Sir (2018)
A beautiful tale.
I just wanted to watch a random flick, but this one stands out as the most beautiful thing I've seen in a while. This movie is really slow paced depiction of the society and people. Everything feels realistic and thought provoking. I am a sucker for the movies which question stereotypes and challenges many aspects of the society, which wants people to stay in the boxes and this one is the perfect match for me. Sir, takes you on a very wholesome journey. It shows you many things from different lifestyles and most importantly it never judges people.
It's a well written, and nicely directed movie. Everyone did fantastic job. And background score is also very good. Tilotma Shome is the backbone of the plot. She made Ratna look so real and sincere, I really appreciate her work. Vivek Gomber also stands out with his performance. Geetanjali Kulkarni needs a special mention. Besides this, whole cast has done beautifully.
Go watch this amazing movie, after all: "Sheher ke ladke utne bure bhi nahi hote!"
Detrás de la Montaña (2018)
Rare💎
Movies like this are really rare. And at no point you can feel like it's acted. It feels so real at every point during the entire film that you can feel yourself into the story.
It's a story of a typist, whose father leaves him when he takes birth and after a long time something takes him on a journey to find him. To seek for his long forgotten past. Will he be able to find what he has lost?
It is a well crafted movie with a bunch of really nice actors. Benny Emmanuel is the fuel of the story. He does it so so naturally, it is very much precise. Other actors are praiseworthy too. I actually wanna thank Mr. David R. Romay, for making such a gem. It was really a great experience in itself watching a movie of its own kind.
Trapped (2016)
An epic tale of fighting with the odds!
If you want to see a movie, which gives you the feel of how one can fight against his/her odds, then it's a must watch for you!
This movie really helps you think how you can be optimistic in the very miserable conditions too. This movie is a story of a middle class working guy Shaurya (Rajkumar Rao) who falls in love with her colleague Noorie (Gitanjali Thapa) and promises to marry her. So he rents an apartment so that both of them can shift there after their marriage. This flat fits in his budget but, it is in a building where no one has lived since two years. When Shaurya plans to go marry Noorie and leaves his flat, he somehow gets locked in his own flat. And this is where the tragic things start happening. He is locked in a flat where no one lives and he is at a higher flat from where no one can be approached. Will he ever get out if this trap or he has to end up there?
This movie is an epic tale of a trapped person. It really feels like the Indian Bear Grills episode with a lot of emotions. Fear of not dieing alone makes a person do really great things which he/she never has done.
Pace of this movie is slow, dialogues are very less, so you need to be a bit patient while watching it. But it's really a worth watch. Rajkumar Rao shines throughout the movie by his praiseworthy performance. Geetanjali Thapa is nice for her small role! Direction is quite good. Do watch this movie to get something unique story.
The End of the F***ing World (2017)
Just love it sooo much!
There are lot of movies/series that make you stick to the screens and you can not stop watching them till the end. This is one of those series.
Beautifully crafted and designed, this series is a must watch! One should watch it for the dialogues, its pace, characters and the way story revolves around main characters. It is the best teenage drama one could demand for. It puts a good picture of how two teenagers think about the world. How do they don't care about the rest of the world. They love the way they are. They handle the new situations in a different way that no one could expect. They are also not very funny, but that's okay. They are psychopaths but that's also okay.
The series moves in a good pace. Those 8 episodes will make you feel really nice. Acting of Alex Lawther (James) and Jessica Barden (Alyssa) are really praise worthy. Navin Chowdhry (Tony) stands out with his nice acting. This series is an award winning work and its a must watch!!
Article 15 (2019)
A must watch to have an insight of Indian society
Its been several years since Indian constitution has been implemented. But still we have big big loop holes of society. This movies shows the tragic reality of society as it is. The way lower caste people are treated in many villages is hilarious. The movie keeps going in deep dark world of so called Indian society. Where they have their own law and order. No Dalits are allowed to enter temples and if they do so, they are beaten up brutally.
Every person who has proud on this country should watch this epic story. This story puts a big question mark on the culture and society about which we brag about a lot.
Ayushmann is lit. All other supporting cast have played their role very well. Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Manoj Pahwa are praiseworthy.
Zeeshan Ayub gives a great impact.
Overall the movie is awesome.
Udaan (2010)
Awesome movie! Every father must see it.
Udaan is a nice portrayal of how a boy chases his dreams. Despite of a dictator father, Rohan wants to be a writer instead of doing engineering and working in hus fathers factory. Will he be able to go against his father? What is destined?
Rajat Barmecha is lit. Ronit Roy impresses a lot. He is the one who keeps the story moving. The songs really feel great. Its an overall best movie to watch!
