Infantile and utter rubbish

Well.... Just like I said.

If you have 1 hour and fifty minutes to waste (and I absolutely mean waste), you can watch this, but it's really not worth it.

Script sucks, effects suck, acting sucks.... Hang on.... The music was kinda ok.

Carnival Row (2019–2023)

What in God's name were they trying to do here? The only reason to give it one star is the costume design and the scenery. The story is a mess and drags on episode after episode without going anywhere. If the had put all the events in a three hour movie it might just be watchable, but this..... It just makes me sad.

They probably tried to make some sort of cult thing here, but is lacks in everything. The story is boring and long and doesn't go anywhere. The language is terrible and the acting even worse. If you're thinking about watching it spare yourself the pain. It's not worth it.

It's a decent alien movie, but I just couldn't handle the emotionless and amateuristical american dubbing. It was the worst I ever heard. So I watched the original with subtitles. I can recommend that to every sci-fi lover.

Special effects is all that holds this movie together. There's no real ending and the plot is wafer thin. If anything this is a very long trailer for the game. Really disappointed.

From the very beginning you get thrown into a mess of incoherent rubbish. Badly written and a waste of the rather good actors. There is no real storyline to follow. Just some poor wannabe gangsta's of which we have already too many movies. So so dissapoining.

Just can't get used to the sorry cheap 3d animation. If it was all done in 2d it would have been bearable but the lazy still pictures are really the worst. Again so much potential but such a poor execution.

One of the worst anime ever. The idea is good, but apparently the writers have spend most of their lives under a rock. The "hero" is the most annoying character and the unrealistic human interaction is just pathetic. Again a case of a ruined great plan.

An insult to all animations and war series. A desperate attempt to give a new look to the so much better Band of Brothers. Let you in on a secret: it was funny in a music clip from Aha in 1985. Now they try to pass it on as innovative and new. It's just cheap and lazy. Passing it on as animation is saying fast food is the same as food from a 3 star restaurant. It might have been watchable without the filter, but then you're still stuck with some B-actors that give it their best shot, but should actually consider a career change. Again a failure by Netflix.

National Parks Adventure (2016)

Pointless effort to create something interesting. In the first minutes you hear tales about how Indians used to live in harmony with nature. The voice of Redford is as expected, very good. And then is starts with popsongs, focusing on everything but the awesome nature. It fails in every aspect from there on. Just another waste of time.

And I don't mean because of blood or gore. It's narrated and made to look like a documentary. As if kids don't have enough rubbish to filter through in their lives. It should be made more clear to them that it's NOT REAL. Apart from that...... It still not very good. Some nice technical shots in sequence doesn't make for a good show.

Drain the Sunken Pirate City (2017 TV Movie)

Wonderful mix of history and technology

Admitting it could be better, but then it had to be at least an hour longer. Then they could show more of the tech they used. But the human story they show here is captivating. The way the city grew, the pirates, merchants, artisans, people in search for wealth etc, is brought to life without romanticizing it too much. The well deserved reputation of being the wickedest city on earth has been recorded centuries ago. No wonder if you read the reports of visitors from before the earthquake. A part of British and Caribbean history that doesn't have the "American Hollywood sauce" dripping from it. Simply a joy to watch.

The whole idea of teaching a phone-glued spoiled attention ***** a lesson kinda gets a weird twist when the good girl gets to be punished and has to save the brat that was ruining her life.... . Somehow this movie misses the point of "you can't always get what you want" It could have been a nice one if the story wasn't this idiotic.

The movie would have been a small 7 but using the name Holmes rises some expectations that are in no way met. It's a nice coming of age story but nothing more than that. If the cast wasn't like it is, it would have probably only be a tv movie. Really disappointing.

Yes, I could have taken 1 an 2 in account too, but the total stupidity of writing 2 great seasons and then completely and utterly ruining it in a third season is so cruel to the viewers who loved it, that this one star is well deserved. Main thing in a show is that you can more or less identify with a character or at least want to believe them. The third season is so full of completely mind boggling coincidences, stupid twist and most important the main character is completely unbelievable. With pain in my heart I watched the weird lead character turn into a mumbling and Chaotic, frightened basket case that would never be able to pull off the task she had. One episode after another they destroyed her. Shame on the writer!!

Skip all the "amazing" rubbish and the other fake reviews. It's way better than Pearl harbor, but it's just not all there. I had this "if only" feeling the entire movie. If only the story was a bit better. If only the characters were a bit deeper. If only the dog played a bigger part than the little unconvincing boy Karel........ But still I hope to see more movies about the part that eastern Europeans played in wwII.

It's not a bad film, but what you need in a movie like this is a convincing bad guy. Not a nerd who looks like he can't even tie his own shoelaces and is not really very good at acting in any way. He completely destroys it. Otherwise is would be a 7.

Even though the US is steadily making its way to look like this, it's horrifically bad. Usually when a movie is this bad it's actually kinda good...... Not in this case though. It wouldn't even be worth anyone's time as a video-game.

Incoherent, pointless and going absolutely nowhere. Chaotic story, badly written and you can put the best actors in the world in it, but it will always be a disaster. Absolute waste of time.
