Two-time Emmy® award-winner composer and music supervisor, Michael Whalen, is a veteran of 800 TV and film scores, thousands of commercials and numerous TV themes and corporate identity pieces. His best known work is: the score for Veronika Decides to Die (2014), the PBS documentary series Slavery and the Making of America (2006), The Oprah Winfrey Show (2000 - 2008), the feature documentary What the Bleep do We Know? and his many TV themes and IDs for Good Morning America, HBO, PBS. COMCAST, Inside Edition, Verizon and many others.
Michael is also an internationally renown recording artist and producer who has 33 solo and soundtrack recordings to his credit. His song I Have Loved you for a Thousand Lifetimes has over 38 million streams on Spotify. His latest album Sacred Spaces (2020) has charted #1 on over 15 international charts and was named the best album of the year (so far) by New Age Music Guide. He is published by Warner/Chappell Music and he has his own imprint record label called Solace released through the myndstream label group.
