Fear the Walking Dead: King County (2023)
Good Concept, Crap Writing
I really find it hard to watch Fear sometimes. The writing is just so bad, cheesy and just so uninteresting. I would of given this episode a seven or an eight if it wasn't for the crap writing/dialogue. The episode had great moments, the ending worked well, but the episode felt disjointed.
I think Morgan going back to King County was great, however the episode is ruined by the PADRE storyline, and sadly enough to say it, is also ruined by Dwight and Sherry. Fear just has a habit of making their good characters evil then good again. It's so boring.
One good thing about the episode was King County. Since the massive time jump in TWD I've been wanting a series which takes us back through all the old locations showing their decay and foliage growth. I feel like that's a cool concept, and wouldn't mind seeing Rick and Darryl go in that adventure together in the future.
This season is going to be another disappointment for Fear. It's just upsetting that they couldn't pick up the story for the last season.
Tales of the Walking Dead: Dee (2022)
Finally a good episode... but with flaws
This episode was great, mainly due to Samantha's acting. However the timelines don't add up. In Season 9-10 of The Walking Dead during flashback, Beta himself cuts the skin off from his brother. This presumably shows how the Whispers begun. However we are shown that Dee comes across other people wearing masks, showing that Beta and Alpha did not start the Whisperers. This doesn't add up. In addition we find out that this episode occurs after Dee (Alpha) kills her husband (Lydia's father) which means she hasn't met Beta yet. Timeline does not make sense. This one big flaw in the writing turns my review downwards. This episode seems more like a What if.... scenario. Amazing acting, confusing writing.
Tales of the Walking Dead: Evie/Joe (2022)
Very Average
The first episode of Tales was extremely average. I loved the acting from Olivia and Terry, I also really enjoyed their chemistry. However the fighting scenes were a bit corny and finished before it even started. I wasn't a fan of the craziness of Sandra in this episode, altogether they were going for a more comedic approach, I wouldn't of minded if it was a little darker and gruesome.
My one gripe so far with both episodes is that the pacing and story telling aren't the greatest (Especially episode 2). To fix this issue for Season 2, instead of hiring directors from previous episodes of TWD and Fear I would hire smaller directors who have experience with short films, or even directors from short film competitions. I hate how they are trying to tell such a large story in one episode. Stick to something small and simple, or increase the episode length to one hour.
Either way average episode, hope they treat them more as short films rather then an episode in a series.
Tales of the Walking Dead: Blair/Gina (2022)
What the actual?
What is this? What the hell? I was so excited for this spin-off show, and we get this? I am so scared for the future of this universe, especially the Rick and Michonne series. This is just ridiculous, the creators of this show should be embarrassed. 100% do not recommend this episode, a must skip.
Fear the Walking Dead: Mourning Cloak (2022)
Dreadfully Painful
What did I just watch?
Ali was a terrible character, I was rooting for his death. A 13 year old and a 15 year old making out what the heck. The story is getting quite repetitive, bringing in a random character then killing them at the end of each episode, so boring, at this point AMC is baiting it's viewers to watch fear just for CRM stuff.
Fear the Walking Dead: Till Death (2021)
Horribly Directed
This episode was horribly directed. I feel as though the script was average, except for the first few minutes which made me question myself if I was high or not. Spoiler - DRAGONFRUIT. I feel as though if this episode was directed well then it would of been another hit episode. Except this episode did not contain a flow of story. For example, random jumps between scenes did not make sense, like the wrestling rink, somehow they manage to carry not one, not two but three boxing bags to cover the door before not even one Walker walks inside? Then it randomly cuts to this horrible sound track as the wrestlers husband is shown as a walker for a split second. This did not feel emotional in anyway, I did not feel bad for her whatsoever. I am incredibly disappointed that they screwed up a Dwight and Sherry episode. 4.5/10.
The Walking Dead: Promises Broken (2021)
Another great episode!
Season 11 of the walking dead keeps bringing us amazing episodes!
The Walking Dead: On the Inside (2021)
Yet again another great episode!
I said that episode 5 was my favourite so far during this season, but yet again another comes out being even better and terrifying. These episodes just keep getting better and better!
The Walking Dead (2010)
My favourite show!
I have been watching this show basically my entire life. I can still remember picking up the first season at a local SANITY store and binge watching it all night. This will be my favourite show no matter what. P. S. Comics are great too.
The Walking Dead: Out of the Ashes (2021)
Best Episode of Season 11 yet!
This episode had some great pace between the three groups, the people of Alexandria, Maggie's mission and the Commonwealth. The introduction to Lance Hornsby gave goosebumps demonstrating the power he has, as well as a tear jerking conversation between Rosita and Judith, which was very reminiscent of the conversation between Rick and Carl in Season 2. So far this is my favourite episode of Season 11.
Superman & Lois: Last Sons of Krypton (2021)
Awkward but still entertaining
I enjoyed the episode with it containing lots of action and thankfully a little less arguing and crying this time around. However some scenes seemed a tad bit awkward with characters just looking at each other randomly for example the scene with Lois and Jordon as she was putting the head piece onto Jonathan.
The Walking Dead: Here's Negan (2021)
Amongst the best episodes in The Walking Dead
Everything about about this episode is perfect. If this is what the new Walking Dead Tales series will be like I am excited to see the future of The Walking Dead Universe.
