Dylan Sprouse is no stranger to the big screen, having started his acting career at just eight months old alongside his identical, younger twin brother, Cole. From their breakout role in Adam Sandler’s “Big Daddy” to becoming Disney Channel stars as tweens, the Sprouse Twins seemed destined for a lifelong career in show business until they both took a break from acting to attend New York University in 2011. While Cole returned to television in 2016 to star as Jughead Jones in the CW’s hit series “Riverdale,” Dylan is finally making his own return to acting with the lead role in a new thriller, “Dismissed.”

An admission up front: I am a huge fan of Tamil film superstar Suriya. If I were to compare him to a similar performer in Hollywood, I’d say he’s kind of like the Gerard Butler of Kollywood. He’s a buff pretty boy who seems to be equally at home in romantic comedies and action films. Suriya has huge charisma, but for the last several years, not unlike Mr. Butler, he’s had a very hard time translating that charisma into good films. Regardless, the films Suriya makes try to be good fun, often with some pretty high concept ambitions. However, he’s been in a major slump over the last decade and his fans, me included, have watched with pity as he’s made one bad decision after...

Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich used to be an effective team, bringing movies like Stargate and Independence Day into theaters as screenwriters and producers. Alas, Devlin and Emmerich haven.t produced a film together since 2000.s The Patriot, and Devlin hasn.t written anything (apart from an episode of Leverage) since 1998.s "mutter the title under your breath, lest you be publicly scorned" blockbuster Godzilla. It looks like that drought is about to end pretty soon, as Heat Vision has reported that Mr. Devlin is not only writing but also directing what looks like a massive throwback to those Independence Days and Stargate nights. And he.s got Gerard Butler (Olympus Has Fallen) helping out in the lead! Geostorm tells the story of Mr. Butler.s character, who.s described as: ".a stubborn but charming satellite designer who, when the world.s climate-controlling satellites malfunction, has to work together with...

Mad Men’s season premiere on Sunday night, titled “Time Zones,” picked up less than a year after the events in last season’s finale in which Don Draper (Jon Hamm) was put on a sabbatical after a cringe-worthy pitch to Hershey executives.
Mad Men Recap
The episode opens with Freddy Rumsen (Joel Murray) testing out a pitch for Accutron for Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) In her Sterling Cooper & Partner’s office. She’s impressed with the direction he’s going in, and cleans it up with the simple catchphrase – “Accutron, it’s time for a conversation.” After her meeting with Rumsen, who’s freelancing for the ad firm, Peggy heads to a status meeting with Lou Avery, who’s serving as Don’s replacement for the time being.

There's a first for everything! The normally impeccably dressed Olivia Palermo tried out a new look this weekend: completely casual. True, the 27-year-old—famous for turning the sidewalk into her own personal runway—often wears flats or vintage finds, but she still always looks ultra polished. Yet for a morning stroll with boyfriend Johannes Huebl and her dog Mr. Butler, the style savant, chose ripped boyfriend jeans and a gray sweatshirt. The top's thin material showed the star—who appeared to have no makeup under her black shades—had also opted to go bra-free. Even with the slight wardobe malfuntion you won't find any judgement here, Olivia! After all, even fashionistas...

Howard Stern's radio show has a knack for getting celebrities to spill lurid details about their personal lives, and Monday's (March 11) episode was no exception with guest Gerard Butler.
Getting straight to the nitty gritty, the hunky "Playing for Keeps" actor was asked about a certain "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star who claimed she slept with him.
Last year, Brandi Glanville revealed that she hooked up with the 43-year-old on a late night interview, but when a paparazzo confronted Gerard with the allegation, he replied, "Who's Brandi Glanville?"
Though upset that she shared the personal details, the Scottsman explained that the answer was because he didn't know her last name or that she was a celebrity. After putting the pieces together, Mr. Butler called her to apologize for insinuating that she was lying.

The decision by Warner Bros. to move The Gangster Squad (trailer) to January, 2013 and Universal’s choice to move Les Miserables from next weekend to Christmas day should have caused a giant game of musical chairs. It didn’t, and now we have the second December weekend in a row (with one more to come) with just a single new release). Meanwhile the last two weekends of the year are going to be jam-packed with major films (Jack Reacher, This Is Forty, DJango Unchained, The Guilt Trip, etc.), all of which could have *easily* topped the box office and/or dominated the competition had they opened this weekend or last weekend. But weekends that are barren of new releases save for a Gerald Butler vehicle tend to be very boring box office weekends indeed. But this weekend saw but a single half-hearted new release, a Gerald Butler rom-com that once...

Paranorman is set in the town of Blithe Hollow, whose locals profit from mining the town’s history as the site, 300 years ago, of a famous witch hunt. 11-year-old Norman Babcock (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee of Let Me In and The Road) spends much of his days appreciating the finer points of scary movies and studying ghost lore. In fact, Norman is gifted with the ability to see and speak with the dead, such as his beloved grandmother (Elaine Stritch). Most days, he prefers their company to that of his flustered father (Jeff Garlin), spacey mother (Leslie Mann), and deeply superficial older sister Courtney (Anna Kendrick). At middle school, Norman dodges bullying Alvin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), confides in the impressionable Neil (Tucker Albrizzi), and tries to tune out his blowhard teacher Mrs. Henscher (Alex Borstein).

