Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Seeing in theaters was amazing
This movie was a 10/10 in 3D iMax on the opening weekend. Simply one of my favorite movie experiences
The Godfather (1972)
One of the greatest of all time
Simply amazing. This is probably the only 3 hour movie I would ever watch
Joker (2019)
Favorite horror movie !
Love this ! (It was crazy). Be warned Joker is psychotic! If you can handle the mental delusion of Joker this is a 10/10 horror/thriller movie
Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015)
Another fun enjoyable episode
My favorite is still the third though.
I love the witty humor when they poke fun at a few things and the sound track is amazing as always
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018)
Amazing !
I absolutely loved the sound design in the movie !! The music was fantastic as well as the artwork and design of the film. I don't tend to like animated movies all that much, but this movie was fantastic and probably one of my favorite animated movies !!
Searching (2018)
I just can't ...
The actual screenplay and action was excellent. The story was just so sad that I can't deal with it ...
Why would you want to watch this movie ???
Emotionally what would I stand to gain ??
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Not good
Just not quality. The effects were nice, but the acting and plot line were mediocre
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
The quintessential sci-fi movie
This movie made me want to vote for trumps space force. The best mattress commercial I've ever seen. Kenye 2020. "I can't wait until they get flung out into space"
- Seth Chick
"If I were to make a movie to troll Zach Watson I would make this movie"
Slender Man (2018)
Good for a budget film
I thought for what seemed to be an amateur film: it had a lot of interesting film effects used throughout the movie, and most were put to reasonably good use. I thought the girls did a good job acting despite their younger age.
The movie just suffers from lack of plot design, not making any real references to the videogame or to the lore and fandom, which I would have really appreciated if they did. About 2/3 the way in the movie just slows down too much, but the beginning and ending were sustainable. Overall a good attempt at a movie for someone obviously less experienced, but a lot can still be had.
Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)
Best mission impossible
This movie is probably my favorite of the mission impossible franchise. Great locations and screenplay. A lot of the plot was interesting and well thought out though somewhat predictable
Dunkirk (2017)
Amazing !
One of the best pure action movies of the modern era: would highly recommend
Murder on the Orient Express (2017)
Beautiful but bad
Cinematically beautiful, but the plot and the wrap up are just weak which is really unfortunate for such a great looking film
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
Opening Amazing. Depth of plot lackluster considering the length gone to to make it seem "deep"
Started off amazing 10/10. Maybe even 11/10, just the presence and atmosphere were fantastic. But the movie never really went anywhere. There were lots of other people in the universe presumably, but only like 4 of them ever talked to each other, which made the social part of the movie really disappointing. There was never any background explanation as to how the world became what it was. The main character had no friends. The actors were great. I would say this film suffered from the director/editor trying to be too "deep", when they could have just made it a bit more of a horror flick set in this future utopian society, still keeping the basic premise of the main character trying to find himself/ the memories are they real or implanted
Upgrade (2018)
Nice AI concept
I saw this movie in the middle of the week and it did everything I needed for it on a chill night. This is a fantastic movie done with the A.I. Concept and so I just thoroughly enjoyed it as an action movie with some nice plot elements thrown in. Nothing spectacular or mind blowing, but just a fun action flick
Interstellar (2014)
I would rate 11/10
I hadn't seen this but movie and caught it on a flight back from the DR.
One of my favorite movies of all time. I would give the first half of the movie an 11/10, just completely enjoyed it as a sci fi/ thriller(in the sense of so much always being on the line). I loved the acting and just yeah, a great movie and one you should go see if you never have
A Quiet Place (2018)
Had several heart attacks
10/10
Would receive heart attacks again.
My only real complaint is it was a little slower in the first 1/3 but that's fine since it was a setup for the rest of the movie
The Shape of Water (2017)
Does this mean all disabled people are fish ?
See title.
For those who need a serious review:
I enjoyed the "art" of it, with the music, scenery, and costume design.
The movie is in the 'artsy' category so you've been forewarned.
I enjoyed the slow drama and tension of the movie. I thought the plot moved at a nice pace and I enjoyed the actors in the movie.
I have no real criticism of the film;just be sure you want to watch a film in the 'artsy' 'love' category first though.
