Thanks to this I've developed a fondness for leather

Well I see where some of the other imdb critics have trashed this film.Sorry folks, it isn't that bad.

The plot concerns a vampire who "moonlights" as a hit woman. She has been baffling New Scotland Yard as the "Angel Of Death".This time out she has been hired to kill certain people and take their rings that have a mystic symbol of a "masonic" cult.

But she unknowingly leaves a witness to one of her hits. The police are put on her trail. Only one cop believes that she really is a vampire. He is also a member of the cult and tries the time tested ways of vampire eradication. This movie shoots holes "literally" into many of the vampire myths. Crosses don't work, neither does garlic or a stake in the heart. Sunlight causes eye distress.

Lilth has to use her wits, knives, swords and automatics to save her human lover and take on the cult. Yes, there is a very surprising ending to this little goodie.

There are pitfalls to this flick. Everybody is a poor shot. More bullets miss their marks than at a beginners gun safety target class. Some of the camera angles try to be too arty for their sake of being clever. The repeating of a scene from different angles is nothing new and distracting.Lilth's fangs suck.

What does work is the basic premise of a vampire killer for hire and a great script. The acting is very good and the movie doesn't drag along.Lillth does look great in leather. Eileen Daly isn't the beauty of the year but she has an animal grace that makes you watch her closely.

Worth a rental.