The life of surveillance expert, Harry Caul (Gene Hackman) in The Conversation (1974, directed by Francis Ford Coppola) is one of ritual, fear and obsession. This man of many facets is identifiable by the clothes he wears, specifically because of their bland anonymity and repetition. The young actor’s name is Austin Butler and you may have spied the blond on Lifetime’s The Bling Ring. According to Deadline the young Carrie Bradshaw will be acted by AnnaSophia Robb of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bridge to Terabithia, The Reaping and Soul Surfer.
He may not be Mr. Big, but Austin Butler will enter Carrie’s 80′s era High School kind of the same way Edward Cullen enters the cafeteria at Forks High. He’s going to draw attention. His character’s name is Sebastian Kydd. That doesn’t sound made up at all,...

Norman goes up against zombies, ghosts and fun in this second trailer for the comedy thriller Paranorman. The dead will rise in theaters in 3D on August 17, 2012. You don’t become a hero by being normal.
From Laika Entertainment, the makers of Coraline, comes Paranorman, a stop motion, ghost-filled zombie comedy in 3D. When a small town comes under siege by zombies, who can it call? Only misunderstood local boy Norman (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee, Let Me In), who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, he’ll have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst of all, grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse. But this young ghoul whisperer may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.

Reality does often give us stories that fiction often pales in comparison to. Knowing that there are true heroes that live among us, forging along paths that few would dare to tread gives us all hope that there is good in this world and it's worth fighting for. In the incredible tale of Sam Childers, the violent, drug-addicted biker turned Christian soldier for the oft-forgotten orphans of Africa, we learn firsthand not only that everyone is worthy of a second chance, but a man with a mission can truly change the world, one bullet at a time.

First Clip From Machine Gun Preacher
It looks like Gerard Butler will be taking a turn for the more serious this Fall when he stars in director Marc Forster's latest film, Machine Gun Preacher. The trailer went online back in August and the film has been slowly starting to gain some serious buzz, possibly even Oscar buzz for Mr. Butler himself. Lately Butler has been starring in mindless action films, but it appears that he's looking to impress in Machine Gun Preacher. He plays Sam Childers, a former drug dealer who finds his heart and becomes a preacher and savior of orphaned children who are forced into war.

Just days after turning heads in Hollywood with a mop top of shaggy blond hair and a noticeably leaner physique, Gerard Butler has taken things to a more naked level. A new shirtles photo of the 300 star proves that, yes, Mr. Butler has been working hard on his super sexy bod... Butler showed off his chiseled abs and arms when he was snapped by photographers in a locker room while changing for a charity sports event in Scotland. He's wearing nothing but a pair of low-hanging white shorts. He goofed for the cameras, sticking out his tongue while making a funny face. The actor joined a team of former Glasgow Celtic stars to help them beat a group of retired Manchester United players in a 5-2 match. The...

Big news for Portland-based animation house Laika. Focus Features, also behind Coraline, is re-teaming with Laika for two more upcoming stop-motion animated features next. The first is a project called ParaNorman, which is already scheduled for August 17th, 2012. The second project's title hasn't been announced, but it's scheduled for 2014, so we have a while for that. ParaNorman will only be the second stop-motion feature made in 3D. However, given that Nightmare Before Xmas/Coraline director Henry Selick left the studio in '09, he won't be involved with these, but they've got some other big talent lined up. I was fortunate enough to catch Coraline in Real 3D when it came out to the theatres. I dug the flick quite a bit. I thought it was a pretty faithful adaptation from Gaiman’s story as well and Selick’s direction was pretty right on. Sadly, it is the only stop-motion animated film in 3D and I think that is a shame. I believe stop-motion better lends its qualities to the 3D format than CGI. So, I’m excited to give you some news that some of the same team behind Coraline is back to give you some more three dimensional stop-motion! Read beyond the break…

Back in October, DreamWorks Animation announced their intentions to produce a sequel to their hit animated title, How to Train Your Dragon. At that time, it was also revealed that the entire cast of the original movie -- including Jay Baruchel, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, and Kristen Wiig -- would be returning for How to Train Your Dragon 2 as well...except for one.
At that time it was unclear whether the biggest star on their roster, Gerard Butler, would be back or not. Now comes word that Mr. Butler has worked all of the dirty details out, and will indeed be back to voice the role of Stoick, the strong warrior father of Hiccup (Baruchel).

Earlier this week, Gerard turned up at the after party for the New York City premiere of “Conviction.”
Mr. Butler mingled with the likes of Hilary Swank and Juliette Lewis during the swanky shindig at the SoHo Grand Hotel.

You know those ads that Sony has been running ever since the PS3’s price drop last August? Well, apparently they have been working.
At a conference last week, Scea’s head of marketing, Peter Dille, said that:
“The campaign is working to drive hardware sales.”
“PlayStation 3 sales are up 184 percent in the three months following the price drop, and while a lot of that has to do with price itself, we know from research that consumers are more educated as well.”
I certainly think that the newer ads are much better than the absolutely terrible ones that the system launched with. Those ads were pretty pointless and irrelevant to the product as a whole.
Dille went on to say:
“Purchase intent went from 19 percent prior to the price drop, to 36 percent after this campaign started. And we’ve also tracked our competitors and they’ve fallen during the same time.