Thanks for reading ;)

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
I sort of liked it ?
Ok I know rating a movie like this 2 star is going to seem like hate, but let me explain.
1) I feel like tony stark is an arrogant douchebag and I don't like that he's stronger that other "super"heroes
2) I'm not a fan of the over used plot device of "I must kill my loved one to save the universe". It's just fake tension most of the time and because most of the main characters are wearing main character armor, they either don't get killed or revived anyway
3) the ending didn't wrap up any loose ends at all and isn't really dramatic anyway
4) I miss when Spider-Man was cool and not some lame dork iron man bossed around
5) the hulk just didn't want to participate in the movie for unknown reasons and he's also one of my favorites
6) I didn't like that the "good" guys just gave the bad guy the rock he wanted... twice
7) where was the "orange" black panther character as he was my favorite one ?
8) how did that one good guy with the rock in his head, vision, survive when his neurosurgery was incomplete ?
9) why did we keep saving that one girl, to just throw her off a cliff? And she was also one of my favorites
10) the dialogue was weak in the movie as a whole and most of the "comedic" moments weren't funny outside of Star-Lord, who was great by the way
11) the dialogue was weird between between Gamora and thanos. Why did she never understand how he felt about her ? That made the endingish scene weird because she didn't understand she was going to get thrown off the cliff until he grabbed her
Django Unchained (2012)
Amazing. Actiony
Go watch it now. That's all I would have to say, but the system told me my review was too short.
Logan (2017)
I wouldn't recommend this movie
To me, this movie was a very generic action movie. Nothing notable to see here.
Grimm (2011)
One of my favorite TV series
I loved this series and watched it for such a long time. I would recommend the first couple of seasons to everyone!
After a while the director kept throwing in more and more awkward sex scenes which is the only reason I took away a star, because the plot seemed to kind of die down after a while.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017)
Below average
Being a fan of the series, I would still recommend this if you enjoy the series, however this film is below average.
The main problem is the last hour and a half or so with the island scene just wasn't done well at all, doesn't fit with the plot well, and just feels like filler that doesn't make sense.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first hours action scenes as well as the last couple scenes with the water wall on each side.
If you want to be able to enjoy this film, have a drink and watch along for the actions and maybe take a break in the middle to go get a refill of whatever your having.
Ready Player One (2018)
Spectacular and would completely recommend
I enjoy a good movie that can do the "alternate universe" concept well, and so to me, this film was fantastic.
I also really enjoy racing games and video games in general, and so the fact that this movie was really a first of its kind to me really stood out in that way: that this was essentially a video game brought to life in a filmographic way which was not cheesy.
I thought the actors were good, and even though there were many SWJ moments and plot devices, the film was so enjoyable to watch visibly and well crafted through how the curator and memories played a role in the puzzle, I was just enjoying the film the whole way through.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Enjoyed and would recommend to a friend
I thought this movie was excellent. I for one, am NOT really a sci fi fan.
What I enjoyed was the interplay between light and dark. "Will either of the two main characters change sides?" was a question constantly posed throughout the film. Will Rei change from light to dark? Will Kylo Rein change from Dark to Light?
I enjoyed many of the action scenes.
I thought Luke was played in a funny way and I enjoyed seeing how there was a "human" side to the Jedi.
Seeing the perspective of the Luke trying to kill Kylo Ren scene from both sides and the interplay between them I also thought was spectacular.
I know others who did not enjoy this movie, but to me, this was one of the best, if not the best Star Wars, because of the interplay of all these foils at work.
Black Panther (2018)
As Expected
I enjoyed Black Panther overall and I would recommend this to a friend. I rated "5 stars" for being an average film in my opinion. Black Panther did everything I wanted out of a movie. I enjoyed the cast and the characters.
In my opinion the film falls short in that there is no real plot. The main characters fight over the thrown, but by the end nothing has really progressed or changed in the characters relationships to each other since the beginning.
I enjoyed several of the action and fight scenes and enjoyed the theatrics and the dress of the characters. The costume design was beautiful, which to me, made up for lack of substance in the plot-line.
I enjoyed the female leads and thought the did an excellent job complementing the main character. I also enjoyed the sci fi side of the technologies.
