Ok if you loved the low budget like me this is going to chock a lot. But this is a funny show a bit hollywoodian . Stories so far still the same maestro has been heavily criticized I don't understand why, for the actor is pretty good.

The charisma of the villain is brillant.

It's all over again the prob of Jodie Whitaker! It's new it's in the way of the time.

It's just like only conservatives are writing the comment.. but really guys! Give him a chance!

I think that he is giving a young vibe! Move with the flow guys!

Christopher in 2005 gave a new as well! Jodie Whitaker please stop being so .... The doctor is an eccentric who is l living out of the box..

Regardless of what the director said in the trivia. That seems a lot like a Mr Ridley especially the French version duel au soleil, with alain Delon and Maurice Ronet.

Decadent and on the edge in between the two male characters.

What is missing is the link between the audience and Oliver. Impossible to relate except when he is lying about his background.

And the Farleig character is difficult to understand for his the jerk but he also see through ... A little too hollow for my taste I put a 6 because the shots were stunning! The acting quite good the writing not so much a shame because it was promising.

This one like the other ones was rich on layers but this one is a "milles feuilles" as we call it in French a thousands layers .

I've been touch by the step mother part but also the poetry about in betweenness a place in between live by and death.

The non living and war... but I see that I can't go further without spoiling it.

Nevertheless for children even 10 years old that is a bit of a challenge .. my stepsons got lost.

It's beautiful but to complexe for young children specially when it lasts 2 hours.

Otherwise enjoy! It's still full of symbols and poetry. And people trying to find their way. Do you want to live in a stupid world where people kill each other for greed? Because that's what it is isn't it ? Power and money...

How come such low grades?

Too many humor maybe?? Too many references to real humanist work?

Philosophy and ethics no more Welkom on screen? Are we condemned to each comic super héros ? And what about sarcasm irony littérature everything that make human humans?

Because that is the real question here... what's a human?

When the rebel robot is saying that littérature is dangerous and he's destroying the library.. my heart really sunk for that is so common nowadays... what is culture for? According to Churchill that is the only reason to fight for ... because that is the core of the human community. So please go back to school and beware about the robot... after all the first rule that has been admitted by everyone which says that robots don't harm humans comes from a writer of sci-fi Asimov...

Funny! Classic horror with a lot of wink to the old série! The best would be the arrival of tatoo !!!

I won't say it deserves an 8, but it was well written maybe the PI needed an explanation. Otherwise it works everybody gets his fantasy that was the rules... liked it !

The little actress that plays in pretty little liar being the villain that was a good twist!

But the effect and the second degré about the original série were well done.

I think people forgot about ironie and second degré nowadays.. so lame I think those who wrote the reviews didn't really liked the original did they? Or they were looking for fantasy island and not nightmare...

Should have been , could have been .... But Nope like a big bubble of soap... a perfume a big bubble but only air.... Last episode?

The worst too bad nicepresentation nice acting but the writing and the development not at all.

I don't know the book neither the writer.

Some episode had to be made but we could have guessed that he was on WPP.

What about the first part... the first crime then the "accident" of the daughter the rest of the family, the ex boyfywhat about all these characters?

In short what a waste... I hoped a thrill but I think a great cast doesn't make everything... beautiful filming for nothing.

Promising great cast and... rubbish writing.

Hackers ? Right five mn then a classical action movie more about the couple.. If you like spying stories move away... The twist is so twisted that it seems ridiculous... Too bad In French a character in a moliere's play used to say: qu'allait-il faire dans cette galère !!

And because I need more characters I will have to complain Cassel is not a spy but rather a skinnier version of die hard without humor.

It has to be an American production right?

The lonely cow boy and the terrible ex not able to move on... really?

What can need 21 characters? I know !

Really people are comparing this one with asterix and cleopatra?? Really? This story line is really faithful to the original comics!

The actors take their place because it is actually a real place for actors to be at the foreground and not a decoration for CGI!!!

My god do people only like to applause to computer performances?! Do they know that computers don't care about what they are thinking?!! The best movie could be avatar this year? So please make the room for a computer on stage.

This one is only for people who likes to see real people! Jose Garcia is a beautiful surprise!! Hail to thee breathe spirit!

Diane or Margot ?

Isabelle Adjani plays a Diane that mirrored her performance as Margot. But how come such a strong woman like Diane de Poitier could be played like that?

I have nothing against vulnerability but this character as little to do with the original Diane . Virginie Ledoyen as the mean duchess is far more convincing for this was a hard time for women without the wealth of a Médicis . On the other hand Adjani gives a performance that has a lot to do with what she has done before the troubled queen... and the beauty of the shots and costume don't let us forget the terrible writing

Could have been so good

This episode ruined it for me. A good story in spite of the John graff /list story but it could have been a horror classic movie. But the super twist of the end?! Really Theodora admitting to several twisted plots... the real story was very creepy so the tunnel graff and Theodora plot weren't really needed. I think they went too far to surprise the public. I found it disappointed the police the creepy neighbors that wasn't enough? Even the odd teacher.. but I need 135 characters . The club of weirdos at the end so stupid preserving the interiors... really? What can I s y it's a metaphor for white supremacists.

