A strikingly photographed and acted psychological horror film. Two seemingly different women are thrust together in an apartment complex; the machinations of one, to feed the other woman with her fetishistic recipes, and the other woman's need to suppress all appetite and contact with the world, are brought to a boil in a powerful and disturbing climax. What comes before is an absorbing and totally unique character study of two lonely people who flirt with madness and oblivion.
