Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966)
Best Worst movie EVER
This beats The Room, Birdemic, Troll 2, Plan 9 From Outer Space, and even Santa Claus and the Ice Cream Bunny (which is another worst film many people have never heard of). I can't give it a 1, because I was entertained so wonderfully from beginning to end. For what it is, it is a 10. The reason this is truly the best worst movie ever is that there is not one shred of competence in the entire movie. The sound, the cinematography, the "plot", the acting, the dubbed voices, just everything. If you enjoy watching the worst movies and have NOT seen this one, you are in for such a treat.
Beverly Hills Ghost (2018)
campy and entertaining
Keeping in mind that most of the characters are Beverly Hills cliches, this is a very funny whodunit ghost story. With a teaspoon of seriousness. As one pretty much surmises from the title, there is a ghost in Beverly Hills. A high school senior apparently committed suicide, but her ghost appears to one special girl and lets her know that she isn't sure exactly how she died, but it certainly wasn't suicide. And the fun starts there. Bev Hills High is full of typical spoiled Cali students, any of whom might know what happened, or, God forbid, may be a murderer! Okay, that's the first 3 minutes of the movie--the rest is serious fun.
