Scary and gives me Nightmares
18 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I love and hate this episode the same time. I watched it two times so far 2 years ago. The 1980s was an extremely terrible decade for American fashion/hairstyles/ mannerisms. They had no manners they were plain disgusting those young people and terrible stupid hair. Non tailored, boxy suits stupid fedoras of 1980s.

This episode is about a drunk doctor who picks up a mannequin from the department store. She is a living doll and is very scary. It gives me the goosebumps and makes me want to cry and fear the 1940s black hair murdered women. I should not. He wants to have sex with her, his friend tries to stop him but he is stupid and disgusting. If I were him, I would burn and call the cops to shoot that stupid uglyass mannequin and shred it to pieces. I would also burn it and call exorcism and tie the mannequin to the gods so the mannequin can burn in hell and never come back to earth again and have its soul deep inside hell.

Echo Mountain (1936)

Great short, especially in technicolor
9 January 2019
Its a group of travelers who are brought into the mountains by Johann, a handsome young man. He usually sings a few songs for no reason in this short film, doesn't make sense, but his voice is soothing and enjoyable. When the travelers keep climbing up the mountain, a storm draws near, and they meet a nice clockmaker and his lovely daughter. They go inside, and Johann and the blonde girl sing how they will have kids, in one of the sequences. Then after the travelers eat and drink in the clock makers house, they receive a gift from the clockmaker and sing outside when another group of travelers sing laying on the side of the hill. This film is great, astounding, enjoyable, and breath taking. Especially in technicolor, you can see how beautiful nature and the houses are. Particulary the costumes.

Beautiful ladies, entertaining musical short film
2 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This film is a pre-code two tone technicolor metro short film from 1932. It is about a department store owner's son who put a bunch of chorus girls in the lobby and then the department store owner's supervisor on his son snitches on him and his father takes a look. Then the son says how great and marvelous these ladies are and then the ladies sing and dance with lots of skin showing. Later in the film, it shows husbands checking in with the ladies and starts to play with them. Then the green dressed black haired lady starts strolling and tries to seduce these husbands while they are drinking/smoking. However, the fat lady suspects something is up with his husband so she abuses her husband for playing with the girls and unchecks her husband. Then after that, the son creates a theatrical play like entertainment. He puts the husbands' wives into a horde and they start to chase at the items that are on sale. Then after that, the audience starts singing and moving their hands. Then more singing and dancing starts kicking in. In the end, the father approves the son's chorus girls in the department store section. This film is one of the best short films I've seen in my lifetime. It shows a bunch of beautiful, hot ladies and well dressed people unlike today that is very boring with jeans, no hats, t shirts, and casual style with hair no slick back taped back and beards. It shows a bunch of chorus girls singing, other women showing the 1932 fashion styles, and performances. This short film is NOT boring and is very entertaining. It shows how normal people were unlike today with transgender, gay, lesbian, 63 other genders, mentally ill people, etc... being normalized in society. Also, this short film is probably number 3 in my top 10 best short films list. Ignore those liberals, offended people who are offended by this short because it shows fat women are not attractive and unhealthy. Also, they find everything offensive, that is another reason to watch this short since they are censoring stuff.

New Shoes (1936)
9/10
Great tabloid musical film
2 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is a MGM tabloid musical short film. Arthur Lake and Jean Chatburn, the boy and the girl accidently bump into each other while finding new shoes and the boy asks the girl will you like to come to dinner with me? she later accepts it and the shoes start singing and talking. They move even though they are objects. Then while they are dinner, the Andrews sisters start singing with jazz/swing music in the background. Later, the couple sings to each other for about 2-3 minutes and later when they arrive home, the maid massages the girls left foot and the girl laying down comfortably answers the phone. The boy sings on the phone and the girl smiles and looks up. Then the boy moves feet up and down on the ice bucket. Later, they get married with their new shoes that they bought from the store tied together behind the wedding car. This is a great musical, but it is scary at the same time. While watching this, I was shocked that shoes can talk and move by itself when they are just objects. I watched the whole thing about five times in total, I must admit. This short film is great because it has a beautiful blonde in it that also starred in "The Great Ziegfeld" and other MGM short films from the 30s. Also, it is a musical, which I love because of the swing/jazz music in the background. This short consists of that and the singing. It reminds me of the good old days because unlike the world today, the world was normal, no immigrants from third world countries, no terrorists, no baby boomers only if the people that came back after WWII known that they would create a total diaster later in the 1950s/1960s. This short overall is entertaining. I never fallen asleep while watching this. It maybe weird, but it is heart-warming and nostalgic unlike today that is offended by everything.

A Great Swing-Jazz Two Tone Technicolor musical
2 January 2019
This film shows two young men who want to host a radio show in New Zealand where the people adapted to the cave people lifestyles. They host it there in a cave, but forgot to plug the radio wire in. Later in the film, you will see that the cave people captured a bunch of panther ladies. Then they swing dance and have music playing in the background. This film is one of the most entertaining musicals shorts I've ever seen in my life. It is one of those shorts when you have a sad day, but when you watch this it will lighten you up. The best part is the music near the end and how the brown suit guy dances. Particularly, one of my favorites is the blonde women. I would not recommend liberals, silent/ baby boomer generation and liberals to watch this since it would offend them to pieces. This film is not their safe space I should say. This short film never aired on television in the 1950s-1960s because it wasn't meant to. These short films were meant to play before the main feature played in the theatre./

Great WWII musical propaganda short film, NOT old-fashioned and quaint
2 January 2019
Great musical propaganda short film with soliders and an army captain playing patriotic music to the public that USA is for freedom and opportunity. It consists of 4 sequences, Birth of Freedom, The Land Divided, Coming of Age, and Land of the Free. It consists of four time periods, The Revolutionary War, 1820S-1850S railroad expansion, 1860s Civil War, and WWI-Present era. This short film is terrific. It shows how people from different class were united, had social norms, and were not trash dressing unlike today. It shows how USA was great back then, unlike today filled with hatred, mentally ill people, baby boomers/silent generation, etc... This short film shows a sense of nostalgia of America that will never happen again because of the counterculture, baby boomers/silent generation, and JFK/LBJ in 1960-1968 for imposing great society, immigration act of 1965 which led a big wave of immigrants from third world countries like Mexico, Honduras, Cuba, Puerto Rico coming here. And guess what happened? The late 60s-present vandalism increased, drug use increased, crime rate increased. etc...
