Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022)
This Sequel is okay, but it's seriously overrated
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is not like the old movies like the Shrek movies and the first Puss in Boots movie. This movie is not bad, but it has too much dialogue and comedy in it. There has been a bit too much plot twists, especially while Puss and Kitty Softpaws are on an adventure to the Wishing Star. The animation is basically a copy from the the Spiderverse movie. As for Perrito the dog, he's a lot more annoying than Donkey from the Shrek movies. His background story is a bit too funny and not really serious, so it was complicated.
Even though Death is the only scary villain, the other villains are acting ridiculous and stupid. This movie would've been better if the Chris Miller directed it like he did with the first movie. That way, the Shrek-style animation would have been the same with more action and less comedy.
Over the Hedge (2006)
An awesome film for everyone, especially the kids.
I watched this movie when I was 7. It was funny and cool. RJ, Hammy, and the three young porcupines are my favorite characters. Stella and Verne are okay characters. As for Vincent, he's definitely an evil bear who wants to kill and eat RJ if he doesn't bring him back his food before the full moon. The craziness part is when RJ and the animals started to steal food from people's houses, which prompted Gladys Sharp, president of the home owners' association, to call the exterminator to deal with the animals. Bruce Willis and Steve Carell are great voices actors in this movie. Wanda Sykes, Thomas Haden Church, and Allison Janney were great voice actors also. I'm sure a lot of families and their are gonna love this movie, especially if they're animal lovers.
Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo (1979)
Scrappy doesn't deserve to be hated
Scrappy was a very brave puppy. He loves his uncle, Scooby-Doo, and he looks up to him. He also likes to stepped up and fight the monsters, unlike his uncle and Shaggy. He can be an annoying talker, but that doesn't make him a bad puppy. He's a good puppy who just needs a few adjustments in his behavior. I don't understand why he gets a lot of hate when he clearly wanted to help the Mystery Inc stop the monsters. How could you possibly hate a family member of Scooby? The Scooby-Doo doesn't have to be always about solving mysteries. It should have been about Shaggy, Scooby, and Scooby's family members like Scooby-Dum from The Scooby-Doo Show and of course, Scrappy-Doo. He needs to be given another chance to come back. Justice 4 Scrappy!
Beyond Scared Straight: Floyd County Jail, GA (2013)
Deputy Lyle was the best!
Lyle was an excellent deputy sheriff on Beyond Scared Straight because he has a no-nonsense attitude and approach towards the troubled teens. He did his best in saving these teens from ending up in prison with his "drill sergeant" tactics. He also brought the inmates to scare them with a lot of bullying and cursing, so they can get a taste of their own medicine. This episode was successful, except that one of the teens, Toby, reverted back to his criminal behavior months later. Overall, a lot of viewers praised deputy Lyle for his hard work in putting the troubled teens back on the right track.
Nanny 911: The Sterneman Family (2005)
Nanny Deb is a smart nanny
Nanny Deb is an excellent nanny and she knows what she's doing in handling family crisis. She spends one week in the Sterneman family's house to resolve problems and conflicts. After her observation and parent conference in one day, nanny Deb tells the family the rules for them, present the reward chart/chores for the children, and tells them the consequences of breaking the rules in the next day. My favorite part of this episode is when Deb shows the family the drill, so she use it to take off the bathroom door knobs and reminds the children not to lock themselves in the bathroom anymore. She even helps the youngest child do potty training with the "pee pee dance." Overall, Deb is an excellent nanny for families who desperately need help on stopping arguments, fightings, tantrums, and naggings.
Meet the Robinsons (2007)
Best and most inspiring family movie I ever watched!!!
This movie is about two boys, one from the past and one from the future. They went through time traveling to meet people and to correct mistakes. The motto "Keep Moving Forward" means that you can't change the past, but you can change the future.
The Call of the Wild (2020)
This movie is about an important lesson from nature.
This movie taught viewers, who are dog owners, the important lessons on how dogs can survive the wildlife and they don't have to be alone. This movie is based on a story. Harrison Ford, who played John Thornton, saved Buck from the prospectors and strangers who were abusing him. My favorite parts about the movie is when Buck got to see the black wolf spirit, hanging out with Ford, and meeting with the timber wolves. It shows the dogs that they don't have to be around humans if they keep abusing them. It also shows the viewers about life lessons of dogs feeling happy to be with their own kind. The ending of this movie is definitely a happy one. So, I recommend this movie to all dog lovers around America, to understand how dogs can get used to wildlife and how to survive. In conclusion, the story based movie shows that humans are with their kind and dogs are with their kind, which means this is the law of nature.
Onward (2020)
A great fairy tale Pixar movie
This movie is great because it's filled with magic and it has wonderful fairytale creatures. Pixar and Disney did the right thing to hire Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as main characters. I would definitely give this movie an "A" because it's a perfect family movie for those who believed in magic and happiness. It a "must see" movie for kids also.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)
Best sequel for the Maleficent movie and Disney fans
I love this movie because it shows the continuing of Princess Aurora and Prince Philip getting together and planning on getting married, except the actor of Philip is different. I also love the part when Maleficent found the creatures that looked just like her. They're called "Dark Fey", which are another type of fairies. The craziest part about this movie is when the queen, who hates magical creatures, was building an army, who are creating weapons such as iron and red powder that could wipe out the Dark Fey and other magical creatures. Overall, this movie was great because it mainly shows that Maleficent's not the only fairy with bird wings anymore.
