Summer Camp Island (2018–2023)
8/10
Summer Camp Island
7 July 2018
I was pleasantly suprised by Summer Camp Island, While the Pilot it was based on was pretty ho hum, feeling more like a mid-season episode more than a pilot, the episodes I watched during the series premiere marathon were genuinely enjoyable . The animation has stepped up since the pilot which wasn't bad but defiantly unusual, the Character designs are a bit odd ball-ish at first though after a decent amount of episodes you'll get use to them. Summer camp island is just full of charm, the pacing is nice and fluid, the music is easy going, humor is solid, characters are enjoyable though Oscar, Hedgehog and Susie clearly get more screen-time than the other campers and Witches, But their likable. The show was made by a show runner on Adventure Time {Julia Pott} as well as a handful of others who worked on the show and it clearly shows with the vibrant backgrounds , the delightfully weird and made up stuff and humor. Any down sides I can think of is that the camp counselor "Susie" can be a Bit of a "Tsundere" Jerk Archetype which rarely hit home for me but she's kept to a tolerable level. I'm looking forward to more fun in the sun with the kids on Summer camp island.

Apple & Onion (2016–2021)
7/10
CN's 3rd original miniseries
27 May 2018
After Over the Garden wall Cartoon Network Was on a pseudo Mini-series High, They gave Adventure Time 3 which were all pretty great, Long live the Royals which was meh and I think TTG got one about being stuck on an island but no one cared about that, Even adult swim made a new season of Samurai Jack. But them comes Apple and Onion, A&O wasn't a pilot I was actively Rooting for but it was fun. I was surprised when it was part of the upfront and confused when it was stated as a mini-series. When watching A&O I say it's like a Regular show setting with the humor and feel of Clarence, the plots put the characters in situations akin to Regular show (especially when the characters do their jingles) but the humor goes for the light heated tone of Clarence. It's a decent watch but the problem is the shows length, only 10 episodes with 1 pilot, and 10 mini-sodes. The show makes it feel like a weekly comedy duo show like regular show, but since it's a mini-series I was expecting something a little more. I mean I'm not expecting the same emotion or depth as OTGW or AT but at least it stuck with me more than Long live the royals. It's funny, the jingles are nice but it doesn't leave you wanting more per say, but I do think if the show would have gone on it would have improved like the other CN shows of this era have done. I's still a good show but I'm just left wonder when CN would ever air or bring this one up again out side of an anniversary of the network or something to buy on Itunes. I guess it's experimentation it see if the mini-series does better in ratings but at least what we got was good. It's not amazing but it's a quality show.

Adventure Time: Breezy (2014)
Season 6, Episode 6

Was The Episode Bad, or Finn regaining his arm to early bad?
2 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I love Adventure Time it's one of my favorite Cartoons ever, but I will say it's not Perfect. A lot of criticism for this Episode is that Finn gets his Arm back too early, and a longer arc dealing with his emotion after the ordeal with his father and his loss limb. True but we already got an arc for him With his Break up with Flame Princess with episodes like Love Games & Dungeon Train. And the episode The Tower & The Visitor show's us Finn just moves on from the fact that his Father isn't a hero like him and instead of focusing on meaningless revenge and matures. Also when he does get his Arm back we see their is a Thorn on it indicating That their more to this arm than meets the eye. It's not like Finn to just mope around, And Giving the Fact their was going to be a T. V Movie that would have been like the 3 Mini-series we got later, However for the T. V movie had complications in Production and was compressed into the Episode Something Big. So I can understand Fans Calling BS over the New Arm but Just honestly this just one Botch plot-line isn't enough to ruin such a Great show. Breezy more so just pushed the stone into motion for the Finn-sword, Grass-Sword fusion that was the Character Fern. And As for the Episode itself it's good, a Bee helps Finn get his groove back into the dating scene, and tries to see if they can be more than Friends. Like I said It's better not to have Finn moping about.