Loved it... a French director Truffaut used to say that people have all two jobs : the one they and film critic.

Mike Flanagan found a new way of visiting horror story. Nice plot nice stories... I enjoyed it. It worth the time spending and what if some of the actors were not so brillant ? Why comparing to others series? And yes I felt I needed to write a review after the others... some movies are sometimes not as good as others so what? Spielberg himself that doesn't mean it didn't worth trying.

So to reach this 100 characters missing an gonna say, it's nicely gothic with teenagers facing the worse :not having future...

Almost there ...

Yes they were almost ... catchy. Good police woman. In fact the correctness makes it a little boring, only women in that movie with agenda and men are just puppets or witness... You have to watch the story of the Gibson twin sisters to see it could have worked. But they didn't use the fusion only the confusion... The trauma could have been more worked. In order to make it a psychological thriller. Point is nowadays you need physical fight and blood... So one has to die and you will never who done it except as an anecdote... too bad it was almost there. For real twin switch (not for one year) to make fun of the other because they have their own world and they are most of the time jealous of it.. .

The challenge was to present a true story of such an enigmatic bond. I think a real twin can relate to this . When a dominant love his shadow to death. There is no way out for both it's a story of the Siamese twin from the heart.

Which can only be understood from within . Because out doesn't exist ... the director and the actresses did a good job for your attracted and repulsed by this expression of female bond.

They were geniuses according to the tests but lacking of social skills.

The representation or they way of thinking is brilliant giving light to this dark atmosphere.

June survived and never needed psychological help...

Like when director take risks and that was a big one! Looking for her past? Striving for the future... less gothic full of private jokes... somw really good moments. Didn't regret the time past watching it..

Horrible review because people only compare it to others... Christina Ricci is brillant. This is a psychological thriller with a touch of horror.

A story with a touch of poetry. The idealized 50's with perfect mums doll look a like... Yet the reviews were superficial the movie isn't perfect but over the 4.6. For real viewers.

Really the first was really funny and the human touch at the end for this poor simple guy was just nice But the brilliant idea came with the second season. The actual misery of this generation that lives two lives as if one was not enough for young people... and yes they can feel some connection on the vulnerability because they are themselves on that space... because guess what there's still some part of us that are actually human and need connection...

This is a real thing! Sadly mothers are hurting their own children.

But here they didin't they wanted to minimize the horror of child abuse, because she is not the real mother... why? That kills the plot which was pretty well made otherwise.

Mothers can harm their own children .. to prove that they are good mothers the societal alienation is a real pressure on some weak psyche... too bad.

It could have been it had the potential but... QuiT the twist move man! That is stupid at the end Marcus discovered for the second time that axel slept with anna??!! But he beat him up for that one the limo before!

And sleeping is more important than seing his loved one killing??

They want us to believe that those people have no conscience and no senses of responsibility... that she could get married and alone ?!

The weak character of the strong women ... really ?!

Waste of time maybe we didn't need to know..

The first character is always on the edge.. mostly crying after 3 episodes pfff then I gave it a chance, because guess what? The photography is genius! The work on the color gives a spicy touch! I forgot the story about those degenerate people who are to bored to enjoy life... but my god hail to the director of photography.

At the time of unabomber? CSI? And the stupidest end ever!!! Angelina did better shot as did the good French team! That look like clowns....but for the cinephiles a lot of homages or Easter eggs like the scissor gena Rowland passing in the role of the tough woman of the 60's. If you don't have a knowledge of classical Hollywood you will miss the work of the director that certainly was a good student!

Of course they had to put a twist but it ´s like a drop of lemon on coffee ... but the American coffee too long and reheat!

But this is the script have been paid and found fundings... of course good for ad...

A great hommage to the women who left... left children a tabou terrible one.

Loving children and loving being away from them... the male privilege! They are so often depicted are the one that love their children and nevertheless choose themselves... Courageous and simple depiction .

It never passes says the old version in front of a meme of herself... or so she is seeing it... Not a feminist in every senses but this equality on the weaknesses. She craves for attention but the attention of the young ones... she is turning a page and peeling orange like snakes for every part of her makes her as she is...

As much as I appreciate the work done, I still think it would have been better to give a young guy his chance... but they choose otherwise.

Nice and funny the sequence in which Luke is paying back by training grogu.

The references for old fans like me are nice. How to build new with the old stuff!

But still... ethically speaking I think it would have been nice to give a chance to a young guy in the part of Luke ... But that's just me...

Beginning in between vertigo and rear window was promising but they want so much to surprise you... they turned the girl into chucky!!

Really? And then it turns like Bridget jones the girl isn't with her ex who is her shrink ! Really?? Lousy end. I think it's certainly original if you never heard of Hitchcock and actual good stories...
