Lost: The Constant (2008)
Best Episode this Season
This is an episode that keeps your attention the whole way through. I can say, for me, without a doubt this is the best episode this year and probably the best episode of the entire series. I recorded it and will keep and watch it over and over. This episode sheds light on some of the questions I have had since the beginning of the season. It will be interesting to see where the writers go from here. Will they go further down the rabbit hole? Will they skew off into another direction? I can't wait to watch the next few episodes. I'm as excited as ever to be a Lost fan.I wont give away any details. Just pay attention and enjoy the show.
Thumbs up! Way up!
10/10 for sure
Smallville: Subterranean (2006)
Getting disappointed in Smallville
I have been a loyal watcher from the beginning and love the show. To me this season has been a disappointment and this is one of the worst episodes I have ever seen. Sure, Clark saves a boy and reunites him with his mother. Where is the excitement? Where are the super powers? Where is the story going? Are there any more Phantom zoners out there? At least they put up good fights, not like the guy in this episode that can move through the ground like a squirrel. The only good part of this episode was the trailer for the upcoming episodes. Please Smallville writers, lets pick up the pace and get somewhere or end the series before we all get bored to tears.
Supernatural: Devil's Trap (2006)
season finally
I particularly found this to be one of the worst episodes of the season. I was sooo pumped to watch it and had an unfulfilled feeling after watching it. What does this episode do for the future of the show? There are soo many questions that need to be answered.
We did find out in this episode that the head demon really wants Sammy converted to evil. So to me it is w/o question that he survived the crash. Now as for Jon and Dean who knows? I don't think the show can survive w/o 2 of the main 3 actors, plus if Sammy is apprehended by the demon there has to be someone left to try to find/rescue him.
Supposedly the colt only has 1 bullet left. So are we to assume that the colt has no significance in the next season? How can there be another full season of trying to locate the head demon and saving the only bullet they have to kill it? So there has to be another way.
I wish we had more to go on. To me, I think that next season Sammy comes to terms with some of his own 'supernatural' abilities. Finds others that have similar abilities and seeks help in trying to figure out how to control and use them. Maybe he will get regular visions like Doyle(sp) and Cordelia did on the show 'Angel'.
I'm interested what any of you have to add or think might happen next season.
