The Sopranos (1999)
A must rewatch
I just want to say that the re watch potential of this story and screenplay is spot on, for the first time viewers I promise you need patience and interest to watch the entire show, if you get through it the second and third time you will be admiring the shows true nature, the character arks the entire setup, I just cannot get over watching bits of it when I get chance to understand the story better. Nevertheless I have not seen an actor portray a character better than James gandalfini does, credit goes to the story department and combined with acting brilliance it's a treat to watch. Sopranos stays with you, you want to know the amount of possible endings the story could have had and you experience different perspectives every time you watch. It's a masterpiece on cosa nastra.
Viduthalai Part 1 (2023)
Overrated and far from reality
These kind of movies I expect narration to be closer to reality, purely because of the amount of time spent on showing scenes to bring audiences to a certain social situation and provide a clear way on how things are handled in real life, this movie is far from reality, in a plot point to show police brutality we go to an extent of constant nude scenes and unrealistic police proceeding of capturing and giving third degree treatment to every villager, it is unnecessary to provide so much screen time and show those scenes which add no weight to the narrative, almost feels like the director has a template of showing someone cleaning dirty toilets, a bunch of nude people and gory details to make audience feel sense of reality or real social problems, it's neither engaging nor needed for the plot, simply a lazy way to do story telling by trying to bring emotions out of people and keeping them engaged forcefully without the story making those happen naturally, movie sucks ass and waste of time, hence the box office collections.
Mahaan (2022)
Don't miss it
One of the best movies I have seen off late, everything from screenplay, acting to directing is spot on, the story written with so many details and subplots played out incredibly well. Kudos to vikram to pull off the role with such attitude.
Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 (2021)
Good gripping movie
Great job from all actors, overall the storyline is new and hasn't been done in Telugu commercial movies before, the director draws you into each character with strong backstories to actually keep the audience engaged about their life's keeping aside what they do for a living is illegal. Allu Arjun does a great job, his ease in acting is exceptional, music could have been better. This is commercial cinema, this is how it is to be shown in South Indian movies, I am not saying it's better than any of the other languages movies in similar
Genres. Kaithi is a movie I loved, this movie reminded me of that with a mix of Telugu commercial cinema.
Red Notice (2021)
Worst movie of 2021
Please stop making these movies, 4 year old kids writing scripts. Don't the actors have minimum self awareness to understand what kind of scripts they are choosing, this is bad even from Hollywood standards.
F9 (2021)
Could not give a ZERO
Are you kidding me ? I have seen my share of bad mind less entertainers in my life, I did like some of them even if the critics didn't, this movie is a whole new ball game, it's just not the worst but it has potential to give people brain damage. What non sensible person wrote the story. It is the worst movie I have seen and if you want to know why, please watch.