Powerpuff Girls Z (2006–2007)
10/10
Magical Puff Girls
29 March 2018
This is sort of an oddball little gem among the fan base, PPGZ may seem like an unofficial fan film, but it not as bad as people make it out to be. It has it's own heart to it's story telling and while it does go against some cannon it doesn't feel cheap or half bake. The Magical Girl take on the Power-Puffs is already a fun idea and the more cartoony art style is a nice addition to the show's flare, the slice of life moments are nice and over all it's an insetting spin-off. But here's how I think It can be improved. Do what they Did with Ghost Stories but with The Power-Puff Girls Z, it be funny to see them squeeze in more jokes for an american audience and make it more welcoming to viewers unfamiliar with anime tropes and themes. It would also be done by the american voice cast, oddly enough the Current English dub was done by the ocean Group it was aired only on Cartoon Network Philippians for some reason. Overall it's worth checking out if your interested. Way better than just a 5 rating.

Apple and onion
23 February 2018
Well Apple and Onion has arrived and I'm liking it so far. The show is similar to Clarence and Regular show (I'm pretty sure now a days people are gonna get into a habit of comparing new shows to prior programming) Regular show because it stars a duo who often go into rhyming tunes and Clarence for the low key atmosphere of the show. Apple and Onion kinda has that feeling where you can feel that it could have been marketed as a PBS or Nick JR show if it had a different team kinda like Harvey Beaks did, but just Like Harvey the show holds it's own as a down to earth show anyone of any age can sit down and enjoy. One thing I kinda don't understand is how Apple and Onion act pretty similar to each other, usually a duo works best when their opposites of each other like An upbeat on and a Cynical on (they also had a perfect example Apples being sweet and Onions being bitter) it doesn't ruin the show in anyway and it's pretty similar to Regular show with Mordcai and Rigby where they were kinda the same as well, with some differences from each other and maybe later the opposites of A&O with be shown over time .The Humors good, the tunes are neat and mellow, writing is well done but their are somethings I feel they could improve, while they haven't bothered me yet I hope the Tunes the Characters sing don't take a hostile over the show and feel the need to squeeze in a 3 minute song every episode, the art as well I feel could have used a slight adjustment form the pilot but for the type of show this is the budget and animation style wouldn't greatly change or improve the show much like the animation is Clarence, if the show was more action packed like OK K.O or Adventure Time then a more sleek style would be reasonable, also the world they live in is populated by living food and they casually eat food, sure "Don't think too much about it" and Cartoon Logic and all but is it that hard to just have the food in their world like they did in Chowder. Overall I'm looking forward to seeing more fun-filled episodes with these two, Hopefully Vishnu Athreya will straighten up his Scheduling habits and Give this as well as other CN shows the Screen time they have been robbed from by Teen Titans Go!

Animated Atrocities (2013– )

Come for the Criticism, leave right away.
26 January 2018
I'm not gonna criticizes that fact that he's reviewing cartoons because their is always going to be an audience of cartoon Fans that need a reviewer. He does criticizes well and not every review show needs to be hilarious like Nostalgia critic or Peanut butter Gamer or even need to be labeled as a comedy and think that turns away people but the real issue is the execution & style of his reviews. The way he reviews Cartoons is to pick an Episode and rip it apart like most reviewers tend to do, but where in most cases reviews would make jokes he just yell's about what the show or episode does wrong and little else and honestly considering how many episodes their are of this style of review it baffles me just how people can keep watching this. You know how people complain about lazy content creators like Cow-belly of Comment awards and Watch Mojo? Well imagine that only it's a guy yelling about the Cartoon industry, well he doesn't completely crucify it their is the Admirable Animation side series & I heard him say the reason he reviews instead of good show's is because it's easier and that he wants to take the time for Every Admirable episode. True it's easier to rip-off and make fun of something bad than something actually good but his admirable's aren't much better just kinda bare bones reviews. Again I'm not asking for a funny reviewer but they Thing is I think the Anger is just a gimmick to keep the audience watching in-fact in his review of Pet sitter pat when Patrick pulls out the flamethrower I can hear him almost break character and hold back a laugh. It's been a long time since he first uploaded and his content has barely improved with over 140 episodes (give or take his series of good reviews and other list) and sure their are times when he tries to make a joke or humorous but it doesn't really hit. Over all the Cartoon Community on YouTube is one a lot of people really don't have a lot of good to say about and it started with his reviews. So yea I'd just skim through some written reviews online instead of watching one of his videos.