Dolittle (2020)
The best movie for animal lovers
This movie is perfect and entertaining for families who are big fans of talking animals. I'm glad that famous actors RDJ and Tom Holland are in that movie. The CGI animation and an animation from the beginning story are brilliant. To me, this movie is much funnier, better, and adventurous than the Eddie Murphy's Dr. Dolittle, but I still like Eddie. This movie looks like Disney's CGI animated movies, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Pirates of the Caribbean, even though Dolittle is made by Universal Studios. Whoever disliked this movie are big fans of drama/horror movies. Come on, this is a family comedy movie. Everyone should watch Dolittle. It's the cutest, funniest, and beautiful movie I've ever watched. If I was a critic of family movies, I would give this one a grade "A".
I Hate Kids (2019)
Very funny movie for adults who don't want kids
This movie is by far the funniest movie for singles or couple adults. I love the fortune teller who has a strong mindset of what's happening around Los Angeles, California and I also like the part when the main character, a teenager, and a fortune teller we're going on an adventure to find the teenager's mom. I love the jokes that the characters make and some employees who are the big fans of the fortune teller. This movie is a "must see" for adults who don't want to have kids.
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
Apes are good/Humans are bad
This movie shows that's it's all about survival and the apes safety from humans. This movie is pretty epic when there is a big rivalry between the ape colony and the human race. I hate the part when Caesar's wife and older son got killed by a ruthless colonel(except that Caesar's younger son is still alive)and when the human soldiers build a concentration camp on all apes. I love the part when Caesar and his ape allies met the little girl who can't speak and a funny ape who has been living in a cave for a long time. I love the part when the orangutan and the little girl helped the apes escape from prison, an avalanche that wiped out the last of the humanity, and the apes that made it to the desert, so they could start to build a new colony and home.
Zootopia (2016)
I love this animation movie with all of the talking animals!!!
This is one of my favorite movies because it doesn't have any humans in it. Just the talking animals. One of my favorite characters is Nick. He's the funny fox who likes to sell popsicles for money. A bunny name Judy becomes a police officer to help missing mammals who have disappeared in Zootopia. While Nick likes to be a comedian and wonders around the city, Judy runs over to Nick to ask for help, so he decided to join her in solving the missing mammal case. It doesn't matter about whether this is a bad movie because I believe this is a perfect movie for animal lovers.
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019)
I love this dragon movie
I love when Toothless gets along with a Light Fury, even though she doesn't like humans. It's nice that Hiccup gave his dragon a new tail wing so he can go out to find his girl, and it worked. The scene about Toothless and Light Fury dating made me think that I want to have a girlfriend, so the girl and I can get along and have fun. This movie shows boys how to make a positive relationship with a girl and how mating works in real life.
A Dog's Way Home (2019)
This family movie is just awful. Not suitable for children at all.
I hate this sad movie because it has an animal control officer who was trying to take away Bella from her owner, Lucas, because he believes she's a pitbull, which she's just a mixed breed. He was also threatening Lucas to have the officers arrest him if he doesn't handover Bella to the ACO. This is a serious drama movie because of all the sadness throughout the movie, especially with fear and threats from police officers in Denver. For families who want to watch a happy movie, please don't watch "A Dog's Way Home", so children don't have to freak out. Also, the ending would've been better if Bella decided to stay with a cougar, which she calls it "Big Kitten", so they can be best friends forever and roam around the woods to have fun together. Police officers and ACOs in real life would never discriminate dogs, including pitbulls. They treat and respect animals humanely, regardless of their breed.
Pete's Dragon (2016)
This family movie is ok, but too emotional.
I love the part when Pete (a boy who lives in the woods) and Elliot (a friendly dragon who turns himself invisible) play together and having fun. However, I hate the part when there are more human involvement (which includes a group of lumberjacks) near Pete's home. People including Grace (a forest ranger) and the little girl, Natalie, were following Pete because they think he ran away and got lost from his parents, but it's not true. Elliot is the true guardian who can look after Pete. If he stayed with Elliot, he wouldn't have been captured by humans. This movie should've been better if there's less humans, more animals, and a peaceful family-friendly adventure/exploring.
Christopher Robin (2018)
I say that this movie is really cute and funny.
This movie is so cute that Christopher Robin (all grown up) has came to reunite with Pooh in London.
Coco (2017)
Miguel and Hector's songs are the best
This movie is the best, except when Miguel's family hate music. But Hector is my favorite character in this movie.
Jurassic World (2015)
An Awesome Jurassic Park movie!
That movie is one of the best of all time. I've seen a lot of non dramatic science fiction action in this movie and two of the best characters are Owen and Blue. As for the two boy, who were having fun in the amusement park, they were also having fun riding an old jeep. The park shouldn't have created the Indominus Rex, otherwise it'll cause the people to panic around the park and cause a lot of chaos. One of the best parts is when Pterodactyl grabs the woman and puts her in the water, the boys meet Owen(the raptor trainer), and when the T. Rex and Blue fight against that Indominus. I say this movie is funnier and better than it's sequel.
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Best movie of the year!!!
I love Ant Man and the Wasp! The sequel of it is more funnier than the original one. I love the part when Luis and his gang use truth serum on the bad guys and turn them over to the police. I'm also happy that Hank's wife is alive! Scott is one of the funniest characters in this movie!
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
Not a bad movie for Dinosaur Lovers
Even though there had been some drama, it's really a good action movie with the help of Chris Pratt(Owen) and Bryce Dallas Howard(Claire). These main characters were supposed to save the dinosaurs from extinction, but it didn't happen because the "animal rescue team" captured the animals and left the characters on the island, but they survived anyway. The dinosaurs were brought to the mansion because of a greedy man, Rafe Spall(Mills), who only cares about the money, wants to sell these creatures to the buyers. A little girl name Maisie(Isabella Sermon) is the supporting character in the movie who help the main characters saved the dinosaurs from Spall. Overall, it's pretty good movie with most of the action and a little bit of drama.
