Raksha Bandhan (I) (2022)

Same old Akshay Kumar expressions, same old cliche, same old unbearable acting of Akshay Kumar which he hasn't learnt in 32 years. Terrible movie no character development, no emotional connect with the lead actors because of their inability to act. Bollywood need good old actors back. These so actresses and actors of today who come to Bollywood because of huge financial backing and nepotism are only taking Bollywood to its downfall. A seriously terrible bore fest of a movie, wasted my two and half hours on this mess.

Very close to perfection
20 October 2020
Great animated film though it could have added some dialogues between the virus monster and earth. One other short animated film that I can recall being so good was 'Balance'. Checkovid is very imaginative and gripping. Overall a very different approach to showcase the global situation in 2020. A solid 8!

The real Jungle Book
13 May 2020
This is by far the best anime from 1980s. Japanese are very creative when it comes to anime and manga, it's commendable how they worked on the story arks. The art, the visuals, music, everything is just perfect. The good old stories with morals being the centre point. No wonder moral values were important back in the good days. I like the Disney versions as well but this was my first Jungle Book, so this has a special place in my heart.

Another jingoistic flop
22 March 2019
The movie is nothing more than cashing on an important event in the history of India. We can not forget the sacrifice of the brave men who fought against the afghans, they will always be remembered for their acts. However, the movie is just plain boring. This is not the age where viewers want to hear same old cliche dialogues with over jingoistic tones. There is nothing in the movie, only village and tier 3 population of India will like it.

Top political movie!
11 January 2019
I m not a BJP bhakt boy not I am a congress supporter. I want my countrmen to grow up, I want them to evolve into mature individuals and come out of the boundaries they have created for themselves in terms of religion, politics, racism and corruption. The movie portrays how easy it is to fool the citizens of India. How a political party can make vast universe of money from its citizens. The best part of the movie is Akshaye Khanna.. This actor is just amazing. He is always great in whatever role he chooses. Akshay Khanna is the souls of this movie. Anupam Kher has lost his acting abilities which were once good. He is predictable, cliche, and his usual self. The makeup made him look like Manmohan Singh but that's it. He failed to portray Manmohan Singh. The walk looked like a robotic walk, Dr. Manmohan Singh never walked like this, he never had a speech so low on confidence. He was the most educated prime Minister in the world once and the man was seriously highly educated, Anupam Kher just couldn't portray the man. The movie is good for the humor it delivers and for Akshay Khanna. Go watch it, such political movies don't get released every now and then.

False propaganda
11 January 2019
These government backed filmmakers think they can fool the Indian audience at ease. Yes they are able to do that quite often because Indians often believe what they see and what they are told. They believe what the propaganda suggests. The movie is a boring cliche full of done to death sequences which we have seen before in so many war movies in the past. Not sure who are these who are calling it a masterpiece, have they not seen any good war movies lately? Vicky Kaushal was okay but rest of the actors were pathetic.. This false jingoism doesn't impress one bit. Showing patriotism and love for the nation is fine, but when you force jingoism on the audience in order to earn money at the box office you are not doing anything different. The movie is a total disappointment. 1 out of 10. Only those will like the movie who have not watched any good Hollywood realistic war movies.

Wannabe good
21 December 2018
Another wannabe intelligent movie which falls short. Shahrukh should stick to the romance he is known for though age now don't help him in that. This is an ordinary movie which will be liked by SRK fans, nothing else. I wasted my money watching this expecting SRK has matured as an actor but he hasn't. One out of ten. Honest review among lots of paid reviews.

Great sci-fi, not for unimaginative stereotypes
25 November 2018
It's brilliant, great concept. Great cinematography, beautiful visuals, great vfx most of the times (average in some scenes), cool guns, cool rovers. The show is not for unimaginative stereotype people who go into watching something with a circle of thoughts they can't move outside of. This is sci-fi not a drama. I didn't like the acting by most of the teenagers, didn't look much convincing but overall the show tried something which has never been done on TV. Being a PG show somehow went in the way of it being the perfect show. It's an alternate universe and they didn't actually knew which Era or time period they were going to when they first found the portal. This is something a lot of self proclaimed science experts didn't understand, they are saying what's the need of going back 85 million years back, well they didn't have the option to go to any period they like to. The portal was one and it was to 85 Mya. Obviously 20 million years later there would be the asteroid impact but they still had 20 million years to prepare for that. As humans we are not even 1.5 million years old. The moon scene and its math at the end of the pilot was over the top but I won't mind a bit of that. Overall great show for dinosaue fans as well though thr were fictitious dinosaurs but there were thousands of dinosaur species humans are not aware of, so doesn't bother me if they had some creative freedom on fictitious dinosaurs. To add, Steven Lange was brilliant, exceptional.. Perfect choice for the role. A solid 9!!

Another jingoistic Bollywood movie
17 November 2018
More of jingoism, more show less brains. The direction is extremely poor and the director surely thinks Bollywood has extremely mindless audience. The movie is not 10% of how smart it tries to look. The American intelligence has been shown to be so dumb that it's laughable. Bollywood and John Abraham the good for nothing actor, need to grow. Stop making these no brainers and publicise them as 'movies with content'. Only dimbe audience think it to be a smart movie.

The man who changed Cricket (2017 TV Movie)

Gripping, intense but slow
18 October 2018
The movie was great, excellent rare footage of WSC, all great players, nostalgic montages. A great Cricket documentary that takes you back to 70s and 80s when Cricket was the sport of brave men. There should be more documentaries like these.

Nostalgic
18 October 2018
The documentary laid emphasis on creating an atmosphere as if you are reliving the glorious golden age cricket days. South African cricket has a proud history and it was great watching the legends in action. The background score is gripping. The only loophole was lack of historical footage.

VINOD KHANNA the hunk!
21 July 2017
Brilliant movie, trend setter for the future movies to follow. It was a huge blockbuster and had two of the biggest superstars who were ruling the box-office at that time. Amitabh and Vinod. Great performances by Shammi Kapoor, Kadar Khan and the rest of the cast. Nitu Singh and Shabana were good as well, however the one who stood out was Vinod Khanna. His role was more important than Amitabh's. Amitabh's role had just one shade into it, Vinod had to change the shades and emotions as the movie runs to the climax, he surely portrayed it meticulously. The grey shades in his role were captured by him perfectly. His screen presence, his persona, his acting, he really gave Amitabh a tough time. He was a trend setter and an icon which he proved in this movie. The movie rocked, surely some scenes look dated now but that is because of the fact that they have been copied over and over again by other movies in the last 40 years.
