Pure Art

Loving Vincent is one of few movies i got to in theatres in 2017. Not because I am broke, but because I only go to see movies that seem to be worth seeing. And this one didn't dissapointed at all. The animation is spectacular and the movie is worth watching just for it. As for the story, its about young man named Armand Roulin, which goes to deliver letter, that Vincent Van Gogh wrote before he died and finds out about the circumstances of Van Gogh's dead. It may seem boring at times, but it's still really interesting and entertaining. The characters are just as important and developed, as movie needs them to and the ones with some development are very remarkable. Definitely check out this movie. It won't disappoint.

Pretty good

So I just saw this thing. And it was pretty good. The animation is wonderfull and so is the color palette . The plots for for each episode are strange, but creative and different. Characters are stereotypical, but i cant really imagine it working otherwise. The jokes, although aren't very often funny, they still work in theory. It's also important to know that the show doesn't use being black as a punchline. Instead, the blackness of its cast uses as an explanation to all possible questions. This show is not masterpiece, but it's still great and worth watching.

Really good anime

(Review of the 1st season. However, manga doesn't lose any quality as it goes on, so this can be applied to other seasons as well.) I normally don't watch anime if it's not on TV, but i decided to make an exception this time. I went to this anime expecting only the best and I was not dissapointed. The story is about boy named Nishikata trying to not get teased by his friend Takagi, and tease her at the same time. This seemingly mean spirited and unfunny concept leads to one of the most adorable and funniest shows I have ever seen. Show is structured in such a way, that leaves place for both humor and character development. The chemistry between two main characters is undeniable and despite them being boy and girl, there is not love struck in such a way, that you would expect it to be. The characters go through big changes and the final episode is really heartbreaking. When talking about side characters, they are really funny and well written as well. Even if you don't like anime, this show is worth watching and will probably change your mind.
