I have yet to see a movie by Billy Wilder that I haven't enjoyed. And I think that "The Lost Weekend" is one of his best. Ray Milland is brilliant in his Oscar winning role of Don Birnham, a struggling writer who is an alcoholic. Jane Wyman is beautiful and gives a great performance as Helen, the woman who's devoted to Don, despite his problems. I think this is a must see film, especially if you're a Billy Wilder fan. 10 out of 10!
