The Cosby Show: The Last Barbecue (1990)
Silly conversation over a silly matter!
Denise and Sondra were both being ridiculous in this episode. There are strippers at bachelor parties its not a big deal. They were being egged on by their mother Claire who could had to have something to say.
Denise told Martin to have a bachelor party in the first place and when she found out that Theo had hired a stripper for Martin's bachelor party, she went off.
If I had been Martin, I would consider getting an annulment or a divorce. Why would I want to remain married to someone who makes a big deal over nothing?
And Sondra was just as bad if not worst. Her rude comment to Elvin was uncalled for and stupid. Loved his response to her comment. When Denise got into his face, he would have had ever right to back hand her.
Benson: Pen Pal (1982)
OK episode!
It was nice of Krause to try and get him a job at the Governor's mansion but his attacking Clayton when Clayton was raising his voice to Krause was stupid on his part. I mean Clayton is a government official who would be on the phone to the police and this idiot would be back in his jail cell by day's end and his work release would be over with.
But I loved this show just the same.
Cinched & Secured: Toy Story Struggle starring Jeanette (2018)
Very good and fun!
My only thing is that after the stuff bird hypnotized Jeanette, I would have had them treat her as their toy and have fun like make her do tricks.
Anyway it was fun.
Sanford and Son: Lamont as Othello (1973)
Silly episode
Who would not be upset at some strange man coming into their bedroom? Not only that, the dialogue was equally stupid. When the couple's daughter says, "Mr. Sandford is offended." That was ridiculous.
He is trespassing. He has no business being in their home nor in their bedroom. So in what universe does Fred have a right to be offended? How are the parents in the wrong?
Another Time, Another Place (1983)
Very good movie!
I loved it. A story of a housewife whose life she finds boring and a prisoner of war who fall for each other. I loved it. I could have done without the rape scene near the end of the movie though as a away of exposing their affair.
Anyway, a very good movie.
The Tomorrow People (2013)
Premise was good but the writing was bad.
That they cannot kill was one plot point that was silly. Other than that, Cara challenging John who has kept them safe for years so they can go and party was dumb. Stephen joining an organization that kidnaps him from off the street, straps him to a chair and were about to inject him with something that can harm me.
And as for the head of the organization being his father's brother, the fact that he did this to his nephew, I would certainly not join or want anything to do with him.
The writing was all over the place and made less sense which is a shame.
