To celebrate Moschino’s 40th anniversary, four celebrated stylists were asked to create a collection inspired by Franco Moschino’s iconic designs in the period between 1983 — when the designer’s flair and creative genius broke into the monotony of Milanese fashion with his innovative and unusual clothes — and 1993, the year of the last fashion show before his untimely death.
Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Katie Grand, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson and Lucia Liu are the creative souls who were given the task of putting together the collection, after the departure of previous creative director Jeremy Scott. Sitting in the front row was an attentive and vigiliant Alberta Ferretti — founder of the Aeffe group, the brand owner’s — enjoying the fruits of their labor, on such an important anniversary and with a fitting tribute to the brand’s founder.
For the show, titled “40 Years of Love,” each stylist brought 10 personal interpretations of Moschino’s unmistakable style.

Fashion bible Vogue has cut ties with the rapper Kanye West, following a string of recent controversies including his anti-Semitic rants and his support for the White Lives Matter movement.
A Vogue spokesperson told Page Six exclusively on Friday that neither the magazine nor its editor-in-chief Anna Wintour intend to work with Kanye West again after his anti-Semitic rants and support for the White Lives Matter cause.
Wintour, 72, has had a long and close relationship with the rapper-turned-designer, 45. She first invited him to her annual Met Gala in 2009 before featuring him and now-ex-wife Kim Kardashian on the cover in 2014 after their wedding, reports pagesix.com.
Just last month, Wintour modeled the Yeezy founder’s new sunglasses line in press images sent out to promote the shades even after he publicly bullied Kardashian online about their children.

Following Kanye West’s inflammatory White Lives Matter shirts at his Yzy Paris fashion show earlier this month, it was unclear where the graphic T-shirts would end up. But in a video posted by Ian Connor — a West associate and popular stylist who was accused of sexual assault by at least half-a-dozen women — it appears West’s team handed out the shirts for free in Los Angeles’ Skid Row neighborhood Sunday night.

Gigi Hadid had a candid conversation about what it’s like being the big boss for her own company.
In September, the model launched a cashmere brand called Guest in Residence and, in a new interview, she opened up about the reality of running her own business.
“I have imposter syndrome all the time,” Hadid told Vogue fashion editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson on Friday at the magazine’s Forces of Fashion event.
While many would reason that Hadid’s mega-model status and years-long experience in the industry makes her a fashion expert, the 27-year-old explained that she chose a more difficult path, instead of the easier route, when it comes to her brand’s offerings- a line of intentional products.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid expressed that she’s not very different from the rest of us as she launched her fashion brand and admits that she has imposter syndrome. Speaking to Vogue, Hadid said: “I have imposter syndrome all the time.”
She has established herself in the modelling world but since becoming mother to two-year-old Khai, who she shares with singer ex Zayn Malik, she decided that she wanted to try a different type of work, reports mirror.co.uk.
The model launched her cashmere brand Guest in Residence last month. The idea for the brand had been brewing for some time with her remembering a moment when her parents gave her a cashmere sweater to combat the New York cold when she started at The New School.
Although she has a very successful modelling career, Gigi insisted that an office job would make her feel ‘much more settled’.
She said: “You can’t model forever.

Just one day after Kanye West's account was suspended by Instagram, the rapper's Twitter account has been locked as well. On Friday, Oct. 7, West pivoted to Twitter to continue his social media rants. At first, his return to Twitter was praised by Elon Musk, who is in the process of purchasing the company, but by Sunday, his account had been locked due to what many have called out as an anti-Semitic tweet.
A Twitter spokesperson told Popsugar on Sunday, "The account in question has been locked due to a violation of Twitter's policies." This comes after West tweeted remarks that were called out as anti-Semitic over the weekend. The tweet in question, which has since been removed, read, "I'm a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I'm going death con 3 On Jewish People. Justin Bieber is standing up for his wife Hailey Bieber after the model was trolled by Kanye West for supporting Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, whom was attacked online by West.

Kanye West’s definition of a friend is a little off-center. During his Thursday night appearance on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight, the rapper used his “good friend” Lizzo as the driving point behind a critique on the body-positive movement, calling the championing of her weight “demonic” and – along with abortion, for some reason – comparable to a “genocide of the Black race.”

