Well, here we go again. One of the best superhero content of the current times, The Boys is back with a brand new season and this time it is even more crazier than ever before. Created by Eric Kripke and based on a comic book series of the same name, the superhero dark comedy series follows a group of vigilantes as they go up against morally bankrupt superheroes led by a maniacal Superman-like supe Homelander.
In Season 4 we will see Billy Butcher getting The Boys back together to go up against Homelander and his minions as he doesn’t have much time left after the events of Season 3. The Boys spin-off series Gen V is also going to play a big role in the upcoming season as a supe-killing virus that was introduced in the spin-off series is probably going to be the main MacGuffin of the season.

The Boys Season Four: Billy Butcher Gets The Band Back Together In Bloody Beautiful Official Trailer
Last night during their Ccxp presentation, Prime Video launched the first official trailer for The Boys season four and it's every bit as batshit crazy as we've come to expect from Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and his gang of lovable misfits.
Picking up a short while after the events of season three, which aired in 2022, the trailer quickly reacquaints us to the world of The Boys, with Billy doing his best to make amends with his former team. With the squad not exactly keen on bringing him back into the fold, he seemingly reveals his terminal diagnosis and then it seems like it'll be all hands on deck as our favorite band of heroes team up to take down Homelander (Antony Starr) once and for all.
In addition to Urban and Starr, the returning main cast includes Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone,...

The official trailer for "The Boys" season 4 just dropped, and it looks like some of the antiheroes in Prime Video's hit series are having a bit of an identity crisis. "Violence isn't brave," Jack Quaid's Hughie says at one point, noting that the titular kill squad should probably stop killing everyone if they actually want to save the world. Of course, in typical "The Boys" fashion, that nice sentiment is surrounded on all sides by violence: rooms full of dead bodies, a leg getting sawed off, and a guy going splat against a building, among other (gross) things.
That last kill will surely be of interest to fans of the series, as it's committed by Butcher's own stepson, Ryan (Cameron Crovetti), who's now under the tutelage of his biological dad, weirdo supervillain Homelander (Antony Starr). After he seemingly explodes a guy against a building, Ryan is rewarded with...

When Amazon’s “The Boys” debuts its fourth season next month, things are shaping up to be crazier than the time they blew up a whale and that other time they blew up a giant penis, as it seems Butcher (Karl Urban) and Homelander (Antony Starr) are ready to burn their whole lives down — and take everyone else with them.
In “The Boys” Season 4 trailer, Butcher reveals to Hughie (Jack Quaid), Starlight (Erin Moriarty) and the rest of the Boys that time is running out for him, and with the few numbered days he and his weakened heart have left, he’s looking to unleash a deadly virus on the supe community. Giancarlo Esposito has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe... but not as the character he's been campaigning to play over the past few months.
The actor has expressed interest in taking over from Sir Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy as the next big-screen incarnation of Professor Charles Xavier on several occasions, although he wasn't too keen on one particular aspect of the character.
"I've given it a cursory glance in my brain, and immediately I go 'Hmm,'" he said during a recent interview with Fade To Black . As we know, the psychotic leader of The Seven will be joining Victoria Neuman on the Presidential campaign trail, and almost certainly has designs on the Oval Office himself.
Butcher doesn't have long to live following his diagnosis in the season 3 finale, but you can bet your ass he'll be using what time he has left to make Homelander's life as difficult as possible.

Prime’s The Boys has gained immense love and appeal from its fans, as it has shown a refreshing take on superheroes, which goes beyond themes like nobility and selflessness. The series showcases a darker side of heroism and how individuals would act if they had superpowers. With relevant themes and equally dark humor, the show is definitely a fan favorite.

