The Karate Kid (2010)

Not Even Close to the Original

I have 3 major problems with this movie. One is that I feel uncomfortable watching 10 year old kids fight and the chinese kid that Jaden Smith fights looks like a grown man. Two is that they have one training scene. In the original, there were about 3. Three, Jaden was obviously just thrown into this role because of Will Smith wanted him to be a movie star. In conclusion, if you somehow don't like the original, give this one a shot.

Fantastic Four (I) (2005)

Not as Bad as People Think

Fantastic Four (2005) is a charming movie that has a lot of that early 2000's flair to it, and unlike its 2015 counterpart, the characters actually seemed real and you could believe that giant rock man was walking around. As for plot, it could be a little bit more straightfoward, but it doesn't throw me off. It's more of just an annoyance, and I'd say that all of the characters costume design looks a lot better than 2015 Fantastic Four as well. Also, Doctor Doom is more fitting to the comic book representation. Overall, it was a pretty good movie. Don't see why people have such a problem with it.

Justice League (2017)

Steaming pile of crap

Justice League is the worst movie of 2017, BY FAR. I have seen almost every superhero film in 2017 and none of them are even close to Justice League. The characters don't flow well together, Wonder Woman is always trying to pose because she is a model, Batman isn't even sticking around for another film, Superman wasn't even in the movie half the time, and he was already starting another role because he knew this one was going to be bad as they were doing re-shoots. The actor who played Cyborg had most of his parts cut and he thanked the director for cutting all of his parts because he knew they were so bad. Don't even get me started on the awful CG bad guy who doesn't do anything, and I don't even need to say anything else to explain my choice of stars. I would've given it a 0 if I could've.

Aquaman (2018)

Not Awful, Not Good

At the start of the movie, somehow him being born by a human and a mer-person and somehow he gets all the powers to control all the fish even though his brother was born by mer-people and didn't get to control all the fish. Then it went back to him as a kid training and then something happens with his trainer bringing up his mother's death and the you figure out she isn't really dead, which is just a cheap twist. My biggest gripe is Aqua-man's brother was trying to get all the sea's kingdoms together but 2/4 he just started killing people. You'd think you'd need those people, and then aqua-man somehow controls the god and then just kills a bunch of people, and then his mother tells them two to stop fighting, which is the best scene in the movie. So overall, a decent movie if you're a superhero movie fan you'll like it.

Monsters University (2013)

Not as Good as the Original

In Monsters University, you would think since its at college that Mike and Sully would have more high pitched voices but they had deeper voices because its 10 years after the original which really threw me off and I don't get why they would go to college for scaring. It's very stupid and that's why I gave it 5 stars.
