When I saw the previews for this show I knew I had to be sitting in front of my television with the remote in my hand ready to begin recording on premiere night.
I had a feeling that the show might not last long so I taped all the episodes. Thank goodness I did! I'm almost afraid to watch them anymore though because I don't want them to wear out. I have no clue why FOX decided to take away this show except that Ally McBeal became such a success. Even now I refuse to watch Ally because I want Roar back! It was so much more intelligent and creative than Xena and Hercules.
As much as I would like to hate FOX for what they've done, I'm a huge X-Files and Simpson's fan so I can't really stay mad at them, but there are so many shows that they could replace Roar with! If not replace something in prime time, at least add it to the late Sunday night line-up along with all the other shows like Beast Master and that stupid Pamela Anderson show. I know that many other people besides myself would at least set their vcr's to record it, if not stay up to watch. I really miss this show, please bring it back!!!!!