In recent weeks, writer/director Parker Finn has been assembling the cast for a sequel to his 2022 horror film Smile (read our review Here, watch the movie Here) – a project we’re referring to as Smile 2 until we hear otherwise. The film is aiming for an October 18, 2024 theatrical release date, and according to Deadline, Finn has just rounded out the cast with the two latest additions. We’ve previously heard that the cast will include Naomi Scott of Aladdin and Charlie’s Angels, Lukas Gage of The White Lotus and You, Rosemarie DeWitt of La La Land and the Poltergeist remake, Dylan Gelula of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Dream Scenario, and Kyle Gallner (Red State), reprising the role he played in the first movie. Dylan Gelula may be best known for playing the role of Xanthippe Voorhees in 13 episodes of the Netflix series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt… but since I haven’t gotten around to watching that show yet, where I know her from is the recent Nicolas Cage movie Dream Scenario, where her character has a very memorable interaction with Cage. Since Gelula’s section of the movie is also the part that sticks with me more than any other, I’m glad to hear (via Deadline) that she has been cast in writer/director Parker Finn’s sequel to his 2022 horror film Smile (read our review Here, watch the movie Here) – a project we’re referring to as Smile 2 until we hear otherwise. We’ve seen a couple casting announcements for writer/director Parker Finn’s sequel to his 2022 horror film Smile (read our review Here, watch the movie Here), which is aiming for an October 18, 2024 theatrical release date. Last month, it was announced that Naomi Scott of Aladdin and Charlie’s Angels has been cast in Smile 2, and yesterday we learned that Lukas Gage of The White Lotus and You is in the cast as well… and when seeing those announcements, I could only wonder, “Where is Kyle Gallner?” A genre regular, Gallner had a role in Smile, and his character made it through the whole movie. So why wasn’t his presence in Smile 2 being confirmed? Well, thankfully, now it has. The Wrap reports that Gallner will be reprising the role of police detective Joel in the film. Also joining the cast is Rosemarie DeWitt, whose previous credits include La La Land...

After a lengthy hiatus and the premiere of the spin-off series “Gen V,” the wait for new episodes of “The Boys” is finally coming to an end. Eric Kripke’s satirical superhero franchise returns to Prime Video in 2024, and a new trailer promises that Season 4 will be every bit as dramatic (and R-rated) as its predecessors.
The new trailer, which debuted at Ccxp São Paulo on Saturday, shows the supes dealing with the aftermath of their battle with Homelander (Anthony Starr) and preparing for a looming election as the existence of superheroes becomes an increasingly polarizing topic in America.

Prime Video’s first teaser trailer for The Boys season four shows a world on the verge of war. “All democracies fail because people are f****** stupid,” says a voice-over, adding, “But if you crush the masses, who builds your monuments?”

The trailer teases some wild action scenes (as expected from this twisted series) and ends with the introduction of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character.
Season four, premiering in 2024, stars Antony Starr as Homelander, Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, and Jack Quaid as Hughie. Erin Moriarty is Starlight, Chace Crawford is The Deep, Jessie T. This article contains spoilers for The Boys and Gen V.
Between the original series and the latest spinoff Gen V, The Boys universe has done a great job thus far of showing us the insidiousness of Vought and the supe-fueled culture that they’ve fabricated. However, the difference in perspective that these companion shows give us helps to paint an even broader picture of just how much Compound V has impacted the lives of supes and humans alike, and just how much work Vought has done over decades to normalize it.
The Boys has dipped its toes into showing us the physical cost that having superpowers can take through A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) and the heart attack he suffers after overdosing on Compound V to enhance his powers. Even though he recovers, he has to limit the use of his abilities for a while, which threatens his position in The Seven...

This article contains spoilers for The Boys seasons 1-3 and Gen V season 1.
In the world of Prime Video’s The Boys, superheroes – or supes as they’re not-so-affectionately called – are a part of normal, everyday life. But these supes aren’t naturally born, they’re created by Vought Industry’s Compound V serum. Even though Vought does their best to control who does and does not become a supe, they don’t have control over how abilities manifest in people who take Compound V.
This leads to a wide variety of powers among the supes on the show, including those in the prestigious superhero group known as The Seven. With so many superpowered characters appearing in both large and small roles throughout the series, it can be hard to keep track of what exactly everyone can do. Here is a handy guide breaking down the powers of The Seven,...
