Tru Calling is an exceptionally exciting show. It's about Tru Davies, a college graduate who works grave yard shift at the city morgue. On her first day, she encounters a dead lady who whispers "help me", which then takes Tru back to that same day to prevent her death from happening. Later on in the show, she discovers that her gift of repeating the same days over is to prevent the deaths of people who died before their time came.
Twists are scattered out throughout episodes, which always catch watchers off guard. In the first season, it's revealed that he dead mother had the same gift as her. Her boss, Davis, mysteriously finds about her gift, and her fellow co-worker Jack, has a similar gift, in which he tries to make sure the dead, stay dead. An unlikely duo!
