A FUN FIL TO WATCH
27 April 2021
Unlike several other reviewers who were obviously expecting something Shakespearean based on their negative reviews, I found this film to be be a fun watch. Keaton and Douglas are great as two people who have lost the loves of their lives and don't quite know how to cope and move on. The granddaughter character helps both to see that love can come again, even at a mature age. I have watched this film several times, enjoying it each and every time. Not every film is meant to deliver a deep message, some films are just for pure fun and entertainment. This film is the latter. Watch it and enjoy!

Better Than What Some Are Saying Here
11 August 2019
First off, I love that the focus of this film is on three women who are stronger than their husbands realized. For those who feel that Melissa and Tiffany should stick to comedy, I disagree. Both of these actors showed they can do both, comedy and drama, especially Tiffany who tempered her dramatic performance with a sly wit and just the right amount of attitude. Elizabeth Moss' performance transformaning her character from an abused wife to a bad-a** with a big gun is what one would expect from her - awesome. I would recommend this film - while similar in theme, it is very different from Widows, also a wonderful film with great acting.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS MOVIE!
28 July 2019
If you are of a certain age and still hopeful about life and love, you will love this movie. Shirley MacLaine and Christopher Plummer are perfectly cast and give wonderful performances, especially Shirley. I will not go into the plot or reveal any spoilers but suffice it say that this is the perfect lazy, glass of wine with cheese and fruit Saturday afternoon movie for those of guys of a certain age.

Two Words - Andy Garcia!
18 May 2018
Fun, fun, fun movie - I'm going to see it again. So many laugh-out-loud moments. I would have loved to see more of Candice Bergen (a favorite!) and Richard Dreyfuss. Nevertheless I enjoyed the entire cast, movie and especially the music!
