Shingeki no Kyojin: From You, 2000 Years Ago (2022)
Isayama is not human at all
I don't remember any body of work leaving me with so many emotions as this series, it's pretty much the anime of the century, thank God I live in a world where someone has the guts to tell a story like this one.
Barry: ronny/lily (2019)
Ummm....WHAT?!
One of the most unique episodes in television history, on breaking bad level, Bill Hader and Alec Berg are not wasting any time in this series, absolutely fantastic, enjoyed every second of it from start to finish.
Mahô shôjo Madoka magika: Puella Magi Madoka Magica (2011)
Absolute insanity.
An anime series made with exceptional skill, animation and storyline to make your heart and soul ring. DO NOT get fooled for the first 2 episodes, because this anime is top tier, up there with the likes Neon Genesis Evangelion and Fullmetal Alchemist. In all honesty, where do I even start with this amazing series? I'm not going to spoil anything rather than watching the first 3 episodes to get completely hooked up with this masterpiece, what's intriguing about this series is that you don't even have to be an anime fan to enjoy this series, and it takes some real talent to do something like that. It is also an amazing exploration of the female youth and feminism, and the emotional impact of friendship and love in womanhood, I strongly recommend women to watch this anime because of all the reasons mentioned above, and if you're a guy, some the subjects this series touches are very difficult to digest IF you dont see women as human beings but rather as objects you can rid off anytime you want. If you have struggled with the likes of loneliness, existential crisis or depression, I strongly recommend to digest this series as something to get off your chest and not follow the steps that some of the characters of this series, please be mature enough to understand that. Lastly I just wanna thank the Universe, God, etc, for being able to experience this anime, and also thank them for living in a world where someone as has the guts to make a series like this one.
10/10
Sonic Boom: Counter Productive (2015)
Homer's Enemy vibes.
If you watched a episode of The Simpsons called "Homer's Enemy", you might of what socialism really means. Knuckles tries to redeem himself when he tries to help a friend he once hurt, now that friend has finally got his life together by having a wife a full time job. Knuckles in this show is Homer and the friend knuckles is trying to help is the iconic background character Frankie Grimes. But this is not only original in its own way but it really teach you that there are some things that cannot be repaired or be changed, because the damage that you made back then cannot be erased. This episode teaches the audience at a very young age that some people move on with their lives, no matter how damaged they were.
This show is what Teen Titans GO! Thinks it is.
Sonic Boom (2014)
Slowly gaining a cult following.
Being a teenage adult its really hard to make me laugh as a TV veteran, but this show really caught me off guard. I was interested in watching this show when I saw on Twitter a clip of Knuckles destroying some of the feminists arguments stating that it breaks the "status quo", then I wondered how is this a kids show. Then I started watching the 1st season and I don't laughing at a kids show since The Avatar, the writting in this is just pure genius, the maturity of the jokes are insane, this show is so good that the only flaw I see on the show is the the animation that looks really cheap. But aside of that, this "kids show" is flawless. It's easily along with the Incredible world of Gumball the most self-aware show on the world. Im really looking forward for the 3rd season.