Unikitty! (2017–2020)
4/10
Nothing special
18 January 2018
When I heard the promo's directly state it was made by the crew involved with Teen Titans Go I really had my doubts. The other Lego Cartoons are 3D animated and are more action packed, and have a world to expanded and build. While this one does have it's own world inspirations from TTG are very apparent. The art and flash art style is near identical as well as the pacing and humor. The Characters are a mix for me I like Puppycorn as the upbeat lovable loser kid and DR.Fox is pretty funny. Crocdile is basically Copy and Paste Cyborg from TTG and Unikitty herself is copy and Paste Pinkie Pie from MLP which true that was intentional for her in the Lego Movie but she now has the quirk of bursting out into a fiery Tantrum every time she gets angry and that get's old very quick. I know She is voiced By Tara Strong but honestly I can only see why they chose her is because she has a lot of fans from her other many voice roles and I find that pretty manipulative from a marking stand point. The art is cute but the bright colors should be toned down. Fast paced, hi-jinks filled antics style of humor is funny for the most part but after a few episodes it get's same old a few episodes in. Over all if you like that's fine it's just that Warner Bro's animation has been pushing a show with clear inspiration form TTG and I really don't think a good Version of TTG or just a show that does the formula well is something that the animation industry should learn considering the success and drama Teen Titans go brought.

Good Choice Boomerang
17 January 2018
Wacky Races isn't the most Popular of the Hanna Barbera line up but Wacky Races is A good Reboot if Boomerang Decides to do more with other's like Yogi bear or Wally Gator. The Art is pretty sleek and well done, the racing id fun and creative, humor and slap stick isn't bad either as well as the voice work it's well done. The Wacky Races formula is one anyone can sit down for an have a good laugh when they just want to unwind with a funny show. You can watch clips of it on Boomerangs UK YouTube Channel before starting your Free trial on Their Website.

