Ignore stupid NWO trolls of Disney. The movie was just fine. Enjoy it.
24 December 2023
Every single year that passes, Cinematography faces a larger kind of crisis, not because of its own identity, but because of...the audience.

From the moment you have to deal with a generation which is NWO 'sensitive lillies', fragile to specific vocabulary (George Orwell celebrates at this point) and of course when a movie like REBEL MOON is a dark space opera, then your expectations have - unfortunately - to be low. The low grades here were given by viewers who "loved" the new, abhorrent Disney's STAR WARS Trilogy.

The same herd of viewers try - unsuccessfully - to shape a new generation of brainless movie fans who consider REBEL MOON..."soulless" or "weak". It wouldn't be a surprise if the same viewers will put REBEL MOON in the same category with JUPITER ASCENDING (another - without logical reason - underrated movie, unless you wanna fly in pink clouds and you are afraid of anything dark).

As the title says, ignore all these stupid NWO trolls of Disney (just because Snyder figured out that he couldn't fit in the vomiting and toxic environment of the specific multinational). The movie was fun, with a great FX level, concrete scenario, quick and in the end you will find that it had lots of elements of DUNE + FIREFLY + LORD OF THE RINGS + FOUNDATION + HALO + 40K WARHAMMER.

If you a true (dark) space opera fan, you will appreciate that project.

If you are a NWO fruit/"princess", you will continue admiring pointless with no I. Q. characters like Rey Skywalker.

Merry Xmas and Wishes for more Brains in 2024...

In JFK's limousine...there were 4 or 6 people?
15 October 2023
The title of my review is totally relevant with the movie. As long as I remember myself, the day JFK was assassinated, there were 4 people in the limousine; JFK, Jackie O., the Governor and the driver. During the last years, I keep seeing videos with 6 people in the limousine (a totally different model?). What it has to do with the movie? I don't care if people call it Mandela Effect (by the way, I never remember this man being dead in the prison), but for sure, some people are playing with time-travelling or with tachyons or with whatever, by changing details(?) in the past. Now, why some people do remember these changes and some don't, it's another story.

So...do you like in this kind of stuff I just wrote? Watch the movie.

9/10.

Ahsoka: Part Six: Far, Far Away (2023)
Season 1, Episode 6
10/10
Dark/Gothic Star Wars (finally!)
21 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
First and foremost, you should ignore all the negative reviews regarding the specific episode. Obviously, the new generation of Star Wars is full of "sensitive lillies" and they reject anything which has strong dark elements.

The decayed appearance of Grand Admiral Thrawn's storm troopers (night troopers) reminded alot of the epic (for many and for me) DEATH TROOPERS book where a virus on Star Destroyer Vector transforms all the 8,000 crew members into some kind of undead. So this appearance in this episode have a strong gothic/decayed element, not to mention Captain Enoch who reminds a Gladiator during the Roman Empire era.

Beyond that, the episode doesn't have any ultra-uber lightsaber fight but this does not lower its level, on the contrary, the story strengthens the connections between the characters.

Last but not least and beyond the fact we saw Grand Admiral Thrawn, the key-element for me (and for all the old members of Star Wars freaks) was the presence of the Witches of Dathomir, an element present in many comic books - no one can forget the epic DARTH MAUL 4 where Maul fights such a Witch or the fact that the Witches are at least mentioned in many books of the epic NEW JEDI ORDER (Yuuzhan Vong Invasion).

Bottom-line: it was an episode for thinkers NOT FOR SHEEP, not for those who see Star Wars as a theme park but as something essential, something which might express elements of their character in real life.

Thus, 10/10.

Have you ever read 'NEUROMANCER' or watched the initial 'GHOST IN THE SHELL'?
22 September 2022
If yes, then THIS is a TV show you will adore. The pure aesthetics of cyberpunk subculture passes in front of your eyes; dense neon colors, strong vibes of the 1980s (for example some car designs), neuro-implants basically for everything, a Cyberspace (not the stupid 'Internet' jargon) present everywhere, the music being amazing, from Franz Ferdinand to ambient and dark techno and last but not least all the proper terminology which is also present in other books, video games and table-top games like netrunners.

The final touch is of course the classical design of manga/anime on the characters which older guys like me will remind epic franchises of the 1980s; Robotech, Candy Candy and Space Battleship Yamato.

10/10 for a proper, professional try from oour beloved Japan.

An excellent ethnographic/ecological/crime thriller
10 September 2022
Rarely, do we see such movies nowadays. In the era where the 'sheep' request only Captain America and High Elves, that movie comes and shows our Reality with its beauties and its dark corners. Unfortunately, I haven't read the book despite I am a bookworm, but people keep telling me that it is one of its kind.

The movie depicts beautifully the natural beauties of Southern States and people's ethos in it. There are some touches of 'dark academia' (the love of the protagonist to learn to read/write and later on to publish her books) which promote even further the plot.

Totally recommended for those who love Nature/Ecology, Crime and Ethnography. Daisy Edgar-Jones is the perfect woman both internally and externally.

These two Shakespearean "monsters" took the whole episode on their shoulders. High promises for a prequel. I would give a 9/10 but let's keep lower expectations in order not be disappointed(for further AD&D info, you don't allow a Thief (Arya Stark) to kill the TRUE FINAL BOSS, a Necromancer (Nightking)). Thus, 8/10.