Kanye West seems to be throwing shade at just about any celebrity, specifically fashion models, who stand with Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson’s decision to criticize the rapper and designer’s controversial “White Lives Matter” T-shirts.
After trolling Gigi Hadid for defending the fashion editor, West is now trolling Hailey Bieber for speaking out as well.
On Wednesday, the Yeezy designer uploaded a screenshot of an E! News article about Bieber’s support for Karefa-Johnson after he Googled his name.
“Wait Am I canceled again???” West captioned the Instagram post. “Justin [Bieber] please let me know.”

Ahmaud Arbery’s mother, Wanda Cooper-James, is the latest to speak out against Kanye “Ye” West‘s controversial Yzy Szn 9 runway show.
In a statement to Rolling Stone, Cooper-James expressed her “extreme disappointment” for West’s “White Lives Matter” stunt.
“As a result of his display ‘White Lives Matter’ started trending in the U.S., which would directly support and legitimize extremist behavior, [much] like the behaviour that took the life of her son,” Cooper-James said per her attorney, Lee Merritt. “That is the thing that Wanda and families like hers continue to fight against.”
“This mockery of the Black Lives Matter movement and his now denunciation of the movement as some sort of hoax flies directly in the face [of what he’s said,]” the statement added. “It’s confusing for her, it’s confusing for the families to receive his support privately, but publicly to set us all back.”

Kanye West is calling his former sister-in-law Khloé Kardashian a “liar” after she dropped a fiery comment on one of his Instagram posts.
The reality TV star called out West after he went on another social media rampage, dragging her family’s name through the dirt, especially his ex wife and Kardashian’s sister Kim.
“Ye, I love you,” the reality star began in an Instagram comment. “I don’t want to do this on social media but You keep bringing it here. You are the father of my nieces and nephews and I’m trying to be respectful but please Stop tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect.”

Gigi Hadid won't put up with bullies, no matter how famous they are. On Oct. 3, fashion editor and stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson caught Kanye West's attention for criticizing the "White Lives Matter" apparel he debuted at his Yeezy presentation during Paris Fashion Week. "The t-shirts this man conceived, produced, and shared with the world are pure violence. There is no excuse, there is no art here," Karefa-Johnson wrote on her Instagram Story after the show. In retaliation, West posted several photos of Karefa-Johnson directly on his Instagram page (most of which have since been deleted), mocking her fashion and writing that he feels she is not someone to be taken seriously.

On Monday, Kanye West debuted the Yeezy Season 9 collection to an invite-only crowd of celebrities and insiders at Paris Fashion Week. During the show, he unveiled a t-shirt bearing a photo of Pope John Paul II on the front and, inexplicably, the phrase “White Lives Matter” on the back. “We changed the look of fashion over the last 10 years. We are the streets. We are the culture,” Ye said during an extended preamble to the show. “And when it comes to the culture, I am Ye, and everyone knows I am the leader.

The Kardashian-Jenners have, mostly, kept quiet throughout the past year as Kim Kardashian's ex Kanye West has used his social media platform to levy allegations, claims, and comments about his former family - but Khloé Kardashian has apparently had enough. On Oct. 5, the mom of two commented on her former brother-in-law's Instagram post about an ongoing situation with fashion editor and stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, in which West also doubled down on previous claims that the Kardashians "keep me from seeing my daughter" and his other three children with Kim. West has before claimed publicly that he didn't know where his daughter Chicago's fourth birthday party was in January, though he was ultimately pictured there, People reported at the time.

Kanye West and Gabriella Karefa-Johnson seem to have resolved their issues, according to the rapper.
Following West’s repugnant remarks about the Vogue fashion editor after she called him out for including “White Lives Matter” apparel in his Yeezy Paris Fashion Week show, the two have apparently apologized to one another.
“Gabby is my sister,” West wrote in all-caps, captioning a photo of Karefa-Johnson from when she was honoured as a member of this year’s BoF500.
“Im not letting people go to bed thinking I didn’t meet with Gabrielle at 5pm today for 2 hours then we went to dinner at [Ferdi],” he continued.
West claimed that Australian filmmaker and “Elvis” director Baz Luhrmann recorded the conversation, under Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour’s instruction. He noted that the footage is being edited.

Kanye West’s latest stunt of championing the slogan “White Lives Matter” and decrying Black Lives Matter as a “scam” has not only brought sharp rebukes from his music and fashion industry peers, but from the mother of Ahmaud Arbery, whom the rapper had privately supported after her son was murdered in a racially-motivated attack.