Teen Titans Go! (2013– )
1/10
Not the Worst thing Ever, but we have to treat it as such.
6 January 2018
TTG has become a success in ratings for CN, Kids just love TTG but unfortunately it has over shadowed other shows. TTG is something rare to happen to a show like the Teen Titans, if it were Scooby doo, Justice League, Ninja Turtles, Avengers, Transformers or any sort of set of characters that everyone's use to seeing again and again for every generation and having a show with a new coat of paint for every new audience can be good, the way it was executed was poor. Teen Titans is not a huge name it was a gem in 2003 that grew a cult fan base over time, likable characters, intense plot lines, a unique and sleek art style, great chemistry between characters and genuinely funny moments at appropriate times. Sadly Action cartoons have become few and far between especially on cable TV and when DC & Warner Bros were looking for new martial to work with for an 11-minutes run time like most shows were at the time (Adventure Time, Regular Show, SpongeBob, Wander Over Yonder) Out of Plastic man, Super Best Friends, super pets and all sorts of others like Vibe and the Sword of Atom and princess amethyst mini shorts, they choose the New Teen Titans shorts Which those Shorts were funny and well done, they only worked because they were a nod to the Teen Titans they Were a sign to the fan's saying "Hey, remember these guy's? We know". TTG could have been a decent show or at least an little filler cartoon in between cartoon of another show, but the show-Runner's they chooses were not very talented and likable people. They even stated in an interview that they have only seen a few episodes before. I feel that TTG is a big reason the Cartoon community Has grown so cancerous, it insults the original from time to time, the creators even stated once that they made the show bad on purpose on social media. Saying you made the show crap is a horrible thing to do but considering how bad some fans can get I can understand some of it (Their still jerks for doing so but consider how much hate they get daily). Not to mention the shows success with the air time of it being quite frequent, I know Cartoon Network has a better scheduling in other countries but it is an american Company so what's popular influences whats to be, and when american CN suffers it can make the foreign divisions of CN suffer, shows like the New Ben 10 and Cloudy with a chance of meatballs all trying to make the same cash grab that TTG did and that really hurt the channel in that year and next year was pretty much the year of TTG with a couple of day long marathons scattered across the months. I"m not sure why the people in charge of scheduling at CN do this but, I'm not someone who really bitches about scheduling on live TV, I usually watch TV when New episodes are on or special marathons, most I watch it online but all things considering I'll catch anything that's not TTG when I can. I think the biggest problem most have with the Scheduling is that TTG is always getting Money from that & there for getting money for more seasons. and last year word of a movie was announced. Thank god the Lego Ninjago movie was the true 2nd movie after the PPG's movies to be based on a CN show. Now TTG does have some good to it their are Easter eggs galore, it does have some good color scheming to it the colors pop that's nice, and it does get good episodes, 40% 40% 20%, Girls night Out, The Night begins to shine mini series the PowerPuff Girls Crossover and a couple more like the Christmas ones. But for the most part the Show is bad, dumb jokes, potty humor, Pony references, some bad morals cheap animation and Beast Boy is really annoying. Greg is really bad playing his part he get's way too into character and his character is an annoying little brat and Terry doesn't even sound like Raven form the Original show. The others are fine, not sure why it's just those two who sound so off but whatever. I also want to mention that they do kinda sexulaize Raven here and their and it's really bad some of the worst episodes involve Raven and the amount of Smut art I had the displeasure of taking a 0.01 second glance at can proven it. Sure it's not the worst cartoon ever there way worse out their like San-jay and Craig and Problem Solvers and their are a decent group of people who like it as a guilt please or even a So bad it's good show and I can see where their coming from I have that exact same thing with the new PowerPuff Girls. Despite a lot of Crap it get's Their are good episodes and even mediocre ones can get some moments or ideas that I can get enjoyment from like Princess MoreBucks becoming poor, the Professor hosting a book Club, a 4th PowerPuff, lake monster hunting,I don't see it with TTG but I can understand that their is some novelty to seeing some off the wall crazy antics with characters like these it just doesn't work fully well as a cartoon show, although there is a audience for TTG more show. But that success has really done a number on the Channel, I guarantee you CN would have a much longer golden period it DC just went with Plastic man instead, sure their is the argument not every cartoon needs a big Story Like Adventure Time or Gravity Falls and it should just be a Fun little Comedy to enjoy whenever it's on, and to that I say Yes! there should exist Cartoons that do that as well with ones that have big stories. Shows like Clarence, Gumball and Harvey Beaks show that Simple little Comedy Cartoons can still be as engaging and memorable has something like Steven Universe or Gravity Falls. But Lets compare TTG to Uncle Grandpa, UG like it or hate it, it was someone's Idea they wanted and had the chance to make, it was the Work of Peter Browgardt and the Crew he worked with to make UG has off the wall wackiness as they could make in their own way it from Start to end. TTG however was something that was made because DC needed a show and with a small budget it couldn't live up to the likes of the later released Justice League Action so they just made a bunch of dumb plot lines and jokes knowing full well that people would hate it no matter what, with barely any semblance of the charm, tone or thought for any innovation of the original show. I can't really blame them too much if they were forced into it and didn't want to loose their positions Warner animation, season 1 wasn't as bad as the rest of the show but as they made bank from the kids who love it the show really went down hill say for the previously mentioned good episodes, I feel that when you work on a show like teen Titans go you should at least try with some special episodes and some members might just want to do their own thing for some episodes which led to the good one . Teen Titans Go to the Movies is a movie I hope is good, but won I hope bombs financially. I'm tired of the Rants, the marathons, the drama and the show, I want the original Teen Titans to return on Cartoon Network, I want the show to flourish and path the way for show to be inspired by it, I want other Good Reboots and I want the see audiences old and new flock to whatever the True Sequel is to the Teen Titans not even batting an eye at TTG.

