing it himself, the almost suicide on the balcony... well it would have seemed that way..

the fire.... started by him!

next time go to sleep your mind will rest and delusions wont start until you wake up at least.

i would have tried harder breaking the door.

i hated the line every time i look at your face i see her face.... she was right in her come back line, is that torture what she is going through?

seeing the face of someone you love is it torture or a blessing, i don't know, what do you think?

really bad
20 July 2007
This film was pathetic totally compared to the rest! the plot was thin, the acting dull, the delivery poor and the style the director/producer has chosen created a waste of time watching this movie.

The graphics poorly utilised and all together a waste of money making and waste of my time watching and the cinema ticket.

I appreciate that this book was very long and could in no way be created like Lords of the Rings in parts, however it should have been given more thought and consideration. It just seems that now that its a global phenomenon anything will do and less work needs to be done. Thats the wrong mentality to have.

The characters were kept within their shells and not allowed to show more of themselves. It would have been nice to see one of the characters stick out and play something thats not expected from them.

Apparently there was suppose to be so much new jokes attempted yet whilst watching the movie in full cinema showing there was only one person laughing and he was doing that throughout... NO DOUBT ON HOW STUPID THIS FILM WAS.

As students we are disruptive and do not take to any abuse yet in this film students were assaulted and they just took it... without any powers I would have sorted her out and if i had powers like them all i would expect her body to be in shreds.

the most liveliest character to waken me up and given me a good laugh was Evanna Lynch ... Luna Lovegood she gets a 1 the film gets nothing and no one else gets anything. she was cracking as the deranged new student. everyone else i cannot stand and think should be hanged, well if you cant do that maroon them to somewhere like Antarctica were they wont be seen.

no sympathy for anybody as no one earned it.

bury this film and say don't exist cos i have been told by book readers that the film does not do the book justice in the least.

brilliant
7 September 2006
If you want to see a performance that demands great acting this film is for you. If you want to see a typical bolywood movie watch some rubbish like chalte chalte or something like that.

Salman Khan is brilliant from start to end.

His persona, his character and delivery of dialogues hits the mark every time.

I know its hard to keep a straight face and he does it successfully, he is a man that disassociates himself with everything yet deep down he is more sociable than anybody.

His acting is not over the top, there are slight variations in posture, facial and his language that he uses to great affect to show the characters feelings.

Brilliant film. brilliant acting.

Sudesh berry enjoyed his special appearance as well Divya Dutta.

I have backups of this DVD when I bought i don't want mine getting lost.

If you really want to watch a movie that will entertain and make you laugh till you drop, do not watch this.

This is a movie that lacks substance and performance. The lady is beautiful but it is not a pornographic movie and she ain't worth wasting your time for.

Owen Wilson acts like his just starting his acting career, I think his career is over.

Michael Douglas has insignificant role and is quite tiresome like the film..

If you really desperate to watch this movie do not watch the trailer as all the best material in the film has been used in it. That tells you allot doesn't it. Your waiting for some improvement it never arrives.

1 out of 10 is only for the lady in the film, not her acting but her underpants.

Not bad
27 July 2006
Even though i don't really enjoy these sort of movies I'm applauding th new talent and Rishi Kapoor for playing such an unusual character for him.

The movie starts of with a quick internet romance the hope for marriage some conditions are put forward by the ladies father.

The lies start to begin at this point due to desperation and as they say you make one lie you need another lie to cover it up.. this man starts to dig his grave with lies.

Rishi Kapoor plays a rich business who like to display his hetrosexuality.... i love the part when he is told about aids...

His wife she is so weird but i believe the producer has just taken normal Asian worm just slightly overboard for great affect..

Women like to gossip about TV serials well she dresses up as them.

superb movie
30 June 2006
This film was well designed, produced and implemented...

The actors playing all the characters were well selected and did a magnificent job in this movie...

This film may seem ordinary and living in a fantasy to the western world but it is quite factual..

Working for the Takhur is common and fearing him is even more true...

The film displays corruption as it is happening in India, it is very visible, everybody knows who is getting bribed, why they are getting bribed and who is bribing who... ...this is quite different from the western world, were bribes are issued but are rarely seen...

This film touches on a hard subject rape and I would say paedophilia... This film makes you wanna sit up and watch this film without moving a muscle.

Omp Puri or takhur, tries to justify the act by saying the whore never gave them any and because the were intoxicated they could not tell the difference between a 9 or 90 year old. Rape has no excuses!

There are some issues of how Sanjay Dutt really managed to kill all those people but I'm content ignoring that... it is a Bollywood movie after all.

Superb performances and great delivery and end product. Well done!

This film states a feeling an essence...

It speaks out these words to me 'Time does not stop Love'.

I love this film it is beautifully crafted, superbly acted and well worth buying when it eventually releases on DVD.

Th movie does not go into how or why they communicate and this adds to the mystery and the characters just fill you up with a desire for a union.

Love is such a strong bond and this film shows that though these superb actors and brilliant film...

I especially love when he plants the tree for her!! Unique and splendid...

inspired by the south korean movie, now I'm watching that!

What can I say I loved this film too much...

I watched it with my baby brothers and I thought here we go another boring movie like Pokemon, Harry Potter but it was very entertaining from the word go.

This movie has been crafted brilliantly to entertain all those who come to the cinema...

By the end of this film I was hoping to see more and I still am I hope a sequel is made....

This movie has made me aware of these producers talent and now I am quite keen on watching all their movies...

They have talent as they can grasp any audience they desire and when you can do that you are sure to secure big revenues at the cinema and then on the DVD

What can I say I loved this film!!! I watched it on my birthday with some ladies and I though I don't want to watch a kids movie but what can I tell you I enjoyed every moment of it and still do to this day.

I do not believe I will ever hate this film or have enough of it...

By the end of this film I was missing my niece I had to ring and talk to her....

The film evoked so much emotion that I cancelled the rest of my plans with my friends for my birthday and went to see my darling niece...

Thank you for this film...

Its perfect in all essence of the word!

Great Movie
19 June 2006
This movie reminded me of Michael J Fox's Doc Hollywood....

It was brilliant from Pixar, well thought out and well produced.

A Bit of Romance....

Beautiful Cars....

A gorgeous Porsche... always gonna be my lady....

A Beautiful Plot...

Very good Voice overs....

This film finds the balance it is not an eccentric film or over the top and hence may not suit everyone. This is well crafted film and for that I applaud it...

Well done!!!

I would love to see Pixar do a film involving a human cast as the people behind all these movies so far show that they are innovative unlike the rest of Hollywood.
