Devour is the latest horror directed by David Winkler starring (Jenson Ackles), (Shannyn Sossaman) and (Dominique Swain), its a story of Jake Gray who is a college student with a shaky past and family relationship, him and his friends stumble across "The Pathway" a private Internet game, it is a success and a help at first, but spirals out of control when Jake begins to see premonitions and visions of his friends and family, what does it all mean?? The theme of Devour was very exciting added in was a young hopeful cast that haven't appeared in any big name films. I first thought what an original idea a computer game called "The Pathway" with something not right, very original and witty idea. Jenson Ackles did not sell the role of his character, the situations and reactions with some of the characters where not believable, Swain put in a mediocre performance as the bad girl, where as in "Tart" as the good girl she sold the role.
Disappointing film, considering the build up and such an original idea. Could have been so much more and a movie to add to the must see list, not the must see the idea but forget watching it list!