Really over-praised Cartoon Network show
23 December 2017
Foster's Home For imaginary Friends has a cool premise for a Cartoon, Imaginary Friends have a foster home to look for kids who really need a friend when they need to leave their original owner. The "House of Bloo's" Movie pilot was really good and the First couple of Episodes were pretty funny. Sadly though it really goes down hill from the first season and that is all because of Bloo. Bloo in the pilot and first season was pretty much just Mack with a little more Snark, I understand that he was too similar to Mack to begin with but the way they retooled him was for the worse. Bloo was to be those Love-able jerks but he really isn't lovable, He's just straight up a sarcastic, immature punk. It's not like in Ed, Edd 'n Eddy where when a character get's whats coming to them it's hilarious because with the Ed Trio it's slapstick it's supposed to be over the top and painful, Fosters pay off however is predictable and not very satisfying. The rest of the cast is good Like Wilt who is so overly nice you wish he was in a better Show, & CooCoo who is bizarrely hilarious at times, though characters like Frankie and Mack are pretty bland and Cheese who is just Pandering. Not too mention the other huge thing that Bothers me is the run-time, the first season kept it short to two 11 segments for each episode but then the plots take up 22 minutes. 22 minutes cartoons should be for Action cartoons Like Generator Rex or Justice League not for Comedies, It's better to keep the run time short for comedic cartoons becuse it slows down the past of the comedy. Cartoons like Looney Tunes & Tom and Jerry were usually only 7-8 minutes long, even if a Cartoon need to be an exact time shows like Power Puff Girls and Camp Lazlo which were airing at the same time as this was knew to keep it short and Sweet with 11 minutes even to day's shows Gumball, We Bare Bears and K.O kept it fun sized so it doesn't over stay it's welcome. Their are good Episodes like the One where Coo Coo goes on a world tour, the Good Wilt hunting Special and a couple other's, but as you would guess they have little screen Time of Bloo. This is one I only recommend if your a big fan of the creators.

Another Wretched Review Show
18 December 2017
In the Early Days of these show It was about this Dog who was supposed to be a retired old time slap stick Cartoon Character looking at the cartoons of the modern day. Of course they were mostly negative but that was the point, though the like to dislike ratio really shows that people didn't take that it was a joke, so the creator crammed in a cat, who was not funny, and was clearly only made so that people could watch an actual review. The Idea of Cartoons reviewing cartoons is funny a cynical one and an upbeat one, but they way it's executed just ins't funny at all. There's only one review where the duo are together and it's the Wreck it Ralph review, 85% of the other's there alone and the banter from that one review is something that could be really funny to see ever episode or at least most of them. What I figure is that the creator should make a new character separate from the other two, have the banter with the two in one show, and a while after that episode post a real thoughts with the new character. As it is now the Cats review is the only reason to watch but the dog is just not funny. Not that it matters now the Cartoon Community is just cancer at this point.

Why all they un-needed hate?
14 December 2017
It's not that bad guys! Seriously So many people are just hatting on it just for the art alone, of course the original animation style would be much more preferred but the art here is not bad at all. I guess Cartoon Network just liked the Style and wanted to work with that artist is some way or another and this special is what they figured was best. The special itself isn't anything amazing but it is not at all worth all the hate. It's just like an actual episode of the show. It has some great moments but overall nothing will blow you away but It's worth checking out. It literally like an episode script was just sitting around and it was the the PPG 15th anniversary so along with an App game this special was made. My only real complaint is that maybe they could have modernized the script a little bit more and some more Villain cameo's.
