the closest film to my heart on this list, i grew up near hear, in a patch or earth no one knows anything about, even in Australia, this movie perfectly captures what it is to live in modern Northern Territory Australia. This film is an absolute undiscovered gem.

if you never got that fix of prison rape out of your system from your box set of Oz, this movie is like......if halfway through shawshank redemption, tim Robbens didnt fight off those rapists, and they just raped himn like the entire movie, and flung feces at each other. Thats what this movies like.

and surprisingly considerably less feces in this movie than the former.

Australian's find this movie slightly less creepy due to the fact the serial killer used too do the building segment on the lifestyle show "Better Homes and Gardens". Americans will find this movie awesomely horrifying and perhaps another reason not to visit Australia.