Day Shift (2022)
8/10
8/10 for a very simple reason:
14 August 2022
The movie kept all the Vampire archetypes (Sun/Final Death, sticks, decapitations, garlics). Rarely we see vampire movies which respect the proper universal norms (no sparkling s**t, no day walking - despite they do walk under the Sun in this movie but at least they use an umbrella - reminded the whole body uniforms in Blade III). Recommended for a chill summer movie, nothing more than that. Hope one day we will see the rmaterialization of the World of Darkness (Vampire the Masquerade) on screens.

Ignore the Gen Z's criticism...
14 July 2022
It is not the - superwow - show but it deals with a deadly virus and mega-corporations, which means it passes its own important messages and that's why it bothered many and all these cyber-trolls decided to "attack". A decent effort for this summer. Thus, ignore this spoiled generation's criticism - suddenly ALL became professional analysts regarding TV shows and movies - and enjoy the show. 8/10.

Ignore the..."professional" critics
11 July 2022
The TV show was amazing because simply enough showed the potential connection between the military-industrial complex + nootropics + brain warfare + how much expendables can special forces be in the name of cutting-edge technology. More than obviously, the show "bothered" these decision centers which do not want you to think/analyse, thus all the Cyberspace trolls attacked it by downrating it. Also Chris Pratt built his character appropriately. Bottom-line: ignore the "professionals" and watch it.

...it points towards the direction of CICADA 3301. Like the UFO movie from 2018 with Gillian Anderson dealing with a cosmic CICADA 3301. Do you like riddles, puzzles and cryptography? Then this is a movie for you.

The title of my review says it all. If you are indeed into space-time abnormalities/traveling + ancient Hellenic mythology(?) which intermingles itself with Unknown Mathematical Territories, then THIS is your TV show.

Add wonderful nature landscapes away from the vomiting urban ones and you have a 10/10 TV show.

CAUTION: The specific TV show is only for viewers who think and are not 'sheep'.

Reminds CONTACT when people were gathered in the desert..
26 December 2021
The best political satire of the last 25 years. A satire which late millennials and Gen Z will reject. Why? Because it shows that a whole 'circus' is staged around an imminent disaster like an asteroid impact. It shows the social media charlatans, the TV charlatans but most of all, the POLITICAL CHARLATANS.

It reminds the section of the CONTACT movie, where all the crazy people were gathered in the desert to receive a message from Vega or to pass on their own (to the rest).

The movie is 10/10 because it makes the viewer to THINK. Something rare with today's movies...

Excellent action movie, full in easter eggs...
21 November 2021
Just ignore the negative reviews and enjoy an action movie which has references in many other movies. It manages to avoid an overload of FX something which makes it even more compatible to the viewer's eye. There could be Part II...

MAY 2028...
7 November 2021
...the date that everything begins. If you liked movies like THE ROAD, then you will also like this one. An emotional post-apocalyptic scenario where scientifically speaking, it could be true tomorrow or a 1,000 years from now. Tom Hanks takes the whole project on him with his two robot friends and his dog.

Ignore the negative reviews though; obviously if you are a super-hero movie freak, you will NOT enjoy this one...

Ignore the negative reviews...
23 October 2021
As the title says, ignore the negative reviews and watch the show. The production managed to introduce strong Hitchcock-like vibes in a TV series dealing with an aggressive global alien invasion.

Is it slow at some points? Yes. Do we have an over-analysis of some characters which could be avoided? Definitely yes.

But you will manage to watch the first 3 episodes seeing an alien invasion without any screenshot of the aliens, something which creates an amazing atmosphere, an atmosphere which also have some Cosmic Horror vibes.

If you are a super-hero movie freak, you will downrate it. If you want your neural network to function, watch it.

Full in easter eggs for comic freaks...
9 August 2021
The movie's target group is for comic freaks because it is full in easter eggs dealing with the 9th Art. Corto Maltese, Mafalda are just two simple examples. Scrutinize the movie and find more.

Do not take life and the specific movie seriously; that way, you will enjoy both. Also, ignore the negative reviews; they have their own agenda doing that...

Alien invasion + time travel.

CGI reaching excellent levels.

Simmons at his best (physical appearance and character).

Quick-paced movie.

10/10 for a summer movie (pizza + beer).

The ones who disliked the movie are the ones who adored Fear Street.

Do the math.

Lovecraftian Horror/Cosmic Horror elements
29 June 2021
By far, it is the best sequel in the history of cinematography together with T2: JUDGMENT DAY.

Everything was perfect in this movie; FX, music, atmosphere, dialogues, weapons, concept, you name it. And if you adore even a little bit Lovecraftian Horror/Cosmic Horror, then it is your cup of time...

Quick movie. Excellent director. Elements of noir. Scenario which makes the viewers to think like solving a crossword. Finally Statham in a good movie. The average rate of the movie misjudges it. Must watch.

Why so underated?
13 March 2021
Never understood why some movie titles are so underrated.

The movie is quick, with a video game culture in it, funny, with quantum-mechanics paradoxes, and somehow Grillo managed to support the whole project appropriately.

Also Mel Gibson matured pretty well having some great lines in the movie regarding the horror of Violence and War (reminding Colonel Kurzt).

9/10. It could be 10/10 but it had a clueless ending something it might bother the viewer.
