Don't Bother

Very dull and the actors DO NOT match the characters they are playing. Who did their auditions? Another one of those that could have been really good but here we go again with total rubbish!!!!! If you want to see a good movie about Mary Shelley check out "Gothic"!! It is an older movie 1986 but you will love it.

I don't even know where to begin. It immediately grabs your attention when you see the word Amityville so they know how to get your drawn to buy it and YES, I bought it. NOTHING to do with Amityville!!!!! The acting was HORRIBLE and the plot made no sense at all. Don't waste your money. It went into my pile of "total trash" DVDs and I have a collection because seems like that is all they make these days.

Camp Cold Brook (2018)

Such Possibilities

Once again here we go with a movie that had such possibilities but ended up being a total pile of garbage. LOVE Danielle Harris but even she could not save this movie. I gave it a 5 just because of her. They could have taken this ghost story to such awesome levels but left it totally flat. Not sure what is happening with Hollywood these days.......someone just seems to wake up one morning and say "hey, lets make a horror movie today but let's not think it through let's just go for it and see what happens"..........

A MASTERPIECE

This was and still is the true masterpiece of remakes!!!!!!!! I remember reading somewhere that It ended so abruptly because of the Gulf War. If this had been able to continue on telling the story it would have been awesome!!!! Ben Cross & Joanna Going were so incredible!!!! If you find this on DVD grab it and get ready to be taken back to a time when you were young whether it be 1991 or 1968 you will enjoy every minute of it!!!!!!

Bone Breaker (2020)

Such Possibilities

This movie had such possibilities but couldn't seem to "get" there. Did not explain what was happening nor why is was happening. Jumped around from one scene quickly to the other leaving you with so many questions. And suddenly it was time to end the movie so it just "ended"............ I do not understand why movies these days are not "thought through" to the very end. Someone just says "Let's make a movie" and it ends up being just awful when it could have been really good.

Once again here we go.............a storyline that would have made an awesome horror movie totally turned into a piece of crap!!!!!!!! WHY does Hollywood keep on dishing out these awful movies?? And do they just go out on the street and ask "Come on with me....I am making a horror movie and you can act in it"? It's just sad so so sad!!!!

The Haunting of Sharon Tate (2019)

It is just amazing what is allowed in Hollywood these days for the almighty dollar!!! I bought this movie even after reading the horrible reviews simply because I have always been interested in anything Manson and what he and the "family" did to Sharon Tate and her unborn son but this was just too over the top. If you were going to tell the story why not tell the TRUE story and not a bunch of rubbish. And whoever cast Hilary Duff as Sharon Tate must have known absolutely NOTHING about the real Sharon Tate because that was a total joke. And the ONLY time Sharon Tate had an accent was in Eye of the Devil and that was a fake one so not sure WHERE this casting director got that Sharon Tate had an accent and was some dumpy looking blonde BUT if that was what he was trying to accomplish did hit the nail on the head with Hilary Duff.

Rumer must have taken acting lessons from her Mom. Emma did a really good job but she looked she was about to die from starvation. Plot was good but once again like so many movies now days just not thought through. Just a thrown together piece of trash.

The Nanny (IV) (2018)

Awesome Start

The movie started out really awesome and the concept was amazing but things got bad pretty quick. Jaime Murray was fantastic!!!! But the girl who played Noa had this constant smirk/grin on her face like she was about to burst out laughing at any moment and was trying to restrain herself from doing so........just BAD acting on her part. Towards the end it gave us a cheap Sci-Fi feel. Another one of those movies that could have been REALLY good if ONLY someone had thought it through and cast a good actress for the lead instead of someone who obviously did not know how to act......who auditioned her?????

One Minute Before Death (1972)

The plot is AWESOME with that Gothic Haunted House vibe if the 70's that made that era of movies so good. The acting however was atrocious. How many people noticed that the portrait changed a few times from one woman to another? What could have been such a good movie of the 1970's turned out to be just another one of those leaving you saying WHY??

Just as the last person said HORRID!!! I am so glad I rented it instead of buying it. I have all of the previous movies and this movie "prequel" simply made no sense at all. It was just a bunch of garbage.
