BoJack Horseman (2014)
Best ending ever
I've never seen any series that has better ending than this. 11/10 for the ending, 7/10 for season 1. My final score will be 9
Hyakuen no koi (2014)
There is no climax on most of us.
I am pretty sure that most of us here are never ever going to be the best in the world, just like the protagonist here. Yes, she started off as a perfect loser then put more effort than any others. Yet, her effort was never good enough since she found her passion too late. This is life to be honest. You might find your talent late, and the reality might hit you too hard to the point you might think it is impossible to achieve anything. However, she achieved something greater than a win in regional boxing match; her purpose on life.
From then on, she is most likely to have no climax in her life just like most of us. Yet, that isn't too bad of a life as long as she has a goal to achieve.
Joi manheun sonyeo (2017)
No one cares about me, before my death.
After Kyeong-Min's suicide, every single person in the film picks on a peer student ; so that they could free the burden. The chosen target was her former-best friend Young-Hee (The movie indicates that they might have been more than just "friends"). Detective accuses Young-Hee as detective found a murder weapon on her hand . Disbelief on Young-Hee is shown everywhere even when she is beaten up by peer student; not a single person including her dad or her teacher defends her.
Then, everything turns around after failed suicide attempt of Young-Hee.
Ever since then, people consider Young-Hee as a best friend and martyr at the same time, trying to comfort her. The peer student who beat Young-Hee up suddenly found another victim to pick on, forcing her to make fake statement on teacher, due to the fact that the teacher didn't help Young-Hee out.
Throughout the film, we can see how easy 'revenge' or 'lynch' escalates especially when people don't want to accept the responsibilities.
The part I didn't like in this film was kiss scene between two girls. I don't have anything against homosexuality in film, nor kiss scene between two high school students. However, the scene itself didn't blend in ( maybe, the director was trying to show there could have been something more than a friendship)
Black Mirror: Metalhead (2017)
My least favourite episode of this magnificent series.
In every single episode of this outstanding series, there was an interesting attachable concept with an amazing delivery. The series might or might not be about futuristic life, but I could observe one common subject throughout this series. "Emotion exists no matter how much the technology evolves, either improving our lives or destroy it completely."
Episode such as "Men against fire" directly related to racism based on ignorance, and propaganda. In order to avoid PTSD, people in the high rank do exercise propaganda so that our opponent seems evil. However, as a lot of literatures and films state, it might not be correct.
"Hated in the Nation" is a simple episode where karma takes a big role. Finding literature where people getting in to all sorts of crap due to hatred are not that rare to observe.
Just like these two examples, we see a lot of 'bed time stories' reinterpreted with near future technologies, with great deliveries. Also, they never left out of humanbeing's emotion, which takes a big role.
However, this episode didn't give anything to give, because there was no emotion to observe whatsoever. Yes, machines kill people. Yes, protagonist is angry at machines. What other emotions and greed did I observe from here? Barely anything. There is less interection (both human to human or human to machine interaction) than The Terminator series, which was quite a talent in a bad way.
Million Dollar Baby (2004)
Not everyone can win everything.
Sometimes, the truth hits hard, yet hits it well. No matter how hard you try, no matter how hard you train, there will be obstacles blocking your careerpath.
Herutâ sukerutâ (2012)
Colourful and sensational
Extremely colourful with extreme suspension. I suppose it's more of a fast-paced destructive Jasmine Blue
