Charlie Victor Romeo (2013)
Watching paint dry would be more interesting
Wow, this is so stupid where do I begin. It's NOT a documentary. It's a couple guys sitting behind a table acting out a skit of a couple pilots flying a plane talking about nothing interesting. I love Air Crash Investigations and Mayday. This is NOTHING like those shows. This is like a really boring low budget play.
The Innocent Man (2018)
Slow, boring and the music is PAINFULLY HORRIBLE
Wow, this show is so confusing, it's near impossible to follow because they jump around from different people and different subjects. The hillbilly music just adds to the misery of this show. I loved Making a Murderer. This show is nothing like Making a Murderer. I've turned it off several times out of boredom but I keep trying to come back to it since others have given it good reviews but I just can't follow this mess. And, they spend so much time on irrelevant information. I'm on episode 3 and I won't be watching any more. That was 3 wasted hours of my life.
I'm guessing this show is about some guilty guy who saw the success of Making a Murderer and thought they'd try to copy that show to see if anyone would believe this guy was also innocent.
The Handmaid's Tale (2017)
I'd rate this as 10stars BUT......
My only two criticisms of this show are. 1-It moves too slow. Sometimes you waste an entire minute or two watching someone walk from one side of the room to the other. 2-I feel bad saying this but the main character played by Elizabeth Moss is not easy too look at. Would have been better with a prettier actress.
Other than that I think it's really good, suspenseful and thought provoking. Worth watching for sure.
Shameless (2011)
Would have given a much higher rating, but......
I was absolutely LOVING this show until Season 8 then I absolutely HATED it. Even though the show has A LOT of nudity and sex scenes which I could have lived without, I just fast forwarded through most of that BUT when season 8 shows people worshiping Ian as "Gay Jesus", and chanting absolutely disgusting things about Jesus & God, that was it for me, I had to quit watching. I'm not a religious nut or anything but it was just beyond anything I think a normal person would be ok with. I give Seasons 1-7 nine stars (would be 10 but it's way over the top on the nudity & sex scenes), and I give Season 8 zero stars. If they would have made the same references about Muhammed or Allah, it would have started a holy war!
When I started watching the show, the very first episode I found more sad than funny because the father punches his you teenage son in the face (not too funny). But my friend urged me to stick with it and I'm glad I did because it did end up being a very funny show in a dark-comedy way.
Dark Legacy (2009)
Most absurd show ever
I was going to say this was the most ridiculous documentary I've ever seen but you can't call this show a documentary, its more like a comedy based on the most ridiculous assumptions. If you're looking for a good laugh, this is your show, if you are looking for unbiased truths, you won't find them here.
Shot in the Dark (2017)
Loved it!
It's about video journalists that race to emergencies to be the first to get the footage and sell it to TV stations. Very interesting with lots of intense footage. I never knew these guys existed, guess I always assumed it was the TV stations getting the footage.
I hope they add more episodes soon, I'm addicted to this show.
Secrets of the Dead: JFK: One PM Central Standard Time (2013)
Don't waste your time
The description made me think this show was about what happened behind the scenes at the news agencies the day JFK died. It wasn't that at all! It's like a biography and tribute of Walter Crochite. So boring I didn't finish the episode. They should rename this show The Life And Times of Walter Cronchite.
The Ricky Gervais Show (2010)
So so funny, love it!!!!!
This show had me laughing so hard tears were rolling down my face. I'd go so far as to say this is probably the funniest show I've ever seen, even funnier than Seinfeld, I Love Lucy and Sunny in Philadelphia.
This show was made from a podcast but then they added the animation which makes it way funnier. I watch it over and over, makes me laugh every time.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005)
Seasons 1-6 BEST SHOW EVER
I would have given 10 stars rather than 9 if they had ended after season 6, it really went downhill since then. The 1st 6 seasons are so consistently funny - better than even Seinfeld. Every character is great in their own way. And I love how Crickets character gets more deplorable with each season. My favorite episodes were Dennis and Dee go on Welfare and Gang gives Frank Intervention.
Disjointed (2017)
All you can hear is audience laughter very few seconds
The show looks to be pretty funny. I got through the 1st episode and I liked the show itself but the constant audience laughter makes it unwatchable. Netflix ruined The Ranch the same way. I didn't even get through half of the first episode before I had to turn that off. Why would Netflix do that? They take what appears to be good shows and make them unwatchable by adding all the constant fake laughter, it's so distracting I can't hear the show.
God's Not Dead (2014)
Such an awesome movie
Such a true depiction of our world today. Liberal colleges with Anti-God teachers. If you feel the movie is a bit slow at the beginning, stick with it, the end is worth the wait. So inspirational. I watched it on TV but then bought the DVD so I could pass it around for others to watch. Loved seeing Willie and Korie Robertson in it.
Dark Night (2016)
Watching paint dry would be more interesting
Is this film a joke? The camera shows random people doing the most boring tasks like sitting on a couch in silence, and that goes on for several minutes then cuts to someone else doing absolutely nothing. I don't even know what this is supposed to be about. It's as if you give a video camera to the most boring person in the world and ask them to film other boring people doing boring things.
Beware the Slenderman (2016)
Not enough about the girls
I was disappointed with this documentary. I wanted to learn what happened with the girls who stabbed their friend but way too much of the documentary was about Slenderman, luckily I could fast forward through all those parts. If they removed all the stuff about Slenderman I would have given this a much higher rating.
The Imposter (2012)
Wow! Such a crazy story - a must see
I was glued to my seat the entire time. Just when you think the story can't get any crazier, it does. The family is very "white trash" which may be part of the reason it didn't get media coverage. I highly recommend this documentary, very engrossing. As I watched, I kept thinking, "I can't believe that really happened".
77 Minutes (2016)
Really Good and Really Bad
I would have given this documentary a really high rating but they absolutely tried to put the blame on law enforcement rather than the gun man. I finally turned it off, it was disgusting how the interviewer tried to make it sound like it was the police officers did something wrong. Shameful. Because of how much the film maker tried to get the audience to blame the police, I DO NOT recommend watching this. It is a story that needs to be told but not by this obviously biased filmmaker.
