Time honored plot shows the attempts to take a hill and then find the whole operation pointless. Particularly appropo in light of the Vietnam setting but McDermott and Weber are hardly Berringer and Dafoe but Cheadle is very good. The firefights are fairly realistic and the movie is not slow but it has been done before and will be done again.
