This comedy about a retired general who keeps his personal little army of five daughters is fun especially in the first 30 minutes. Orestis Makris is very credible and funny as the general and the other characters are quite loveable.
However, the interesting theme of foreign (modern) influences in the Greek (old-fashioned) society in the 1950s hasn't been worked out that well. But then again, it's meant to be a light comedy. There are also some very nice comedy ideas, like the flowerpot-throwing thing.
