BioShock (2007 Video Game)

The Best Game I've Ever Played
7 September 2008
Where do I start with this masterpiece? As soon as the first scene rolls in, you know you're in for an action-packed, deeply atmospheric, intelligent gaming experience! To start off with - the Graphics. Truly breathtaking! The plane crash at the beginning wouldn't be as intense if it wasn't for the immersive fire and water effects. The lighting effects are also fantastic, shining through and on the surface. The graphics are the best I've seen in any game.

Next - the Gameplay. The gameplay was solid, with character customisations to the roof! The splicing is excellent, and the combat system works effectively! My only criticism is the lack of a 'block' button. Like Condemned. That would have been excellent, as it is very difficult to survive on Hard mode.

Next - the Story. It..is...remarkable! From the moment it begins, your trapped; spiralling into the world of Bioshock! Packed with twists and turns, this is one of the best stories ever created for a game! Or movie for that matter. And incredible, intelligent plot form start to finish.

Next - the Sound. Without the implausible sound effects and the captivating music, the astounding atmosphere would be inconceivable! The soundtrack is unlike any other. 'Nuff said! And finally - the Atmosphere. Beyond words. Seriously, I cannot describe it. You actually feel like you are in Rapture, fearing for your life and fearful of the Splicing mutants that roam the abandoned halls of Rapture. The Big Daddy's are terrifying, and their connection with the Little Sisters is strong! They would lay down their life for them, which is unique to see something so massive protecting a tiny little girl. Like I said - beyond words.

In conclusion, buy this game. Now. Right now. What the hell are you still doing here? Go buy it!

Brilliant Film
30 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Simply one of the best films I've ever seen! The acting is brilliant, and the dialogue between Seth (George Clooney) and Richie Gecko (Quentin Tarantino) is hilarious!

Richie Gecko: "F*ck those spick pigs man, you called me a f*cking nut!"

Kate: "Excuse me. Where are we going?" Richie: "Mexico" Kate: "What's in Mexico?" Richie: "Mexicans."

GOLD!

When I bought this, I was expecting a crime flick (I didn't know about the vampires). But as soon as Salma Hayek turned, I was like 'WTF?' Then I thought, ''Oh, this is going to be sh*t!'' but its excellent! I love the films where it's like...FIGHT TO THE DEATH, and ONLY ONE OR TWO SURVIVORS or something. 10/10. Straight Down. Okay Ramblers. Let's get rambling.

Can YOU Dig It?
21 May 2006
The first time I saw this was Christmas 2005, and I absolutely loved it. Having played the game, I can see how much more depth there is into the characters emotions in the movie. James Remar was brilliant as Ajax, as was Michael Beck as Swan.

The fighting scenes were incredible, and the bathroom fight was one of the best fights in film history! Acting was amazing, and Cyrus was fantastic.

All in all, Walter Hill did an amazing job on one of the greatest film of all time. I heard they were doing a remake, which is set in 2006 in LA. It will obviously never match up to the brilliant cult classic - The Warriors. Can you dig it?

Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006)

One of the Best Series Going.
21 December 2005
Malcolm in the Middle is an excellent series, and the actors are brilliant. Some facts on Malcolm in the Middle: Frankie Muniz (Malcolm) is older than his brother, Rees. Frankie Muniz (Malcolm) is twenty years old now. Erik Per Sullivan (Dewey) is fifteen years old. The family name is 'Wilkerson'. Lois' father, Victor has a second family. Watching it for five years, I have loved every single episode from the Pilot episode. Some of the best episodes are Rees joins the army Part 1 and 2, the Pilot episode and Francis comes home. Or the one where Lois imagines she has girls instead of boys, The Waterpark and The Zoo - all brilliant. All in all, for five years, it has been the best show running.

The Warriors (2005 Video Game)
Excellent game 9/10
16 November 2005
Simply one of the best games I have ever played. Rockstar Games capture the dialogue perfectly, the screenplay brilliant and the game play amazing. The characters are amazingly accurate, but just one flaw in the graphical division - is the Rockstar image getting a bit old, is it time for a change? Who thinks I'm right?

Playing the game for the first time, it all felt a bit Grand Theft Autoey, but after a few hours, you simply drown everything in this game. You block out reality to just concentrate on the action! It gets a bit tense in the police chases, which are brilliant, and the rooftop chase with the High Hats and the Baseball Furies chase are some of the best levels in the game.
