One Piece: Wan pîsu: Thinking of O-Tama - Luffy's Furious Strike (2021)
Just Be Patient
This episode was basically like the last. Very slow pacing and more build up. Coming from a manga reader, just be patient and wait because once the ball starts rolling, it ain't stopping, so just give it time.
One Piece: Wan pîsu: The Samurai Warriors' Earnestness! The Straw Hats Land at Onigashima (2021)
The Calm Before The Storm
This episode wasn't really that special, but it does a good job of setting up everything in the coming episodes. You can just feel the tension building as we get closer to the battle. All in all, don't take this episode too seriously. It's fun, but also makes you feel a little anxious for what it to come. These next episodes should be absolutely amazing. Super hyped and can't wait.
Loki: Lamentis (2021)
Not Too Bad
Tbh, it was a solid episode. This episode wasn't the greatest, but definitely wasn't the worst. It leans more into the action side of things, but still gives us the amount of story and context that we need for the show. The best and most refreshing part about this episode was the dynamic of both Loki's. We get to see them not only fight physically, but mentally as well. And it really is interesting to watch both of their ideals and morals clash together with each other. Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino shine in this episode. Overall good episode, can't wait for the next.
Army of the Dead (2021)
EXACTLY WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE
If you walk into this movie expecting an Oscar winner, you deserve to be let down. This movie doesn't take itself seriously, so you shouldn't either. This movie is exactly what it's supposed to be. A summer blockbuster, action packed, corny joked, and ridiculous plotted movie. The action is great, the zombies are interesting, and the CGI is good. That's all there is to it. Don't watch this movie nitpicking every little detail, just watch and enjoy the explosions or you'll just be wasting your time.
One Piece: Wan pîsu: Blades Crossed! Roger and Whitebeard! (2021)
Just... WOW...
After 965 episodes and 22 long years of this anime, we got a chance to finally witness Roger in combat and it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT. The first 17 minutes of the episode gives us a good sense of Orochi's backstory and just how far he'll go to achieve his vengeance, then the last 4 minutes is purely for epic spectacle. We see just how intimidating and powerful Gol D. Roger truly is by him swiping Oden away as if he is a novice to battle and then getting to see the Haki showdown between him and Whitebeard. Toei has truly revived this anime with their style of animation and I am extremely excited to watch all of the upcoming fights. Very pumped and hyped for the future of the One Piece Anime.
Yakusoku no Neverland (2019)
One of the best anime's of 2019, hands down
This show is a GREAT watch. Character development, story telling, voice acting, plot twists, animation, and other things were very well done. I think my favorite part of this entire season was the uncertainty of it. You won't know what will happen, until it happens and I must applaud this anime for that. Not many can pull it off. I highly recommend this anime for anyone who is in need of a great watch. The only negative thing is we all have to wait until October 2020 to see the next season. Can't wait.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019)
This review is for the campaign only, NOTHING ELSE
Wow. Just wow. All I can say. The storytelling, the grit, the darkness, the graphics, the sounds, and most importantly, the REALISM of this campaign is astonishing. They really outdid themselves with this one. This campaign puts you in other people's shoes with different deadly situations. This campaign makes you make decisions quickly or it will decide for you. Some things in this game is the dark hard truth about what happens in real life. This campaign doesn't care what anyone says, doesn't care what the critics are going to say, and doesn't care about sympathy. It gives us, the players, a kind of understanding of what real soldiers and victims, of these things, go through. Well done Infinity Ward, well done.
Hagane no renkinjutsushi (2009)
For your own sake, WATCH THE DAMN SHOW
It's been 10 years since this anime came out and a lot of great anime's have come and gone in those 10 years. But still, to this day, there hasn't been an anime yet that has beat FMAB. The only ones that come close, from the top of my head, are Hunter X Hunter, Attack On Titan, Naruto, and One Piece. Other than that, this is the best anime I have ever watched.
Game of Thrones (2011)
To Keep It Short
S1 - S5 = Absolute Masterpiece, best show EVER
S6 = Top tier, but a little slow and raggedy
S7 = Overall below average season, writing starts to go downhill, but I have seen worse
S8 = Absolute disaster, too many plot holes, and a rushed finale
For the last two seasons, they should've given us all 10 episodes to play everything out. OR should have just given us another season. Character arcs were a bit rushed and too many questions in the end. Hated seeing one of my favorite shows go down in flames.
